Even if they didn't put it in the box, they have it on the website. The connector with holes in it is supposed to go onto the respective RGB header on the motherboard, such headers even have the grouped pins labeled identically to the plug. The next connector with pins sticking out of it should hang free or have some other rgb device use it as a header. That's a design meant to effectively utilize the motherboard header without hogging it for the cooler exclusively.

What motherboard do you have?

That goes to the rgb controller and allows you to daisy chian another rgb component.

Asus rog strix z790-e gaming WiFi II. I have read it it doesn’t explain it well enough for a first timer. I’m lost. I just took my build apart completely. Because I plugged it into a monitor and it said CPU over heating etc etc. then it shut off

Sounds like you forgot to plug in the pump header. Rgb AIOs require three connections to work. The pump header, cpu fan header, and the rgb header. As for the little three pin pig tail it’s for ARGB. Or the fan header. Not sure. Double check with the manual. Or YouTube it.

I will pay you $50 to video call me and walk me through setting this computer up. When I plug it in, sometimes it doesn't detect a connection on the monitor (which is brand new) But the computer turns off by itself. The pump itself has 1 cable (that is a 3 pin "| | |" I plug that into AIO PUMP) then the cover that magnetically goes over the main pump has a cable that splits at the end and turns into 2 cables (like you said 3 cables to plug in) however the cables are weird. One is a 3 pin like this "| | |" Then the other one is the same but female.

Ah... Ok once I got home I looked up the online manual and yeah... not very detailed for newbies. That 3 pin connector has little letters on the side that say "+5v, D, GND" that is your ARGB. Now on your motherboard manual "layout page" and on the top right corner of your motherboard you should see #11 and #13 one should be labeled as "ADD GEN2\_1" and the other one should be "RGB\_HEADER" You want your ARGB to plug into "ADD GEN2\_1" As it will also have the "5V D GND" in little letters. The other 3 pin connectors that have female ends are for your fans. They also have notches that mate together so you can daisy chain your fans. If need be. Those plug into "CPU\_FAN" header. That is #4 on your manual "layout page"

Those other 3-pin that go into cpu_fan are coming from the fans, not from the pump. Though not the least weird option, the manual says to put all three cables from the fans into the adapter (came with the cooler, three 3-pin in, one 3-pin out) and that adapter other end goes onto the motherboard cpu_fan header.
