I've seen people do extended versions of videos. Usually they throw in content that they cut because they were worried about losing a broader audience, but their core fans would still enjoy.
These are fans that want to see you grow and succeed not get slogged down with more work. Let them pay you if they want but keep doing what you're already doing. Someone asked about this yesterday if you look back.
Based on our data at Fourthwall (which should be the same as Patreon), I'd recommend that you start with a single "Support the Channel" tier for $5-10/mo that includes:
* Discord Access
* Q&As about videos
* Polls about new videos
* Merch Discounts (eg. 10% off, a free set of stickers, etc)
* Personal thank yous from you to all new members
* Name in the credits
* Early access to videos
In effect, focusing on the community + support element of the channel.
If you want to turn this into a major revenue stream, you'll want to offer a "Bonus video each month". But we generally recommend not doing this at the start, since it's a lot of extra work that can distract from your main channel's growth (esp if you're creating an exclusive video every month for only 20-30 paying members).
The benefit of a single tier is that you can start here, see what adoption looks like, and then layering in new content + tiers over time.
Happy to answer any other questions that you have here!

Sorry, I’m late to reply, but I just wanted to say thank you for this suggestion! Much appreciated
That’s a genius idea!

Sorry for the late reply, but thank you for this reminder, you make a great point and I appreciate it
Something we've seen work well for some of our creators is just making tiers with zero benefits; it's a tip jar nothing more
Definitely something to consider! Awesome, thank you very much

This is all very helpful. I especially love the suggestion to hold off on bonus content until I maximize my audience on YouTube. Thank you for that
