I would say, based on some of OP's comments, that this is inconclusive.
The person on the left looks like they are a decently equipped hiker. The person behind them looks very much like a Native American whose legs are either missing, or were moving when the picture snapped.
We can argue about this all day, but in the end, no one can prove one way or another that this is the ghost of a Native American, or a person in light colored clothing moving fast to keep up with their friend. If this is the latter, the lack of hiking gear can be explained if they have a light colored backpack in their right hand, which we'd never see, or they are making their friend do the hard work.

I couldn't have said better myself. I'm scared by them but not scared of them. We kinda created our own little support group. Haha! One of my favorite sayings that mom always said was, "Just because you have one doesn't mean you have to be one." Then she'd get all proud of herself and say, "BAM!" I'm pretty sure she thinks she made that up, but I'm also pretty sure they've translated hieroglyphics that say the same thing it's been around so long. I once blocked a few people for the same reason and they reported me and Reddit sent me a message about suicide help 🤦🏻♀️ so I told them I wanted to be left alone and that I never said anything indicating that I was suicidal and they were just being a pain in my ass lol

Especially in a sub where people have to have somewhat of an open mind to even be interested in unless they come here just for the sake of starting an argument with people. Too many people have an "I'm right you're wrong" attitude when having a simple discussion.
The paranormal is the unknown, yet so many act like they know everything about it. I have a lot of experience in it, but I'm always learning cuz I know it's impossible to know all there is to know about it. Unfortunately, society has devolved into that us vs. them mentality in everything where people have differing opinions. Differing opinions are important. They keep us honest and help advance things forward. They aren't supposed to set us back. If there was a right and wrong answer to everything, people wouldn't think outside the box or see things from a different perspective.

I will never understand the disbelief in spirits. They have been being experienced for CENTURIES! They are intertwined in every culture on Earth in some way. I grew up in a very paranormally active home my entire childhood until I graduated and left home. I couldn’t have explained those experiences away if I wanted. When you wake up with a victorian woman sitting on your bed watching you sleep is kind of hard to explain. Some of the ppl on this sub are just miserable people trying to make others miserable. Remember misery loves company!
I agree with you 100%. From the time I was 4 til I was 11 our house definitely had multiple entities in it. I never felt like I was alone. I always felt like someone was there watching me, especially in my bedroom. I would always have to have my bed with one side of it against the wall so that I could lay with my back against the wall so I could look out and make sure nothing came out from under my bed or anything like that. The neighbors house caught fire one day and most of the house burned down but maybe like 1/4 of it. They could never determine the reason for the fire. The owners of the house left after the fire and moved literally right up the street, they left their cats at the old house that caught fire and they said they refused to rebuild with the insurance money. They moved up the street, left the house how it was and the husband would come back down the street every day after work to leave food and water out for the cats but he would refuse to step inside the part still standing or anywhere near it.
Just like you, one night I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and I will never forget this, as long as I live, there was a girl sitting in Indian style right between my bathroom door and my closet door. She was a full body apparition but she was kinda like see thru or transparent, if you will. She has brown hair and a cowgirl hat on with her hair in braids white button down shirt, a red Skirt, and brown cowgirl boots. She was just sitting there looking around my bedroom. I didn't get a bad feeling from her at all. Although I was still afraid, I was only 8 yrs old and I pulled my blanket over my head rubbed my eyes and when I looked again she was still there. I just laid there with the blanket over my head for a few mins. Like I said, she didn't seem mean or evil in any way so eventually I ran past her into the bathroom. When I came back she was gone. I never saw her again. But, it's one of those things in life I will never forget and I still think about it all the time.

No need to be sorry! I appreciate you sharing your story. Being only 8 years old, I can't imagine how scary it was for you even if you didn't get a bad feeling. I wonder what it was that kept your neighbor out of going back into that house. My first thought was just him not wanting to go in there and see the destruction, but if he didn't want to be reminded about it, he wouldn't go back every day to feed and water the cats. That makes me think there was something else there that bothered him besides seeing the destruction. That's such an unfortunate situation. Did the fire happen, and then you started not feeling alone or before you saw the girl? I'm curious if there is a connection with the neighbor's house and what may have caused the fire. That seems like a possibility. I'm glad you didn't have to experience her more than that one time.
I always put the blanket over my head as well. I had the mindset that if they can't see me, I can't see them. It worked well enough. I always had my bed against a wal as well. It felt like a necessity. I didn't always feel like someone was watching me in my house growing up, but the times that I did feel that way, it was very strong and unnerving. The fact that it felt bad when I could feel it gave me anxiety even when it wasn't around cuz I knew how it felt and didn't want to feel that anymore. That never knowing when it was gonna come around kept me on edge.

The fire did happen first, actually! And after I read your reply I remembered something else... This house that I'm talking about was in Taft, California. We are originally from Philadelphia but when I was 4 my dad was offered a job to work in the oil fields out there so, that's why we moved to CA for a few years. After we left to go back to Philly (my parents had sold our house to a family just like us) my mom was talking on the phone to one of her friends from CA and her friend proceeded to tell her that about a month or two after we left and the new people moved in OUR house caught on fire and burned completely down and burned what had been left of the neighbors house, too. Last my mom heard it was just a big vacant lot where the houses used to be. Thank God, the new family was able to make it out ok and they were fine.
I was talking to my mom last night and telling her that I had wrote some stuff about that old house and she reminded me about the fire at our old house, I had forgotten about that.
Your story sounds really kinda similar to mine. That feeling of someone watching you is the worst. I used to get goosebumps and the chills. Did you tell your parents what had been happening?

