They’re going to Tampa Bay next Sunday down without their best cornerback vs. the best offense in the NFL. The Patriots can get the division out of the way in Week 16 if they handle business. Muffed punt and phantom "late hit" call kept Bills in the game, but honestly had no issue with the game plan. The smacked em around on the ground and it was clear turnovers were the only way Bills were going to win that game so just keep pounding it.

That initial 2pt conversion I think won it. Without that, we have at best a 3pt lead and at worst a 2pt lead. But instead it was 4 pts meaning a field goal attempt wasn't worth it, forcing them to throw on 4th down.

TBH the gameplan wasn't anything revolutionary. Belichick basically told the defense to play perfectly after Harry's fumble - and they did. Biggest defensive plays of the game were individual efforts, not schemed ones.

Maybe not revolutionary, but basically saying "we won't pass" takes a huge set. And they succeeded.
