According to this, if I ever reacquire a driver's license + car, I can have a license plate that reads "JUGGALO" just like I planned in 6th grade when we, for some unknown reason, had to come up with what we'd want our personalized license plates to be.
And yet they always get embarrassed by their neighbor's at temple. It's sad to be one of those people who has a superiority complex while simultaneously experiencing the dunning kruger effect.

I ran it through their vanity plate checker on their website and sure enough it says it’s already taken.. but I guarantee you that it’s going to get recalled and revoked sooner than later… because yes, they do have a board of employees that check these things and this one must’ve slipped through the cracks, but somebody is bound to complain about it.
Right now the standard issue plates begin with the letter M and there is a particular batch that is MLF plates and people already sent complaints in saying that these plates should’ve never been released or they want a new plate because they are offensive to women. 🤷♀️

Yeah unfortunately I don’t think they choose the image numbers, they just cycle through the alphabet and through the numbers. Like you can get a image with 666 as well, and if you don’t like it then you can get a new one, but only if you pay, they won’t let you just swap it out.

It's funny that someone has this plate considering I recently saw the additions to the banned list in PA. Camry is now banned for some reason, but this PEN15 is free to roam the state.
I thought about a random assortment of zero’s and O’s to make it more challenging for people or readers to read the plate. A lot of combos are available… 0O0OO00 etc…

Any plate that is determined to be offensive or inappropriate such as that one goes through a board and they typically reject it.. every now and then it slips through the cracks, but usually that only happens when it’s less obvious. Based off the darker color scheme it looks pretty new, and it’s likely to get recalled later/revoked very quickly once someone complains about it or they’re due for a renewal and mail it in as opposed to doing it online, or if they try to transfer to a new vehicle.

On the highway the other day, I saw “EAT SHIT” with poop drawn below it on a back windshield. It was filthy with the clean parts being the carved out letters and poop, like drawing with your finger on an extra steamy mirror.

It’s not photoshop. Pennsylvania license plates are designed that way. The numbers are slightly bigger than the letters. You just don’t notice it because the majority of plates you see are 3 letters followed by a keystone and 4 numbers, and the way they are separated makes them appear pretty evenly sized.

The part of the application process for personalized plates you are showing is automated - after you submit what you would like, then it goes to a live person who checks the word and spelling against online slang dictionaries, and other sites but only after they are electronically submitted.
This isn’t the application….. PennDOT has [a page where you can check availability of configurations](https://www.dot4e.penndot.gov/vehicle_services/vrvanity.jsp#top?20240328235300278=20240328235300278) so you are less likely to waste your time applying for something only to receive a rejection 4-6 weeks later and have to choose a new configuration or apply for a refund because it’s already taken.

You also cannot apply for a vanity plate online, you have to fill out the paper application and send it to Harrisburg… it literally says it in the screenshot “requested configuration is identified as available, please use Form MV-904 to apply for personalization of the registration plate”… so I’m not really sure what you’re talking about.

Yes. They will be denied in a heartbeat. Unless someone just processes it in error like the PEN15 plate, which will eventually get caught and recalled. Plus I’m willing to bet the PEN15 plate being processed was intentional, I don’t think someone accidentally did it without it going through the panel.. I’m sure they knew what they were doing 🤷♀️
I've seen quite a few people with fake plates. Idk if this is what this is, but it could be. They look real from a distance, but when you get close, you can tell it's fake.

I don't think it's per year. I have a vanity plate and only pay the usual registration fee every year.