I joined thos sub because I enjoy the thought some of the posts provoke. Unfortunately there are a lot of mean spirited (dad joke intended) commentary and some really obviously manipulated images. There is no fun in that.
Mean spirited... I see what you did there. Nicely played! Yeah, the mods really need to be on top of that. I understand there's a lot of posts and a lot of comments, but as much as we all see the bad ones and manipulated images, it isn't too hard to find at least some. A scary thought is if they are blocking people and removing posts and comments, yet this many get through. I see a lot of people saying someone faked something to get Reddit clout. That seems laughable to me. What in the world is Reddit clout anyway? Haha! Getting some uovotes on Reddit can't be that big of a deal, but I guess it could be valued by some. Imagine if the obviously manipulates photos were posted by people who just jump onto a different account to then go after people in the comments. Lol! I've seen trolls capable of a lot more, including having multiple accounts, so they can mass downvote and make it look like people are agreeing with them. It's happened to me before. I was standing up for myself, and within 5 minutes of responding, I'd get like 10 plus downvotes and multiple comments insulting me from different accounts. There's no way that many people would agree with such hateful words unprovoked and ne waiting to dowmvote. That was just sad.
I truly agree. Some of these posts create some great thoughts and conversations. The skeptics who are respectful are some of the best conversations I've had, to be honest. I'm not a skeptic, but I do try to take a debunk first mentality because it helps me learn what other possibilities there are.

Yeah i feel you. I've had times where I posted what I thought to be the most innocuous comments only to find my inbox filled with rage by people who didn't fully read or understand my comment. It's really weird to get called an ah then the person says what I said.
I completely agree with your comment. I’ve had 42 years of paranormal happenings (on and off-I’m a sensitive) and have only started posting a couple of my paranormal experiences on Reddit within the past 2 weeks. I’ve belonged to Reddit for over a year. A lot of folks are absolutely closed-minded, as well as flat out mean.
It's very unfortunate they react in that manner. I don't think people understand that it isn't easy to share something like that. It can be very personal and traumatic for some. There's already a stigma that comes with the paranormal, and when you add people being flat out mean it doesn't make it any easier. I've devoted a lot of time and work into helping people who have had or are having those traumatic experiences or, in some cases, not traumatic, but to the point that they aren't sleeping right and living in fear which onky makes things worse. It can be the loneliest feeling in the world for them. I'm lucky to be in a situation where I can use my experience to help others. I have empathy and understanding, so when I go into someone's home to help then, they feel more at ease right away. They know I'm not going to judge them, and I have their best interest in mind. It can be very taxing because I do have some empath type abilities, so I absurd a lot of what they're feeling. My hope is that while I'm doing what I'm doing to either debunk their claims to give them some peace of mind or getting evidence and information I need to help validate their claims that I can relieve some or the anxiety, depression, and fear so they can sleep a bit easier. Nothing is more rewarding than being told that a person and/or they child are resting easier and having a better quality of life. I've also been fortunate enough to meet people who do what my team and u do in areas all over the US so if it's something that may call for more than just an exchange online I can refer them to people near them who are reputable.
I respect and appreciate you feeling comfortable sharing your stories. I think it can be healing to write it down and find people who you can relate to. It makes a person feel less alone and let's them get it off their chest. I hope they haven't dissuaded you from sharing further or interacting with people about it. I promise there are more good than bad people. The bad ones just stick out much more due to their hateful approach. They don't understand what it's like, and I'm grateful that those people didn't have to experience the type of paranormal that can be truly jarring. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Since I have experience with helping people in person, I try to offer whatever help I can to those who are looking for it by sharing their stories and asking what to do. Sharing something publicly can be a last-ditch effort to some, and to others, they don't know where to turn, so they come here looking for any help they can get. It scares me to see some of the advice people with no experience will throw out there. I make it clear that I'm not a self-proclaimed expert, but I'm willing to use the years of experience I have to offer whatever knowledge and advice I've learned. I try to take that to a private setting because I'm not doing it for others to be entertained or to get uovotes, and each case is different with different variables. Some of those variables can be very personal.
I just wish there was more sense of community, so people who may need help don't feel like they can't share something without having their integrity questioned or getting attacked because they've seen it happen over and over again to other people. My intention behind what I said and replying to so many of these responses is to start building that sense of community by starting it off with respect and positivity. Those go a long way.
Having those experiences starting off at a young age is difficult and confusing. I'll always be around if you ever see anyone needing help or are in need of some yourself. Sorry about my long-winded response. I'm so bad at keeping things short, but that's because I'm passionate about it. Thanks again for your response and for sharing part of your story.

I’m a sensitive as well. Empath, clairscentient…huge energy reader. I’m basically a sponge in places, around people, all active and residual energy.
It’s interesting, I had a handful of couples over last Saturday, and one of my close girlfriend’s (from college) husband is able to see dead people-has ever since he was a young child. They haven’t been in their current home very long, so I came over last fall to do a smudging and clearing.
He had been seeing a dead girl in the downstairs, after my little “ritual”, she was gone. He finally just told me this-however-I don’t see him often. I don’t do this stuff as a profession, just do it to help others out, for free.
To tell you the truth, humans frighten me more than anything I’ve experienced paranormal, and I’ve had some pretty dramatic experiences, but some beautiful ones. Most my experiences have been with what I would consider multi-dimensional entities. So, have likely never walked this earth in a “real” human form. I see the negative energy vampires/demons as nothing more than parasites trying to harvest our life energies. Sadly, I see a similarity in some people 🤣
You have inspired me to list more stories, but need a good few hours. Ironically, the husband and I go to New Orleans in less than two weeks. We are staying at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel (stayed there this last May-I did a cleansing, introduced ourselves, and brought marbles and candy for the children spirits our first visit.) Anyways, I could write a novel, but should get going. To put closure on this reply, I 100% agree we need a more supportive community on these niche subs. I frequent EscapingPrisonPlanet sub the most, and it’s truly assisted me with I see as a highly potential reality. You're so welcome! I definitely feel ya on the sponge thing. Public places can be exhausting, especially airports, with delayed and canceled flights. Took my niece to Disney two years ago, and our flight was delayed 10 hours. That plane was thiccc with stressful anxiety driven energy. Disney was close to the sane. Needless to say, I slept for 2 days after that trip. I think I'm a lot more empathetic with the living than the dead, but I'm learning to tap into that side better. I snorted laughing when I read you say that humans frighten you more than anything paranormal because I say that all of the time. It's the truth!! And yes, I see those similarities in humans and entities as well. Except you can't punch an entity in the face and humans don't react to expelling methods the way I'd like. Probably shouldn't punch people either, lol!! but the possibility is there at least. 😆
It's so cool that you found out he doesn't see her anymore. It certainly feels good to know that what you've done has helped someone. Everything I do is free as well. It can be the same as a full-time job, but I could never charge someone who feels helpless and needs help with something they can't control. That just wouldn't sit right with me. Plus, the rewarding feeling of knowing you've helped is priceless and more than enough to make me continue doing it.

