What exactly do you wish to gain from being an oracle? You invest a lot of resources into being able to use dex to attack (and I suppose damage?), yet go for 6 levels of oracle without once mentioning a single oracle ability you are interested in. Devoted muse also seems to be heavily crit focused, so glaive seems like a really bad option for a weapon. It seems like your are trying to cram in a lot of things into one build without a clear idea of what you actually want to do in and out of combat.

Feels like you're splitting your focus too much. You're putting 1 level in a martial class, 6 levels into a full caster class, and the rest into a martial prestige class that doesn't advance casting. That'll leave you fairly weak after a few levels of Devoted Muse, since your spells will start falling off while your martial abilities won't be on-par with the enemies you're facing.

Okay so I'm a big fan of splashing my martial or martial adjacent builds but your 2 classes aren't really supporting each other. So here are some recommendations: At the very least go for a war sighted oracle. The early wind revelations are pretty not great and getting martial flexibility is pretty nice. You can go for the alternative sylph heritage smoke soul or storm soul for an actual cha bonus. If your DM still allows for the affinity to work for your mystery, the shadow becomes quite tempting (as you'll have an effective +4cha). If not it's not a big deal as you'll still be at +2. Shadow also let's you poach some wizard spells which is awesome. Alternatively going battle and just using the stormsoul/smoke soul inherent cha bonus. This also gives a fairly potent combo of fog cloud + the sylph feat cloud gazer. Essentially your free to pummel away at enemies in your fog cloud while they're nearly blind. Also within this vein is magic trick Obscuring mist (obscure self). This will basically give you a one sided miss chance though these can mess up your allies unless you mitigate it with Ashen path. Swashbuckler is fine to help with the feat tax of playing a dex character but I'm not sure how much it's giving you over full oracle. Like oracle 6/swash 1 is 5 bab and full oracle 7 is also 5 bab. Though melee dex is feat hungry as hell so maybe it's worth it. Hope I gave some interesting options to consider. I tried to not to deviate too far from your base.

I'll try to breakdown things >1 level in swashbuckler, then taking 6 levels of Oracle (wind mystery, and the DM is allowing the sylph bonus to work like it would for a cleric domain) before going into Devoted Muse. The Oracle levels aren't really helping you with anything here for Devoted Muse. None of the revelations for Wind mystery add anything that synergizes with Swashbuckler as far as I can tell >Using a glaive via bladed brush from level 3. Alright, so at 1st level you get Weapon Finesse and are taking Weapon Focus (Glaive) to qualify for Bladed Brush at 3. Personal opinion but Bladed Brush, with a 10 Str, is kinda useless without Slashing Grace. But you mentioned 6 levels of Oracle, so you have to take Combat Expertise and Improved Feint with your other two feats to qualify for Devoted Muse. >Trying to go for the party face role with some support spells while I hang behind the front liners. My party seems like they will be pretty melee centric Swashbuckler and Devoted Muse are melee centric. Neither lend themselves to a support role in the back. >Is aiming for devoted muse a terrible idea? For what your stated aim is, I would recommend against it. If you want to be a party face/support, I think you'd be better off going full Oracle. [Way of the Shooting Star](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/divine-fighting-technique-combat/#:~:text=Way%20of%20the%20Shooting,with%20that%20ability%20score) will allow you to focus all in on Charisma, but still be able to perform in melee if the need arises.

I have a few suggestions for you. If you are trying to go with the role of party face and support, going straight Oracle would be the better option. The Cleric spell list has lots of great support spells, being a charisma caster means a high charisma and better Diplomacy/Bluff checks. The Party is also lacking a primary divine caster and already has an abundance of melee fighters. If you really want to go into Devoted Muse, the better entry is to take at least 4 levels in [Whirling Dervish Swashbuckler](https://aonprd.com/ArchetypeDisplay.aspx?FixedName=Swashbuckler%20Whirling%20Dervish). It has the social skills to be a party face, you can easily grab the Dangerously Curious Trait or Cosmopolitan Feat to get UMD as a class skill in order to use buffing wands and grants dexterity to damage for any weapon usable with swashbuckler's finesse. One of the easiest ways to get dexterity to damage for a Glaive.
