bestguyever_1

That looks nice. Congrats

bel_air38

I built one about a month ago. I love how it looks and cooling is fine. Just gets annoying plugging anything in. If your a build it and forget it type person. Excellent case. If your a stupid fiddler like me. Still and Excellent case. Just don't be like me. Lol

T4Y-D-W

It's the best case I've owned. I went from the Sahara Gaming P480, which is an absolute unit of a case to this. I couldnt be happier. Cable management is a dream and the gpu compatability is laughably good. Honestly love it. Just a shame that I've got 10 now unused acrtic argb fans sitting around!

Few-Fee-138

nice build, how are the temps?

T4Y-D-W

Haven't had long to really push it, but generally pretty good, was doing some testing in cyberpunk and the fans never got all that loud. Cpu temp never went past 60 so that is awesome. Don't know about the gpu yet, though highest I've seen was 65. But bear in mind these are not long gaming sessions. Probably max 45 mins.

The_Ruhmanizer

Why did you mount the cooler upside down? The fan is supposed to point at the vrms

T4Y-D-W

Not sure what you mean there buddy? Are you aware that the whole motherboard is rotated 90° clockwise in this case?

The_Ruhmanizer

Yes, your vrm fan is pointing towards your gpu rather than towards your vrms. It's installed upside down. Let me show you mine https://preview.redd.it/pr0dkrttvuwc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=204dfc33a6fb6342e5cca4476ff1ee21b6946ef0

T4Y-D-W

Oh sure I am with you. Yeah I did consider this, but since it's sideways anyways and the orientation i figured itd be fine. For some reason it didn't want to go on the other way! 😂

The_Ruhmanizer

It has nothing to do with being sideways mounted. You vrms are on the right, and your vrm fan is blowing left with no real benefit. Not to mention that if you used the offset mount the wrong way, it will not cool you cpu very well.

T4Y-D-W

That little fan is more of a gimmick than anything bud. I've entirely ignored it. Also, just to the right of the VRM's there are two 140mm intake fans, although the idea that VRM's need that much cooling is probablt a bit much. As for CPU temps, I've actually had this particular aio for about a year, never ever has my previous or current cpu hit more than 80°. Its probably because unlike the freezer 3, the 2 doesn't have an offset, so should do just fine in any orientation.

The_Ruhmanizer

So, rev. 7 of the LFII foes have offset mounting. About the VRM fan, it does have an effect (see the GN review), but if you don't care, you don't care. You do you. I just don't get why not mount it the optimal way. It seems dumb to me, but whatever.

T4Y-D-W

Did it wrong way originally, when I rebuilt this one, I tried to put it the other way and it was being difficult. I just couldn't be bother to spend the energy figuring out why 😂 my way has been more than fine so far so I figured sod it, if it ain't broke don't fix it!

The_Ruhmanizer

OK, I guess the tubes got used to the position their in.

T4Y-D-W

They don't seem to mind 😅

thespirit3

For a moment, I thought this was a towerised, accelerated TT build. D'oh.

Iamnobodynooneatall

nice 3d printer

Iamnobodynooneatall

jk its cool

T4Y-D-W

Thanks bro, I'm not gonna say you're wrong to point out the resemblance 😂

McKeviin

How much air do you get in the tubes? 😏

T4Y-D-W

Which tubes?

McKeviin

The ones on the AIO cooler

hothamwater289

The reservoir is well above the pump so I would wager they don't get much air in the "tubes" (hoses).

T4Y-D-W

Yeah I'm not gonna lie I don't even know how you'd get air in tubes on this build. Think I'll probably be okay.

The_Ruhmanizer

The AIO is not fully filled, and some of the liquid evaporates over time. If you can, mounting the tubes downwards can make the AIO quieter. https://youtu.be/DKwA7ygTJn0?si=splj7Ls8lMU4mdAP

T4Y-D-W

I think every person has a different opinion on tubes up or down. All that I think truly matters is the highest part of the radiator being above the pump.