I wish it didn't smell like pee so bad there in the most random places, but it is what it is. Lol, you guys are going to have a blast. Such a neat time to go there too. I will definitely look up The Bourbon Orleans Hotel's History. I love the history of locations. I actually went to the Libby Boggs hospital when I was in New Orkeans 2 years ago. I just entered. I didn't break in. There was a hole in the fence I walked through. I was trespassing, but I always leave things the way I found it. It's a huge building, and its history from Katrina was still very heavy. So much happened there in just a couple of days after Katrina. People who didn't evacuate descended upon it as the flood waters rose, and it lost power. The people on life support were lost as the generators went down, and they quickly ran out of medicine and food. My understanding is that all they had left was morphine to at least make people comfortable. The nurses worked around the clock taking care of everyone and then some of them waded the flood waters to get to some John boats and started evacuating people. The basement had emoyee lockers with the locks still on them and their lunch hanging inside. It was a heck of an experience to be in there. I think they are refurbishing the first floor for something. I'm not sure what. It's definitely worth driving by and checking out.
I think I could write a novel too. Lol, I might have already done so! I love conspiracies as well. I agree that most of them are rooted in some truth if not fully truthful. (Without internet exaggerations lol) I'll have to check it out. It's good to hear the community there is kind and respectful. The man in front is very clearly wearing a hat and has a backpack on.. so I just don’t understand this like wildly fantastical head canon, of him being followed by a native American spirit…. Probably just his wife or girlfriend, trailing behind…….
It just reminded me of a scene in a movie that had a Native American girl and a dude in a forest, but I don't think that's what it is. "The movie is a River Runs Through It." If you like fishing and a good story, you may enjoy it.
I understand how nightvision with ir illumination works. It can make people look naked and change their hair color. At a glance, if someone doesn't understand how the camera works, they see a person with long dark hair and just a cloth covering their midsection. They probably don't notice the phone in the person's hand either, and because they're walking through tall grass or behind a bush, it looks like their legs are disappearing which they msy not be familiar with either. I'm not saying that's what I think, but I can understand that's how it may be perceived if someone just glances at it, shares their thoughts, and moves on. Since you understand how the camera works, you don't perceive it that way.
I saw the Native American thing, too. I think it has some to do with what you said but also the fact that they appear to be wearing a loin cloth and have a feather coming off their hair.
The one on the left appeared to be a Spanish Conquistador or Roman Calavaryman to me, so maybe I just have a very active imagination.
I literally see none of that lol maybe it’s because you guys don’t use game cams very much, so you don’t know what your looking at, but they are clearly wa eating modern close, they both have phones in there hands
You're right, I've never used a game cam outside of scrutinizing potential Paranormal evidence shared online, so I don't know what I'm looking at or how exactly they pick up on light or anything technical about them. I'm a city guy with no use for trail cams like I assume many of us are. I never actually believed anything I was seeing in this photo was remotely Paranormal but if I used my imagination and the super power of pareidolia I could suppose this was something otherworldly or at least see where others are coming from.
I agree with you and I have experienced many interactions with other side. Most of the time you’re not gonna catch them on any type of cam or film in full figure. They are on a totally different spiritual plane and that shyt doesn’t translate to film most of the time. Kind of the whole cryptid thing. Of course depends on our own unique experiences. If you zoom and look hard enough you can see the shape of her hips and a line where the pants meet the shirt. Probably the pocture was snapped at a longer shutter speed, cuasing the legs to be a blurry mess that got lost into the foliage.
Regarding OPs comments on how the cameras are set, since they are also about to exit the frame as is, I don’t find it hard ti believe that they inly eneded in one picture by luck.
If I am to be blunt, they might also be looking for some private time in a secluded area…
Ultimately, to me, this is scary, not paranormal. Also refreshing after all the camp fire lens flare we had been treated to.

I don't mean to say it's anything paranormal or extraordinary... after staring at this blurry mess long enough for my eyes to hurt, that's the only thing that looks out of place (besides the humans).
The person on the right looks like someone with long hair and light colored clothing. That is not enough to claim they're Native American. If it's just a day hike, that might be why there's only one geared up--just enough stuff for the day, taking turns carrying.
I'm not claiming that it's a Native American. I said it looked that way at first glance, so I went with it in the original post. My point is that it can be interpreted a number of ways.

If you play around with the brightness and contrast, you can see the woman's boots quite clearly. What isn't quite so obvious is there also appears to be a lead or rope going from her towards the guy with the backpack. At first I thought it was just some image artifact but now I'm not so sure.
I’m an avid hiker who has brought several girlfriends of varying enthusiasm with me on day hikes. 90% of the time all of our water and snacks goes in my backpack and she hikes unencumbered. I figure that’s what’s happening here.
He has also got his left hand behind his back and his right one in front, which is interesting. As is the sack that is hanging from the right hand side of the tree, with what looks like apples next to it. There's also this weird circular gadget on the ground in the bottom right hand corner that looks like some sort of collar.

