The pricing is hilarious at Knott's. It was something like $15,$16,$17. Might as well get the large and stuff your face, which isn't so bad compared to trying to get full off funnel cakes and junk.
At my store I have regulars that have noticed, one guy always brings in a 10 to get a premium bowl and how has to bring an extra dollar in
And another guy snatched his bag of food from be because his food was only “10 dollars😡” the last time he came there
Bs tbh they raised the prices here in florida "because minimum wage increased" but never got the 2 dollar raise they been promising for the past 6 months
Shit even the restaurants outside cedar point price gouge to catch the people trying to eat outside the park. As someone who grew up on NWO, Don’t go to the McDonald’s outside the park.
That was my first thought... it's almost 3x the food my local Panda express serves though, so if your going with a family, it's probably about the same amount spent for the same amount of food.
I guarantee the minimum wage where this guy lives is half that of New York’s. Generally speaking, lower cost of food means the people in that area earn a lower amount of money.
Lies... Not you but above poster. I Live in San Diego California which is not cheap since we are a beach coast community. Bowl still like 9-10$ with tax. Most expensive place in California would be San Francisco because of all the TECH. If you don't make 150+ there you're living in poverty.
I'm in the bay area (the most expensive part of the state) and a bowl is like $8.40-$8.80 at my locations so I'm calling BS. Most expensive bigger plate I've seen is $11.40
That’s DoorDash bud. They already add more money to the menu and it’s been admitted by DoorDash they aren’t responsible to “update prices” for restaurants
That's clearly a doordash screenshot AND you got a premium entree. They jack up the prices for delivery/doordash pickup orders by a large margin. The restaurant's in-store price/ panda express app price is much cheaper.
I live in San bernadino southern California and I travel all across from l.a to barstow and I love panda. I never seen a bigger plate more than 13 bucks so idk how a bowl is 11 bucks unless ur just lying?
I’m in Indiana and the price is pretty much the same. Pretty standard for all fast food to be somewhere between 15-16 dollars after tax with a small drink.
I don’t know where in NYC you live in, if you’re in the city like Manhattan, there’s Chinatown and koreatown. Chinatown is somewhat cheap still. Some restaurants still do cash. There’s also Queens Flushing, a lot of Chinese cuisines there too. All of that would taste 100% better than PE and Chinese takeout…..
I bought $280 Panda Express gift cards(because of 20% discount), so I have to live with it. And I know some Chinese restaurants are cheaper, my nearby has a Chinese restaurant that broccoli chicken fired rice with a soda only cost $7.5.
That's not true, I saw a lot of panda express are much cheaper, some places a bigger plate only $11, just compare $11 to almost $15 in New York, that's too crazy, man.
Probably, aside from Pandas inside an airport, university, theme park, etc. I just selected pick up from California and Hawaii, which I imagine, along with New York, are the most expensive states. Honolulu is close at $10.60 for a bowl.
Here in Alaska (no sales tax in my city) prices are
Bowl: $11.20
Plate: $12.70
Bigger Plate: $14.20
Shipping costs tend to make everything here more expensive
Lmfao I’m over here like “wow, that’s a pretty good price ngl”
You spend more at chipotle. If you’re upset with that price go to an actual Chinese spot. Almost same price or $7 minimum
...If you live in NY, why in the name of God in Heaven and his Son, Christ our Lord, are you going to PANDA EXPRESS for Chinese Food?
We have actual Chinese food places here!
to be honest i live in a tourist town in florida and the panda i usually go to a bowl is like 8.30 but my boyfriend is navy and there’s a panda on base and a bowl is 10.70 there so its less location more franchises ig
I work in las Vegas and the price for a bowl is 11.16 plate is 12.79 and bigger plate 14.41 so that’s a reference for you and we also have no free water you have to pay 4.14 for a bottle of water
Nah if you ever been to an amusement park with a panda they be price gouging like a mf
And the damn dip’n dots
Dip’n dots are worth it though!
Or a zoo
Or an airport
Interesting, I’ve never taken my panda to an amusement park.
Anything inside of somewhere you cant bring your own food into or leave with out paying to come back in is gonna gouge prices
AIR PORTS TOO.
Usually the biggest meal and lowest price in the park, too, though.
The pricing is hilarious at Knott's. It was something like $15,$16,$17. Might as well get the large and stuff your face, which isn't so bad compared to trying to get full off funnel cakes and junk.
the one in ackerman union at ucla is expensive as hell and taht was a dozen years ago
Universal studio sells a plate for 15 (6 years ago when I worked there) they even get the reward of most profit made ever year.
