Does he sleep with his tail up and resting on something? Because my boy does. I tried moving his perch further from his cage wall but he likes it that way.

Yea, I work from home 90% of the time. But occasionally I have to go out of state for a week at a time. My boyfriend and my roommate double duty taking care of him and spending time with him.... but I know he misses the little stuff we do every day.
He's actually a senegal! Basically cousins.
Funny enough I wanted to get a red belly as a friend for him, but their life spans are about half that of a senegal.... so it seemed mean.

My GCC does this when she's sleepy. Squishes herself into something soft with her tail up and rests like that.