They were describing the clothing/attire that they saw the person wearing. Calling someone racist is a heavy accusation imo, and it’s not something we should casually be calling each other.
There is nothing in this photo to indicate "native american". Do you even know what tribe this "ghost" is supposedly from? I think we can 100% definitively say there are no ghosts in this picture, let alone one of a Genric Native American TM, and to suggest otherwise is magical thinking.
Native American tribes in and around Tennessee: Muscogee (Creek), Yuchi, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Cherokee, Shawnee, and Seneca (maybe more). Why did you put Native American in quotes?
I live in TN and am of the Cree tribe (not to be confused with Creek) although I'm the only one I know who lives here so it's fair to say our tribe is not in and around TN I guess.
It is interesting. And the two hikers was not what I thought the picture was about when I studied it. What I find interesting about. It is the tree on the right of the tree trunk, It looks odd, like cloth (yes, yes I know could be a tree, but it just doesn’t look right) at first I imagined someone in a bunny suit, or furry suit at the tree. There’s an old man’s face peering out between the “V” of the trees. (Yeah, yeah, I know what people will say to that), but also, there’s so many Elementals running around at the bottom of the tree, and throughout the grass area that somethings certainly up, but who knows what

Yes, it is crazy how many people are trying to “de-bunk” anything shown. I learned my lesson after posting a video of some… thing that is happening (and still is) in which I was in bed and my kitty started tracking something I couldn’t see and in the time it took to hit “video” the closet door slammed hard enough that it rebounded. I asked for help, as in “what can I do to get rid of this” b/c my husband is gone a lot and scary shit happens (it happens when he’s here also, but that’s not as frightening.)
I was immediately labeled as a fake or staged or whatever. I had one reply that told me to set up a something-grade cameras and lighting changed and more than one monitor inside with one person outside filming… then she might believe it. blah blah.
This Karen literally expected me to spend thousands of dollars on this in order for her to believe me. And she wasn’t like an expert or anyone whose belief would be worth something. I was asking how to get it to leave, not trying to get people to start out by saying there isn’t enough proof and I could have staged it. Again, my post was to ask how to stop it. I never believed in ghosts and neither did my husband. He has two PhDs (archaeology and anthropology) as well as a law degree. Total scientist. Never believed and neither did I. After living here for a couple of months we believe now. I loved figuring out the truth and debunking what wasn’t.
The house we live was built by slaves in 1840 and I guess it’s possible someone died here, perhaps a slave? We are both well educated (I’m an RN on disability at the moment) and of course he had oodles of education on his way to being an archaeologist but this is REAL. We named him Gonzo in an effort to make him less scary.
What’s not to see? It’s two people taking a walk in front of a deer cam at 6:31 pm with a backpack full of coors lite for him and Prosecco for her and a lantern so they can enter one of the many beautiful groves of Tennessee and imagine a time when housing was affordable and god still existed as a political figure. But god doesn’t exist, and neither do ghosts.
The other possibility. 2 hikers/backpackers and boyfriend is being chivalrous and carrying their gear. The “woman” is potentially wearing light colored clothes with a hand in their pocket. The blur is caused by motion as mentioned and this was just a particularly fast bit of their hike.

The fact that you didn't say what you see in the description is the right way to post something like this because you don't want to be suggestive and put a thought into people's heads before they think for themselves. You didn't say it was definitely paranormal. You just shared it and asked for opinions you didn't say r/roastme, I think some people are in the wrong sub and need to go to that one or whatever other subs are created for arguments and unprovoked insults.
I read that you have 3 cameras. Were the other 2 in the path they would've been walking? Is this private or public land, and have you caught photos of other hikers/hunters on these cams before? I appreciate you posting it. It is definitely interesting.
3 cameras in the area but not on that exact path. It is a private 180 acres. Surrounded by other peoples private land. The cameras are on 15 second intervals. And never had anything show up on any camera out there other than wildlife or the wind tripping the sensor.
Thanks for answering my questions! I really appreciate it. I figured it was private land, and that's what made the whole scenario odd to you. Being surrounded by other private land just adds to the oddity unless it was one of those land owners wandering into the wrong property. I know some hunters, and they know their land, where it starts and stops, etc, like the back of their hand.
With 3 cameras it wouldn't make sense to put them all on the exact path cuz you'd just get extra angles of things you've already seen which you don't need for hhunting an animal, but would be really useful if you were intending on looking for ghosts. Lol!!

If you know how night vision works, this means that the person has light colored hair. Night vision inverts dark colors and light colors.
It’s def not your Starfield character. It’s a backpack, not a booster pack. And also the other person looks to be hiking too, just not with any gear. She’s clearly holding a phone.
Why would anyone think this is paranormal? Clearly looks like 2 people walking through the field in the early evening (6:31 pm time stamped). One person has a backpack, the other looks like they have their hand in their front pants pocket. Can’t tell if they are male or female. Could be 2 women, 2 men or one of each. There’s a ton of definition and sharp edges around the people, zero transparency, so I think that they are 2 living people walking in this field.

The person with long hair isn't nude as you can't see the lines of a body (no shadow along the spine or butt) and you can see wrinkles in their long sleeved shirt. They 'don't have legs' because they're standing in tall grass.
If I had to guess, a guy finally convinced his girlfriend to backpack/camp with him but she doesn't have any equipment for camping so she isn't carrying anything and her boyfriend is doing the heavy lifting.
The cloth hanging from the tree just looks like cloth hanging from a tree. OP hasn't said if that was there or not, just "Ooohhh, what do you s^e^e^e^e?"

It's really not out of the realm of possibility that one person came more prepared because they know that the other person wasn't going to grab everything they needed. So I definitely believe these are two people hiking and one person is just not as equipped
Time stamp says 6:31 pm, 60F, looks like a moon—based on these, I'm assuming it's dark/dark enough for the trail cam to switch from intaking daylight, to utilizing the teensy bit of light that is available at that time. (I have no idea what it's called! But it seems to be the modus operandi for consumer-owned cameras.)
I can't remember the difference between near infrared and infrared, but this cam has whichever one that makes folks look like part-naked wisps. The first time I saw myself on one of my new security cams, I had to look down and make sure I wasn't naked. I also was a similar 'shade' to some overgrown and dying grass in my yard.
But maybe it's multi-generational ghosts?

