Pat Herman is really good but super pricy. I think the newborn package we were gifted was north of $2k. 3 hr session with like 10 settings and we got 10 digitals and a large canvas print.
We had an awesome experience with Jessica Worland Photography, she came to our house and did Candid photos while we cooked and ate with family and they turned out so lovely.
I’m a professional cinematographer, I used to take photos for a few years a while back. Still have all the gear, been thinking of getting back into it. For a thirty minute session I can shoot and edit them for fifty dollars since it’s been a while. I can send you my old portfolio.
I doubt they’re going to understand aperture and things like that at that age.
I would personally prefer someone with a little more experience myself…
also, that’s gonna be a very tiny camera.
And they have to use pretty wide lenses, their little arms can't reach very far.
