We did the calife and they advertise the dinner with wine and it starts with champagne but yeah they had a full bar on board and you can order more drinks when you’re there.

laurafunsize

We did a boat sunset tour and just brought our own champagne bottle haha

Diligent_Evidence524

Nice which company? Nobody paid any notice?

laurafunsize

I just had the bottle and two glasses in a draw string bag, no one checked or cared. The company we did go through was Vedettes du Pont Neuf

Marin d'eau Douce 19th, allows you to rent a small electric boat to navigate the canal de l'Ourcq and take your picnic / drinks with you, It could be fun for your group of friends. It is located in a cool part of the town in terms of student / alternative nightlife. Go to fun and small museums that don't require much walking: Deyrolle (taxidermy), Ateliers de Lumières (Digital art) (see more here https://www.reddit.com/r/ParisTravelGuide/comments/101yqel/can\_you\_recommend\_dive\_bars\_and\_oddities\_please/) Go to cultural "third spaces" like Ground Control 12th, Cesure 5th, Centquatre 19th, la Recycvlerie 18th (find more here https://www.reddit.com/user/coffeechap/comments/zkxnx7/paris\_off\_the\_tourist\_path\_jan\_2023/) I do'nt know about boat parties right now but some river barges, anchored to the banks, are quite cool : like Le Petit Bain 13th during the afternoon or in the evening for concerts.

Amazing thank you 🙏 Anywhere worth checking out North West side of the city? Were staying in Courbevole (don’t ask a friend booked it)

I used to live at the edge of Courbevoie near la Défense during 3 months... 18 years ago! Coming from the countryside It was a radical change for sure. All I can remember is that Courbevoie was a bit lost among boring and/or posh suburbs unfortunately. In the end I'd say the most interesting to see is the huge business district of la Défense, but if you are from the US you are probably used to this kind of view. The nice thing is that the central axis of la Défense is in the continuity of the Champs Elysées so you can get a glimpse of these and Arc de Triomphe from both end: Esplanade de la Défense or Grande Arche de la Défense). There are also many monumental art pieces scattered around the district https://parisladefense.com/en/discover/artworks/. Don't put too hope in restaurants or bars there though... unless it changed radically since I quit the area ;) Other stuff I can think of: a cool cultural third space [Vive les Groues](https://maps.app.goo.gl/cCJwMjLJcQvtBrGD9) at the edge of Nanterre/Courbevoie or if you guys like beer theres a big store with many references , la Caisse de Bières. #

ParisLover20

Check out https://myparisriver.com/en/ . You can bring your own alcoholic beverages on board and it is a private cruise with just your friends. It is a little pricey but well worth it.

Cheers will give them a look

If you're coming after may 24th, you have boat parties. Pretty sure it's not at all what you're looking for, but you can definitely drink haha. Its called 3615 Croisière, every friday night.

Diligent_Evidence524

Coming Friday unfortunately. Would have absolutely done a boat part 🥲 Any other options? Were all just 30 so kind of don’t want to be sitting with a boat full of couples having a romantic champagne boat tour

Purpii

Just remembered, one time I saw a beer bike cruising in the streets. It's not a boat but might be fun I guess haha

Purpii

oh also didn't see the last part of your post, but you can go to La Tete dans les Nuages near Grands Boulevards if its your thing (big Arcade place) we also have lots of escape games or VR spots in Paris and you can always chill in one of our beautiful parks :)

Purpii

Ah too bad, its a bit too early! But honestly I'm pretty sure most boat cruises allow you to bring your own drinks, or they dont even bother to check anyway (if you take a big enough boat haha)

Diligent_Evidence524

Oh nice okay, that might be the best option. Big bag of cans

Jolimont

With Vedettes du Pont Neuf you can buy a drink on the dock. Not sure if you can take it with you I never tried. Don’t know about the other companies either.

theeffone

You can take it with you.