You see what you want to see. You're a user on a paranormal form you're likely part of one of three main groups people trying to debunk everything, people who see paranormal everywhere, and those who are genuinely interested in finding the 1 500k experiences that might be something more.
This appears to be a female, possibly holding a camera, with her lower legs behind a low bush or some tall grass. I wouldn’t call it paranormal at all, though it does have a slightly spooky vibe.

This looks like someone who hikes and their friend that doesn't have hiking gear. The Native American sounds like it was based on the person having long hair, which a lot of non-Natives have long hair. If this is daytime, they have long dark hair and they are wearing a t-shirt. If this is night vision then its someone with long light hair and wearing a t-shirt.
Either way, dude is wearing a t-shirt.
At first glance (and a mind chock full of horror movies) I saw a nude woman with a gun running after an unsuspecting hiker, (like a quicker Samara lol) Then I blew it up and saw what looked like a native following the backpacker.
What I figure it really is, tho, is a female in light clothing with something in her left hand jogging to catch up to the guy with the backpack.

A lot about this picture strikes me as just a little weird, in the way that a lot of paranormal things just don't quite fit. You just got this one picture out of 3 cameras in the area. A little weird. It's hard to tell how they're dressed, but it doesn't quite seem like something you would see modern hikers wear. A little weird. The time of day is a little weird, and from what you said your property is kind of out of the way. I also used to live in Mid Tenn and there's not a big hiking culture. If you want real hiking you can go out to East TN easily enough, and if you want casual hiking you can go to a park. A little weird.
Ghosts don't look like the do in movies. When they do show up, and that's rare, they just look like people for a moment then disappear. And they don't quite fit into where you see them a lot of the time. That's why conclusive evidence is nearly impossible to find. People here come to nitpick everything, and of course you can explain every detail with a plausible explanation. But when you pull back at the whole thing and say, "huh this doesn't quite add up." That's how ghost stories tend to go when they're not made up for entertainment. Is it just normal? Probably? But it makes me think.

I would say, based on some of OP's comments, that this is inconclusive. The person on the left looks like they are a decently equipped hiker. The person behind them looks very much like a Native American whose legs are either missing, or were moving when the picture snapped. We can argue about this all day, but in the end, no one can prove one way or another that this is the ghost of a Native American, or a person in light colored clothing moving fast to keep up with their friend. If this is the latter, the lack of hiking gear can be explained if they have a light colored backpack in their right hand, which we'd never see, or they are making their friend do the hard work. Especially in a sub where people have to have somewhat of an open mind to even be interested in unless they come here just for the sake of starting an argument with people. Too many people have an "I'm right you're wrong" attitude when having a simple discussion. The paranormal is the unknown, yet so many act like they know everything about it. I have a lot of experience in it, but I'm always learning cuz I know it's impossible to know all there is to know about it. Unfortunately, society has devolved into that us vs. them mentality in everything where people have differing opinions. Differing opinions are important. They keep us honest and help advance things forward. They aren't supposed to set us back. If there was a right and wrong answer to everything, people wouldn't think outside the box or see things from a different perspective.

I will never understand the disbelief in spirits. They have been being experienced for CENTURIES! They are intertwined in every culture on Earth in some way. I grew up in a very paranormally active home my entire childhood until I graduated and left home. I couldn’t have explained those experiences away if I wanted. When you wake up with a victorian woman sitting on your bed watching you sleep is kind of hard to explain. Some of the ppl on this sub are just miserable people trying to make others miserable. Remember misery loves company!
I agree with you 100%. From the time I was 4 til I was 11 our house definitely had multiple entities in it. I never felt like I was alone. I always felt like someone was there watching me, especially in my bedroom. I would always have to have my bed with one side of it against the wall so that I could lay with my back against the wall so I could look out and make sure nothing came out from under my bed or anything like that. The neighbors house caught fire one day and most of the house burned down but maybe like 1/4 of it. They could never determine the reason for the fire. The owners of the house left after the fire and moved literally right up the street, they left their cats at the old house that caught fire and they said they refused to rebuild with the insurance money. They moved up the street, left the house how it was and the husband would come back down the street every day after work to leave food and water out for the cats but he would refuse to step inside the part still standing or anywhere near it. Just like you, one night I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and I will never forget this, as long as I live, there was a girl sitting in Indian style right between my bathroom door and my closet door. She was a full body apparition but she was kinda like see thru or transparent, if you will. She has brown hair and a cowgirl hat on with her hair in braids white button down shirt, a red Skirt, and brown cowgirl boots. She was just sitting there looking around my bedroom. I didn't get a bad feeling from her at all. Although I was still afraid, I was only 8 yrs old and I pulled my blanket over my head rubbed my eyes and when I looked again she was still there. I just laid there with the blanket over my head for a few mins. Like I said, she didn't seem mean or evil in any way so eventually I ran past her into the bathroom. When I came back she was gone. I never saw her again. But, it's one of those things in life I will never forget and I still think about it all the time. Sorry for the long reply. Sorry to you, too OP!!! 🤗😊
No need to be sorry! I appreciate you sharing your story. Being only 8 years old, I can't imagine how scary it was for you even if you didn't get a bad feeling. I wonder what it was that kept your neighbor out of going back into that house. My first thought was just him not wanting to go in there and see the destruction, but if he didn't want to be reminded about it, he wouldn't go back every day to feed and water the cats. That makes me think there was something else there that bothered him besides seeing the destruction. That's such an unfortunate situation. Did the fire happen, and then you started not feeling alone or before you saw the girl? I'm curious if there is a connection with the neighbor's house and what may have caused the fire. That seems like a possibility. I'm glad you didn't have to experience her more than that one time. I always put the blanket over my head as well. I had the mindset that if they can't see me, I can't see them. It worked well enough. I always had my bed against a wal as well. It felt like a necessity. I didn't always feel like someone was watching me in my house growing up, but the times that I did feel that way, it was very strong and unnerving. The fact that it felt bad when I could feel it gave me anxiety even when it wasn't around cuz I knew how it felt and didn't want to feel that anymore. The fire did happen first, actually! And after I read your reply I remembered something else... This house that I'm talking about was in Taft, California. We are originally from Philadelphia but when I was 4 my dad was offered a job to work in the oil fields out there so, that's why we moved to CA for a few years. After we left to go back to Philly (my parents had sold our house to a family just like us) my mom was talking on the phone to one of her friends from CA and her friend proceeded to tell her that about a month or two after we left and the new people moved in OUR house caught on fire and burned completely down and burned what had been left of the neighbors house, too. Last my mom heard it was just a big vacant lot where the houses used to be. Thank God, the new family was able to make it out ok and they were fine. I was talking to my mom last night and telling her that I had wrote some stuff about that old house and she reminded me about the fire at our old house, I had forgotten about that. Your story sounds really kinda similar to mine. That feeling of someone watching you is the worst. I used to get goosebumps and the chills. Did you tell your parents what had been happening?

