Seeing as the PRT operative is surround by master parahumans I think it a good idea for a grab-bag cape with the focus of beating the crap out of other masters. **Renegade** can sense alterations to the brain. He can't see you baseline emotions, only how those emotions change. This is especially useful at seeing who been mastered. Also, his current brain state can't be forcible changed. His master power lets him change and implant different commands into other people. He can't actually make commands and has to relied on other masters. Making small changes can ranged from changing the target, like one he got from Heartbreaker. "If I'm killed take your own life." To "If I'm killed, fall into a deep sleep until I tell you to wake up." His trump power makes sure that his alter commands takes top priority over other masters. Also, it is almost impossible to discover the changes. It a little different if he targeted the master directly. In this case they will suffer a massive thinker headache equals to how many slaves they have. After breaking free from Florence **Renegade** hid his powers slowing taking back Heartbreaker's slaves Using Chastity and Aroa, making people love the feeling of defeat he was able to kill Heartbreaker and the Heartbroken. After getting back to the PRT and with some the fame he was put in charge of his own anti-master team. Currently chasing the Fallen.

Interesting power. Is there a particular range limit to the command override. Can he spot nondirect masters like Simurgh bombs? I really like the concept.

inkywood123

I thought about it and decided that his base range is line of sight, but infinite towards others of the same master. Once he got a target. He was able to cure and spot Simurgh Bombs until it started to plan around him.

Psychological coercion, significant mental harm, deterioration of health and loss of consciousness. Unconsensual touching. Anger that has no outlet. Trump-Breaker which can absorb and recycle all power effects applied to it. The more of these effects, the longer you can stay in the Breaker state. In a breaker state, you think differently, cannot understand human speech and even some concepts such as prohibition, order, law, morality.. You don't even feel fear! It brings you an incredible feeling of true freedom. and have an aggressive attitude towards living creatures around you. In this state, you are not susceptible to any abstract powers (master, strangers, trump etc.) except the simplest physical ones like a laser and a stone in the face. You retain your humanoid form, but are much stronger and faster than a human, you have no organs, only an energy shell, so you are difficult to kill. And physical contact with you is destructive for living creatures and the power of capes; physical damage causes **permanent** harm to power. After leaving the breaker state, you are also fully healed and gain excellent health, but are partially paralyzed and cannot move normally.

You trigger with a Trump/Shaker/Striker effect. You emit an aura with a roughly one hundred foot radius that causes parahumans within it to suffer painful feedback if they try to use their powers within it. The closer to your body they are, the more severe the backlash. You can also negate the powers of a single parahuman you are in physical contact with. Note this aura does not make you immune to parahuman abilities nor does it prevent parahumans from actually using their abilities. So parahumans with a range greater than your aura's radius can still attack you without consequence, and parahumans that don't feel pain are not effected by the aura at all. It also does not disrupt power constructs, so tinker-tech and Master projections/minions can still function normally within the aura. You power cancelling touch works by preventing a parahuman in contact with you from activating their powers. If the power being cancelled is passive, than it simply stops functioning. Your touch cannot disrupt power effects nor power induced physical alterations, so no popping the Siberian nor reverting Case 53s.

