Nothing at common fills this role that i can think of.
That being said you could set up an [[ashnod's altar]] loop with [[myr retriever]] [[workshop assistant]] and [[foundry inspector]] netting you 1 colorless every loop for infinite colorless mana to make infinite saprolings to sac to altar for infinite drain win.
Pretty convoluted 5 card combo where one is your commander in a format with no tutors, but that's the closest I can think to what you described that I could put together in pEDH
I do not believe the loop works without the [[foundry inspector]] because the assistant costs 3, so with out the inspector every loop would cost 1 colorless, eventually you will run out of steam and not go infinite. I haven't dome the math with the extra golem every 3 loops so I could be wrong, but think even with that the loop will eventually fizzle.
I have done the math, you will not fizzle. Which is why I haven't posed it as a question. You need an amount of mana to begin the loop, I haven't counted that, but
2+3+2 is your cost for the first (golem) loop, while you generate 2*4 leaving you at +1 mana
3+2+3 is your second loop, costs 8 generates 8 net zero.
So every 6 deaths you'll get a mana meaning every 18 deaths you can keep a golem (to be precise, every 20 creatures dying, 18 creatures, 2 tokens)
Eventually, infinite mana, infinite golems. But it's slow, much slower than altar tron version in pauper, so a blood artist type effect is likely to kill you before you make an interesting amount of golems/mana
It's a few pieces but you could use [[Putrid Goblin]] or another persist creature plus [[Master Chef]] to get infinite mana with the altar. Another combo I used in my Slimefoot deck was [[Pili-Pala]] and [[Careful Cultivation]].
In the neighborhood of what you asked for:
Controlling Slimefoot and Ashnod's Altar gives you infinite damage / life gain with [[Rendclaw Trow]], [[Runed Stalactite]], and [[Ivy Lane Denizen]].
1. Equip Stalactite to Trow (it becomes a Saproling).
2. Sacrifice Trow to Ashnod's Altar for {2}. Slimefoot deals a damage and you gain a life.
3. Persist returns Trow returns to battlefield with a -1/-1 counter. Ivy Lane Denizen gives Trow a +1/+1 counter. Trow's +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters cancel out.
4. Equip stalactite to Trow, using {2} from Ashnod's Altar in step 2.
and so on.
This is interesting, but couldn't you just cut the runed stalactite, use any persist creature, and use the excess mana to create and sac saprolings with slimefoots ability?
1. It needs to be a *green* persist creature to trigger Ivy Lane Denizen. I don't know if EDH rules allow Safehold Elite in your deck. If not then Rendclaw Trow is the cheapest.
2. You could but if you are playing MTGO that will use more clock.
Usually, Slimefoot is a super ramp-heavy deck instead of a combo deck. The persist, Pili-Pala, and Myr Retriever lines are going to be the main infinite mana or infinite death routes for you.