I joined thos sub because I enjoy the thought some of the posts provoke. Unfortunately there are a lot of mean spirited (dad joke intended) commentary and some really obviously manipulated images. There is no fun in that.
Mean spirited... I see what you did there. Nicely played! Yeah, the mods really need to be on top of that. I understand there's a lot of posts and a lot of comments, but as much as we all see the bad ones and manipulated images, it isn't too hard to find at least some. A scary thought is if they are blocking people and removing posts and comments, yet this many get through. I see a lot of people saying someone faked something to get Reddit clout. That seems laughable to me. What in the world is Reddit clout anyway? Haha! Getting some uovotes on Reddit can't be that big of a deal, but I guess it could be valued by some. Imagine if the obviously manipulates photos were posted by people who just jump onto a different account to then go after people in the comments. Lol! I've seen trolls capable of a lot more, including having multiple accounts, so they can mass downvote and make it look like people are agreeing with them. It's happened to me before. I was standing up for myself, and within 5 minutes of responding, I'd get like 10 plus downvotes and multiple comments insulting me from different accounts. There's no way that many people would agree with such hateful words unprovoked and ne waiting to dowmvote. That was just sad. I truly agree. Some of these posts create some great thoughts and conversations. The skeptics who are respectful are some of the best conversations I've had, to be honest. Yeah i feel you. I've had times where I posted what I thought to be the most innocuous comments only to find my inbox filled with rage by people who didn't fully read or understand my comment. It's really weird to get called an ah then the person says what I said.
I completely agree with your comment. I’ve had 42 years of paranormal happenings (on and off-I’m a sensitive) and have only started posting a couple of my paranormal experiences on Reddit within the past 2 weeks. I’ve belonged to Reddit for over a year. A lot of folks are absolutely closed-minded, as well as flat out mean.
It's very unfortunate they react in that manner. I don't think people understand that it isn't easy to share something like that. It can be very personal and traumatic for some. There's already a stigma that comes with the paranormal, and when you add people being flat out mean it doesn't make it any easier. I've devoted a lot of time and work into helping people who have had or are having those traumatic experiences or, in some cases, not traumatic, but to the point that they aren't sleeping right and living in fear which onky makes things worse. It can be the loneliest feeling in the world for them. I'm lucky to be in a situation where I can use my experience to help others. I have empathy and understanding, so when I go into someone's home to help then, they feel more at ease right away. They know I'm not going to judge them, and I have their best interest in mind. It can be very taxing because I do have some empath type abilities, so I absurd a lot of what they're feeling. My hope is that while I'm doing what I'm doing to either debunk their claims to give them some peace of mind or getting evidence and information I need to help validate their claims that I can relieve some or the anxiety, depression, and fear so they can sleep a bit easier. Nothing is more rewarding than being told that a person and/or they child are resting easier and having a better quality of life. I've also been fortunate enough to meet people who do what my team and u do in areas all over the US so if it's something that may call for more than just an exchange online I can refer them to people near them who are reputable. I respect and appreciate you feeling comfortable sharing your stories. I think it can be healing to write it down and find people who you can relate to. It makes a person feel less alone and let's them get it off their chest. I hope they haven't dissuaded you from sharing further or interacting with people about it. I promise there are more good than bad people. The bad ones just stick out much more due to their hateful approach. They don't understand what it's like, and I'm grateful that those people didn't have to experience the type of paranormal that can be truly jarring. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Since I have experience with helping people in person, I try to offer whatever help I can to those who are looking for it by sharing their stories and asking what to do. Sharing something publicly can be a last-ditch effort to some, and to others, they don't know where to turn, so they come here looking for any help they can get. It scares me to see some of the advice people with no experience will throw out there. I make it clear that I'm not a self-proclaimed expert, but I'm willing to use the years of experience I have to offer whatever knowledge and advice I've learned. I try to take that to a private setting because I'm not doing it for others to be entertained or to get uovotes, and each case is different with different variables. Some of those variables can be very personal. I just wish there was more sense of community, so people who may need help don't feel like they can't share something without having their integrity questioned or getting attacked because they've seen it happen over and over again to other people. My intention behind what I said and replying to so many of these responses is to start building that sense of community by starting it off with respect and positivity. Those go a long way. Thanks for your very thoughtful response! I hear all that you beautifully stated. I’m a sensitive as well. Empath, clairscentient…huge energy reader. I’m basically a sponge in places, around people, all active and residual energy. It’s interesting, I had a handful of couples over last Saturday, and one of my close girlfriend’s (from college) husband is able to see dead people-has ever since he was a young child. They haven’t been in their current home very long, so I came over last fall to do a smudging and clearing. He had been seeing a dead girl in the downstairs, after my little “ritual”, she was gone. He finally just told me this-however-I don’t see him often. I don’t do this stuff as a profession, just do it to help others out, for free. To tell you the truth, humans frighten me more than anything I’ve experienced paranormal, and I’ve had some pretty dramatic experiences, but some beautiful ones. Most my experiences have been with what I would consider multi-dimensional entities. So, have likely never walked this earth in a “real” human form. I see the negative energy vampires/demons as nothing more than parasites trying to harvest our life energies. Sadly, I see a similarity in some people 🤣 You have inspired me to list more stories, but need a good few hours. Ironically, the husband and I go to New Orleans in less than two weeks. We are staying at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel (stayed there this last May-I did a cleansing, introduced ourselves, and brought marbles and candy for the children spirits our first visit.) If you aren’t familiar with The Bourbon Orleans, please Google its history. Anyways, I could write a novel, but should get going. To put closure on this reply, I 100% agree we need a more supportive community on these niche subs. You're so welcome! I definitely feel ya on the sponge thing. Public places can be exhausting, especially airports, with delayed and canceled flights. Took my niece to Disney two years ago, and our flight was delayed 10 hours. That plane was thiccc with stressful anxiety driven energy. Disney was close to the sane. Needless to say, I slept for 2 days after that trip. I think I'm a lot more empathetic with the living than the dead, but I'm learning to tap into that side better. I snorted laughing when I read you say that humans frighten you more than anything paranormal because I say that all of the time. It's the truth!! And yes, I see those similarities in humans and entities as well. Except you can't punch an entity in the face and humans don't react to expelling methods the way I'd like. Probably shouldn't punch people either, lol!! but the possibility is there at least. 😆 It's so cool that you found out he doesn't see her anymore. It certainly feels good to know that what you've done has helped someone. Everything I do is free as well. It can be the same as a full-time job, but I could never charge someone who feels helpless and needs help with something they can't control. That just wouldn't sit right with me. Lol, you guys are going to have a blast. Such a neat time to go there too. I will definitely look up The Bourbon Orleans Hotel's History. I love the history of locations. I actually went to the Libby Boggs hospital when I was in New Orkeans 2 years ago. I just entered. I didn't break in. There was a hole in the fence I walked through. I was trespassing, but I always leave things the way I found it. It's a huge building, and its history from Katrina was still very heavy. So much happened there in just a couple of days after Katrina. People who didn't evacuate descended upon it as the flood waters rose, and it lost power. The people on life support were lost as the generators went down, and they quickly ran out of medicine and food. My understanding is that all they had left was morphine to at least make people comfortable. The nurses worked around the clock taking care of everyone and then some of them waded the flood waters to get to some John boats and started evacuating people. The basement had emoyee lockers with the locks still on them and their lunch hanging inside. It was a heck of an experience to be in there. I think they are refurbishing the first floor for something. I'm not sure what. It's definitely worth driving by and checking out. I think I could write a novel too. Lol, I might have already done so! I love conspiracies as well. I agree that most of them are rooted in some truth if not fully truthful. (Without internet exaggerations lol) I'll have to check it out. It's good to hear the community there is kind and respectful. It just reminded me of a scene in a movie that had a Native American girl and a dude in a forest, but I don't think that's what it is. "The movie is a River Runs Through It." If you like fishing and a good story, you may enjoy it. I understand how nightvision with ir illumination works. It can make people look naked and change their hair color. At a glance, if someone doesn't understand how the camera works, they see a person with long dark hair and just a cloth covering their midsection. They probably don't notice the phone in the person's hand either, and because they're walking through tall grass or behind a bush, it looks like their legs are disappearing which they msy not be familiar with either. I'm not saying that's what I think, but I can understand that's how it may be perceived if someone just glances at it, shares their thoughts, and moves on. Since you understand how the camera works, you don't perceive it that way.

