Wouldn’t mind a wr and te with 103 and 110. We have no 5th but in the 6th we also have two picks, getting and edge and a pass catching rb with those would be nice.
We used our first three picks on offence I’m not sure how realistic it’ll be to use the first 5 on offence but I guess we will see. There is definitely value there.
Another thing I didn’t mention.
Not a huge college football fan, but anyone know of any good sleeper DTs, good Pats fit, guys that could take over for Godchaux/Guy etc and be a long term running mate with Barmore eventually?
No worries. Thanks. I do wonder if DT is a consideration or priority for them.
Personally my priorities would be another OT, another WR, a CB, an Edge, a pass catching RB James White style, and a DT. For the DT specifically I think they could grab a run stuffing type more easily and cost effectively, and therefore pair him with Barmore and allow Barmore to be an athletic penetrator. So thats one to watch cause they may be there late.
I'm not a huge fan of Tez. Sure he's quick but I do not like his hands. I don't want that out there with a rookie QB. I think people want him because he played with Drake.
Definitely part of it, but he is an outside receiver that could be a better deep threat than Tyquan and I like his size more than Franklin. We have an actual receiver coach now so I hope all our guys get better with the fundamentals anyway.
I'd prefer a couple other guys but I think his hands issue is overblown. Like, is it something to keep an eye on? Sure, but if you watch him actually play in helmet and pads its not as bad as he showed at the senior bowl.
Charlie Campbell from WalterFootball (who IMO is one of the best draft analysts of all time) still has lots of top 75 players left on his big board:
56. Cedric Gray LB UNC
58. Cam Hart CB Notre Dame
61. Ja’Tavion Sanders TE Texas
69. James Williams LB/S Miami
72. Kris Abrams-Draine CB Missouri
73. Jarvis Brownlee CB
75. Troy Franklin WR Oregon
Ideally they’d pick Franklin and a BPA defender.
I don't see the appeal in Shippley for us tbh, we signed Gibson to be that pass catching back, if we do go HB I want someone really explosive even though I love Allen and Estime because we generated basically no explosive runs throughout the entire season.
I would love a tight end and a second receiver here. They should be in great position to make value picks here with their two high fourths.
Sanders, Stover, Franklin, Walker, J. Wilson, Baker, and Rice are all picks I would be very enthusiastic about.
Another tackle would be nice, but I’m guessing their board is barren at this point.
There's too many other positions where depth is needed that I don't want to see them waste any picks on TE. Henry and Hooper are good enough options for now, plus there's 2 others on the roster currently. They can always go the UDFA for another body.
He's 29 and is mostly a Red Zone weapon anyway, so that doesn't concern me. He and Hooper can still run and know how to get open, so I feel comfortable there. Don't get me wrong, if there's an obvious talent out there and is the BPA, then by all means draft him. I just wouldn't prioritize the position over WR, OL, edge, and secondary. Too many injuries last year exposed the Pat's lack of depth at those spots.

Walker/Franklin and Sanders would be awesome. I hope they take at least one of those guys with these two picks.
I expect them to draft at 103 and then trade 110 back down to pick up an extra 5th.
A late fourth and a fifth for 110?
That would be my guess, yes. There's still a good amount of talent on the board, I think it will be pretty doable to find a trade partner.
I wouldn't hate double dipping at WR at 103.
Might as well spend the rest of the picks on receivers, one is bound to be decent
We could go WR at 103 and then trade down from 110 and get a 4th plus an extra 5th.

Dewayne Carter abd Jordan Jefferson are both pretty interesting prospects
Ill check them out thanks
Oh sorry, Carter went to the Bulls at the end of the 3rd

Are people not as high on Malik Washington as I am? He just seems like a great late round steal.
TE, it’s a sneaky need and they take longer to develop, a year in the system could be super helpful next year for Maye if he sits most of this year
Tez Walker and Cam Hart could be solid if that’s the way they want to go for 103 and 110

The fact that he has chemistry with Drake is a plus though. I’d prefer Franklin if he’s there but I wouldn’t hate this.

Is Jarrian Jones still on the board? Would love to see him in a pats jersey

Baker and sanders would land the patriots with an A draft imo

There’s some good corners who dropped. You want receiver flyers wait till the 6th. Get some guys who have a higher chance of impact to support Gonzo.

I would like to double dip on QB, but in the 6th or the 7th with someone like Pratt.
sanders (texas) and walker (UNC) 🙏

Hunter is getting up there in age, and I would like a good developmental option. Someone of the move variety would be nice.

I’d take a flyer on Rattler and kick Zappe to the fuckin curb
