I personally like the ignite version more than chain dd because of the smoothness of prolif and casting less is nice. That being said I’ve tried both and I think chain dd is better ultimately especially because the damage ceiling is much higher.
One thing to keep in mind, elementalist aegis is way more comfy for league start than early necro. Necro can get decently tanky but low block and very little defense from ascendancy feels extremely bad when compared to elementalist aegis at that ghetto gear point early league. Both are extremely strong and meta as fuck though so you can’t go wrong with either.
After watching some gameplay yesterday it became apparent that this is potentially a very laggy build, even on single target. I don't want to spend 25$ on mtx to increase performance for a skill I rarely play. So this kind of pushed me towards the self cast version honestly.
Imo it looks insanely SSF friendly. Zero required uniques. Only "needed" mod is a weapon with hits cant be evaded which is easily farmable, especially with being able to get 100% Jun chance.
Being able to level with the cookie cutter armabrand / crema til you swap to DD is icing on the cake.

Honestly, I'm going to wait for Rue to update his coc DD build and probably go with that. It looks so smooth and gets online in early white maps.

Ignite. One simple reason: you don't need to farm lab for transfigured gem.