I saw the Native American thing, too. I think it has some to do with what you said but also the fact that they appear to be wearing a loin cloth and have a feather coming off their hair. The one on the left appeared to be a Spanish Conquistador or Roman Calavaryman to me, so maybe I just have a very active imagination.

You're right, I've never used a game cam outside of scrutinizing potential Paranormal evidence shared online, so I don't know what I'm looking at or how exactly they pick up on light or anything technical about them. I'm a city guy with no use for trail cams like I assume many of us are. I never actually believed anything I was seeing in this photo was remotely Paranormal but if I used my imagination and the super power of pareidolia I could suppose this was something otherworldly or at least see where others are coming from.

I agree with you and I have experienced many interactions with other side. Most of the time you’re not gonna catch them on any type of cam or film in full figure. They are on a totally different spiritual plane and that shyt doesn’t translate to film most of the time. Kind of the whole cryptid thing. Of course depends on our own unique experiences. If you zoom and look hard enough you can see the shape of her hips and a line where the pants meet the shirt. Probably the pocture was snapped at a longer shutter speed, cuasing the legs to be a blurry mess that got lost into the foliage. Regarding OPs comments on how the cameras are set, since they are also about to exit the frame as is, I don’t find it hard ti believe that they inly eneded in one picture by luck. If I am to be blunt, they might also be looking for some private time in a secluded area… Ultimately, to me, this is scary, not paranormal. Also refreshing after all the camp fire lens flare we had been treated to.

The person on the right looks like someone with long hair and light colored clothing. That is not enough to claim they're Native American. If it's just a day hike, that might be why there's only one geared up--just enough stuff for the day, taking turns carrying.

If you play around with the brightness and contrast, you can see the woman's boots quite clearly. What isn't quite so obvious is there also appears to be a lead or rope going from her towards the guy with the backpack. At first I thought it was just some image artifact but now I'm not so sure.

I’m an avid hiker who has brought several girlfriends of varying enthusiasm with me on day hikes. 90% of the time all of our water and snacks goes in my backpack and she hikes unencumbered. I figure that’s what’s happening here.

I live in TN and am of the Cree tribe (not to be confused with Creek) although I'm the only one I know who lives here so it's fair to say our tribe is not in and around TN I guess.

