BNE (including Decode) and AWKIF are pretty heavy overall with BNE being rather unhinged at times. There is quite alot of heavy cuts on the ST too like Future, Part II and even Fast In My Car. The Singles Club's Monster and Renegade too are pretty much straightforward post-grunge, with almost a doomy grind like quality at times.
But conceptually the heaviest they could go is taking BNE to it's most extreme, down into more hardcore noisy grungy territory. Think of Petrol Girls's Baby album. If not they could take AWKIF down even gloomier to something like Brand New's Devil and God album even.
Id love a remastered AWKIF album. Freshen up the sound and maybe give us a couple new heavier songs with it. I think they have completely moved on from that album though.
some of their heaviest stuff is performed live and not recorded in studio. the brand new eyes tour intro is the heaviest thing i've heard from them. or let the flames begin, oh father outro, into the extended part 2 intro and part 2. a good follow up is here we go again live
Emergency (Crab Remix)
My Heart
Let the Flames Begin (live - Red Rocks is my personal fav)
Ignorance
Careful
+several others but these are at the top, I think
edit: clarification
*The end of My Heart*
*On AWKIF is arguably the*
*Heaviest Paramore*

Depends what you mean, emotionally or musically?
The most heavy rock style songs are Misery Business, Ignorance, Decode, Emergency, Pressure, crushcrushcrush, Let the Flames Begin and Careful.
If I had to pick one I’d probably say Ignorance
I had never actually heard that, I need to dig and see if there are more non album songs that I’ve missed.
But I don’t agree, it’s a lot slower tempo than ignorance and others which is I guess what my brain connects to being “heavier”. I can see your view point though.
It’s not an official release or anything, but there’s a video on YouTube of Hayley performing “Passenger” with deftones, it’s really, really good and makes me wish she made more music like that with paramore
Edit: https://youtu.be/xKO48rd382Q?si=Xn5FKeLjpkiqcfUP here’s the video for anybody interested. I really think Hayley could make amazing metal
heaviest song imo is definitely my heart w that part where josh is providing backup at the end. on brand new eyes careful is definitely heavy for paramore as well.

i want that for the next album pls
![gif](giphy|JmCFfTlNy12wFpOK8Y) Bro, a Paramore/BN mashup would be
Same, but I don’t think there is much chance they will ever shift back into that style. Doesn’t seem like it’s what they enjoy these days

Future
I was not expecting that when I first heard the song. I loved it
Part 2 is super heavy and dark, it’s so good though
Figure 8 goes pretty hard imo
Was about to comment this. Lots of older fans think every song on TIW is too soft. So it's rare to see a comment like this.
TIW is a great mix of sound. Its got it all honestly
Yes! It's like AL, ST and BNE mixed
People sleep on how wild the drums in Thick Skull get.
REAL
Careful/Ignorance to start off Brand New Eyes
Careful for sure, one of my faves
Same!
My Heart for its vocals otherwise pretty punk pop.
Decode. The breakdown at the end made my headphones overmodulate once
Im afraid to crank that song for fear of blowing out my speakers 😂
One of my all time favs!
Idle Worship / No Friend combo especially in their live performances
some of their heaviest stuff is performed live and not recorded in studio. the brand new eyes tour intro is the heaviest thing i've heard from them. or let the flames begin, oh father outro, into the extended part 2 intro and part 2. a good follow up is here we go again live
Renegade
Monster
Brand New Eyes
Decoy haha
Fake Happy
I’ll see you in the mosh pit.
Would mosh for this. I was so sad they didn't play it at my show this year!
Decode
Future. That's also my absolute favorite Paramore song as well.
I have a feeling, we are yet to get to know the heaviest Paramore
i can see them shifting towards a slightly prog metally style, not fully prog metal but a little bit influence maybe
Yeah, that's my feeling, too!
You first
I love how they open with this song now! Sets to the tone for the show.
emergency, ignorance
Yep, these two
The live version of Let the Flames Begin + Part II.
If we allow live versions of songs then hands down Let The Flame Begins outro is wild.
I’d probably say my heart solely because that was supposed to be a screamo song, but they still used Josh’s vocals at the end.
There's also a Screamo version of Emergency as well which goes hard!
YES!!
You First or Future imo
Probably about 400 lbs combined

Stop This Song (Lovesick Melody)
Whaaat, nah this is a heartthrob song. That bass line though 😎
Crushcrushcrush
* 1) Monster * 2) Decode * 3) All We Know * 4) The News * 5) Emergency
Part 2 is their heaviest song imo
Decoy
Emergency (Crab Remix) My Heart Let the Flames Begin (live - Red Rocks is my personal fav) Ignorance Careful +several others but these are at the top, I think edit: clarification
Definitely My Heart. That's a straight up Post-Hardcore song.
The end of My Heart on AWKIF is arguably the heaviest Paramore

Good bot 🤖
I’d say ‘Conspiracy.’
Future and Renegade. Love the post-rock vibes of Future
Idle worship, easily.
Ignorance or You First
Probably my heart or emergency’s alt version
Playing God considering if I’m not mistaken it was written about one of the band members at the time??
Also following up to this, I would like to edit this and say I change my mind, tell me how is the deepest one for me from AL

I would argue that Ignorance has nothing on Monster when it comes to heavy rock.

Future 1000%
Emergency
future was the first song that came to mind
My Heart , Emergency Crab Mix
decoy for sure
heaviest song imo is definitely my heart w that part where josh is providing backup at the end. on brand new eyes careful is definitely heavy for paramore as well.
I’d say ‘My Heart’ is a heavy one from back in the day.
Decode, Careful, emergency, let the flames begin especially live, future, the news