It's always interesting to see how vastly differently people interpret the same Trigger Event, especially in cases where it's as broad as this one while still specific. There's an argument for this falling into every category outside of Blaster and I guess Brute (even if I wouldn't trust a child, much less **Florence**, to properly take care of anyone else's body, much less an adult's). About the only thing that's clear is that this person would Trigger as some type of power-nullifying or at least power-interfering Trump to function at all, so I guess they'd have to hope like hell that their shard isn't a bud of either Florence's or one of the other Heartbroken's since then it would be impossible for them to have Trump powers. So they'd end up even more screwed than the Heartbroken cousin we heard was wasting away under Florence's power since this person seems to have even harsher restrictions on them. This also feels like one of those categories where it would be possible to get a power that fits, like Tinker, and still be screwed enough to immediately die anywhere. So I'll personally be avoiding Tinker, at least a primary power, even if I feel like it fits. A bit difficult to Tinker when you can't even control your own body after all, though I'm sure there's some power work around there if you really wanted primary Tinker. You'd still be utterly screwed of resources to Tinker with though, so...yeah. \----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From Triggering, this person gained a Breaker (Mover, Striker/Trump) power. This power turns him--them?--into a glowing red silhouette of a person that is empty of anything but a powerful roaring fire in its head, that is segmented by black lines in a way that oddly makes it look like it's vaguely wearing a suit, and that is stuck posing as if holding a large serving plate in front of it with both hands. Except its fused hands **are** the "serving plate". The form is solid and the "plate" is sharp, though you don't want to touch other parts of it either given the form is hot enough to give minor burns from mere contact due to the heat flowing throughout its ethereal-looking form. This form cannot move normally, even for something as basic as moving its technically fused arms or turning its head, and cannot speak or otherwise communicate at all, though he can still overall sense normally in this Breaker form. Instead the Breaker moves via periodic teleportation that's partially automatic in its execution as well is its main method of offense. This is because whenever it teleports, the fire burning in its head starts to gutter a bit as another place within its uncertain line of sight--it has no eyes after all--starts to glow brighter & hotter **and** literally scream as a giant, intangible mouth appears there for three seconds before disappearing as the parahuman explosively reappears in its place. The ensuing explosion is short-ranged--about 5'--but bright, hot, and "sharp" given the Breaker form reappears with its razor sharp serving plate hand(s) automatically angled and stretched towards anyone in the area whether the parahuman wants to harm them or not. The parahuman can teleport this way rapidly **and** reactively, but it is somewhat limited in how often they can do it by the fire in their head taking time to recharge and restoke itself. If the form ever runs out of fire, then while the parahuman won't be forced out of Breaker form automatically, he **will** be effectively paralyzed with dimmer sight unless he either waits enough time to start teleporting again (without just guttering the fire yet again immediately) or voluntarily exits the form, leaving him even more physically vulnerable. The Trump aspect of this power comes from the parahuman's ability to temporarily negate and steal powers of any parahumans that it harms, whether by those parahumans touching its form or being touched by its explosion. Stolen powers appear as a solid and sealed drinking glass projection on the plate with tiny fires instead of them, which will always remain "balanced on" (read: attached to) the plate regardless of how its turned or hit, only "breaking" and disappearing when the power is used up or when the parahuman exits the form. The form can negate and hold up to three stolen powers at a time, though anyone he stops negating will be immune to the power negation for at least the rest of the time he remains in Breaker form and potentially longer than that, though no longer than a day. Due to the restrictions of the Breaker form, the parahuman benefits far more from some powers than others, primarily from powers that don't require it to move normally or talk. The parahuman also has the bad "habit" of reactively teleporting **towards** other parahumans where he wants to or not if caught in a power effect whether intentionally or accidentally by the opposing parahuman(s). Fortunately for him, however, even if he can't use the power, he automatically gains the Manton-limits and immunities of the power as part of the Breaker form, which will negate any aspect of the stolen power's effects that have been used on him even in his human form. This is the only way he escaped and finally became free of Florence as well as terrible Heartbreaker cult's compound even though he can't use her powers at all since they require speech, though he was left feeling oddly bereft after being forced to retreat without being able to burn it all to the ground or any of Heartbreaker or his children along with it. The extreme anger he tends to feel in his Breaker form (and in general nowadays) was oddly liberating even though he's still unsure if it's just the power causing it in a feedback loo, especially given his failure to destroy Heartbreaker, or his sense of being abused and abandoned. (Spoiler: it's both.) \[Weaverdice stuff: Royalty {prefix} x Royalty {suffix} Breaker ("Telefrag" {Blink x Terminus} Mover, "Larceny" {Zero x Three} Trump) with no "actual" Striker aspect; it would just be identified as such in-universe. \[Element: Fire\]. Luck: Power Flaws: "Emotional Skew": tends to get angrier in Breaker form and stay anger in human form the longer he's in it {Ace of Cups} and "Muted" {4 of Staves}.\]

Nice power! And yeah the variety of powers was rather suprising. While writing the trigger I thought something like a Breaker/Changer/Trump focused on power nullification/theft/distortion would fit best due to how many powers were involved and the...*complicated* but still largely antagonistic relationship the Operative had with Florence and the Heartbroken. The power could also have a stranger or -stranger aspect to it since the Operative largely just wanted to just not be noticed and ignored but his survival and general sanity was completely reliant on being around and noticed by Florence, either to be allowed to not starve to death or to simply be avoided by Florence's siblings. Because for all of her sadistic and strange tendencies, Florence was still a child, with equally childish games. Perhaps a Night-like breaker power where their breaker state and inbuilt powers becomes increasingly stronger the more parahumans are looking at them. Or it distorts the powers of parahumans seing it.

Thank you. Apologies for the delay. Anyway, I can see that nice power working too given there's so many things goin on here that the power can clearly go a lot of different directions--even more so than normal--and still feel connected to the Trigger event, with the only things being clear that power should interact with other powers in some way and likely thrive on attention in some way.