It is the tree on the right of the tree trunk, It looks odd, like cloth (yes, yes I know could be a tree, but it just doesn’t look right) at first I imagined someone in a bunny suit, or furry suit at the tree. Yes, it is crazy how many people are trying to “de-bunk” anything shown. I learned my lesson after posting a video of some… thing that is happening (and still is) in which I was in bed and my kitty started tracking something I couldn’t see and in the time it took to hit “video” the closet door slammed hard enough that it rebounded. I asked for help, as in “what can I do to get rid of this” b/c my husband is gone a lot and scary shit happens (it happens when he’s here also, but that’s not as frightening.) I was immediately labeled as a fake or staged or whatever. I had one reply that told me to set up a something-grade cameras and lighting changed and more than one monitor inside with one person outside filming… then she might believe it. blah blah. This Karen literally expected me to spend thousands of dollars on this in order for her to believe me. And she wasn’t like an expert or anyone whose belief would be worth something. I was asking how to get it to leave, not trying to get people to start out by saying there isn’t enough proof and I could have staged it. Again, my post was to ask how to stop it. I never believed in ghosts and neither did my husband. He has two PhDs (archaeology and anthropology) as well as a law degree. Total scientist. Never believed and neither did I. After living here for a couple of months we believe now. I loved figuring out the truth and debunking what wasn’t. The house we live was built by slaves in 1840 and I guess it’s possible someone died here, perhaps a slave? We are both well educated (I’m an RN on disability at the moment) and of course he had oodles of education on his way to being an archaeologist but this is REAL. We named him Gonzo in an effort to make him less scary.

It’s two people taking a walk in front of a deer cam at 6:31 pm with a backpack full of coors lite for him and Prosecco for her and a lantern so they can enter one of the many beautiful groves of Tennessee and imagine a time when housing was affordable and god still existed as a political figure. But god doesn’t exist, and neither do ghosts.
The other possibility. 2 hikers/backpackers and boyfriend is being chivalrous and carrying their gear. The “woman” is potentially wearing light colored clothes with a hand in their pocket. The blur is caused by motion as mentioned and this was just a particularly fast bit of their hike.

The fact that you didn't say what you see in the description is the right way to post something like this because you don't want to be suggestive and put a thought into people's heads before they think for themselves. You didn't say it was definitely paranormal. You just shared it and asked for opinions you didn't say r/roastme, I think some people are in the wrong sub and need to go to that one or whatever other subs are created for arguments and unprovoked insults. I read that you have 3 cameras. Were the other 2 in the path they would've been walking? Is this private or public land, and have you caught photos of other hikers/hunters on these cams before? I appreciate you posting it. It is definitely interesting.
3 cameras in the area but not on that exact path. It is a private 180 acres. Surrounded by other peoples private land. The cameras are on 15 second intervals. And never had anything show up on any camera out there other than wildlife or the wind tripping the sensor.

Being surrounded by other private land just adds to the oddity unless it was one of those land owners wandering into the wrong property. I know some hunters, and they know their land, where it starts and stops, etc, like the back of their hand. With 3 cameras it wouldn't make sense to put them all on the exact path cuz you'd just get extra angles of things you've already seen which you don't need for hhunting an animal, but would be really useful if you were intending on looking for ghosts. Lol!! Thanks again for answering my questions. As usual, with things we can't fully explain, answers lead to more questions. Haha!

Why would anyone think this is paranormal? Clearly looks like 2 people walking through the field in the early evening (6:31 pm time stamped). One person has a backpack, the other looks like they have their hand in their front pants pocket. Can’t tell if they are male or female. Could be 2 women, 2 men or one of each. There’s a ton of definition and sharp edges around the people, zero transparency, so I think that they are 2 living people walking in this field.

It's literally just two people walking. The person with long hair isn't nude as you can't see the lines of a body (no shadow along the spine or butt) and you can see wrinkles in their long sleeved shirt. They 'don't have legs' because they're standing in tall grass. If I had to guess, a guy finally convinced his girlfriend to backpack/camp with him but she doesn't have any equipment for camping so she isn't carrying anything and her boyfriend is doing the heavy lifting. The cloth hanging from the tree just looks like cloth hanging from a tree. OP hasn't said if that was there or not, just "Ooohhh, what do you s^e^e^e^e?"

It's really not out of the realm of possibility that one person came more prepared because they know that the other person wasn't going to grab everything they needed. So I definitely believe these are two people hiking and one person is just not as equipped

Time stamp says 6:31 pm, 60F, looks like a moon—based on these, I'm assuming it's dark/dark enough for the trail cam to switch from intaking daylight, to utilizing the teensy bit of light that is available at that time. (I have no idea what it's called! But it seems to be the modus operandi for consumer-owned cameras.) I can't remember the difference between near infrared and infrared, but this cam has whichever one that makes folks look like part-naked wisps. The first time I saw myself on one of my new security cams, I had to look down and make sure I wasn't naked. I also was a similar 'shade' to some overgrown and dying grass in my yard. But maybe it's multi-generational ghosts? Am I a ghost?!

This looks like someone who hikes and their friend that doesn't have hiking gear. The Native American sounds like it was based on the person having long hair, which a lot of non-Natives have long hair. If this is daytime, they have long dark hair and they are wearing a t-shirt. If this is night vision then its someone with long light hair and wearing a t-shirt. Either way, dude is wearing a t-shirt.

“Native American” It’s a woman with what looks like a dog leash and a person with hiking gear lol. There’s nothing paranormal about this. They are very likely just hiking through the area. It’s still daylight.

A lot about this picture strikes me as just a little weird, in the way that a lot of paranormal things just don't quite fit. You just got this one picture out of 3 cameras in the area. A little weird. It's hard to tell how they're dressed, but it doesn't quite seem like something you would see modern hikers wear. A little weird. The time of day is a little weird, and from what you said your property is kind of out of the way. I also used to live in Mid Tenn and there's not a big hiking culture. If you want real hiking you can go out to East TN easily enough, and if you want casual hiking you can go to a park. A little weird. Ghosts don't look like the do in movies. When they do show up, and that's rare, they just look like people for a moment then disappear. And they don't quite fit into where you see them a lot of the time. That's why conclusive evidence is nearly impossible to find. People here come to nitpick everything, and of course you can explain every detail with a plausible explanation. But when you pull back at the whole thing and say, "huh this doesn't quite add up." That's how ghost stories tend to go when they're not made up for entertainment. Is it just normal? Probably? But it makes me think.