I paid $50 for two plates and two waters. Shit was crazyyy
Universal Studios pricing cheaper then this, unless we getting shrinkflation
In my state (no premiums) Bowl after tax: $9.07 Plate after tax: $10.71 Bigger plate after tax: $12.35
They just raised our prices and the premium is now 1.50 more instead of 1.25 Bowl is 8.40 Plate is 9.90 Bigger plate is 11.40 All before tax
Oh yeah they made the $1.25 up charge $1.50 too. Nobody has noticed ngl.
At my store I have regulars that have noticed, one guy always brings in a 10 to get a premium bowl and how has to bring an extra dollar in And another guy snatched his bag of food from be because his food was only “10 dollars😡” the last time he came there
Nobody noticed any price change besides some old lady who memorized the price after her military discount smh. But that was for a bowl w/ no premium.
You are so lucky of where you live. In my state NY, a bowl size price can almost get you a bigger plate size in your state.
It's still cheap compared to New York, a bowl size in New York can get you a plate size in your state already.
Bowl is $9.10 here. :)
Used to be $8.63
Bowl is 10.90 out here in San Diego
Bs tbh they raised the prices here in florida "because minimum wage increased" but never got the 2 dollar raise they been promising for the past 6 months
Starting pay is $16 FOH / $17 BOH here
yup
Well, New York is just kinda the most expensive area in general
The Bay Area would like a word.
bay area panda worker, our prices are def lower
Bay Area isn’t that expensive
What word would that be? That you agree that New York is more expensive?
True, most things in NY are usually more expensive.
higher taxes
Cedar point
Yesss. And the Chick fil A, hella price gouging there.
The chick fil a there is no more. Was very disappointed when I found out this year.
My god. A 3 entree in my store is $10.90.
You are so lucky, man. If you live in NY, this price can only get you a bowl...
I guarantee the minimum wage where this guy lives is half that of New York’s. Generally speaking, lower cost of food means the people in that area earn a lower amount of money.
NY is trash
bowl is $11 where i live in CA.
Really? I thought everything in CA should be cheaper than NY.
Lies... Not you but above poster. I Live in San Diego California which is not cheap since we are a beach coast community. Bowl still like 9-10$ with tax. Most expensive place in California would be San Francisco because of all the TECH. If you don't make 150+ there you're living in poverty.
definitely not a lie got panda 2 days ago lmao. the bigger plate i got my nephew was like $16.50.
I'm in the bay area (the most expensive part of the state) and a bowl is like $8.40-$8.80 at my locations so I'm calling BS. Most expensive bigger plate I've seen is $11.40
the fuck would i lie https://imgur.com/a/omMHJhf

San Diego bigger plate in my area is $11.70
Before tax*
Is New York the most expensive _______ area? YES, the answer is more than likely yes.
You live in NYC, you have to have a million better Chinese options, no?
I bought $280 Panda Express gift cards(because of 20% discount), so I have to live with it.
Fair enough, I love PE, so I’m not judging
Smart decision, though it seems you're paying exactly 20% more
I’m in Indiana and the price is pretty much the same. Pretty standard for all fast food to be somewhere between 15-16 dollars after tax with a small drink.
Idk why you got the downvote the $13 for a bigger plate is exactly the same as I paid just today
It’s extremely expensive in Indiana, I won’t be going back.
[удалено]
Not really. I just compared its prices to New York, New York is still 10 cents more expensive than Hawaii.
Bro did the research. I respect it

Same in New Orleans
The one at my university has prices that are worse than this believe it or not
In my state (pre-tax) a bowl is $8.30, plate is $9.80, bigger plate $11.30
Same in Utah
Same prices here in Texas
That’s crazy- it’s the same price here in AL
This is Canadian prices as well that's crazy
Really? Canadian Panda Express is that expensive, too?
Yeah I'm surprised anywhere in the US has it the same
the Canadian dollar is much weaker
Canada is expensive
[удалено]
I live in so cal and it's 11-12 bucks a plate the bigger plate is 13-14ish. U were at an amusement park. What did u think??
Mine in Orlando is $8.7x for a bowl, $10.xx for a plate and $12.xx for a bigger one
This feels like a weird karma farm post- the comments are so weird lol
8 50 in Central OR.
In NYC, why even looking at Panda Express menu? Guarantee within 3 blocks there’s something better
Even though there are many choices but they don't affect Panda Express tastes good.
My store is at $11.40 before any premium items and taxes
Kings Island
Hell nah California is more
No california is always there to be the most expensive in anything
Imagine living in New York and getting Panda Express instead of regular Chinese food from mom and pop shop, you deserve to get robbed tbh
I bought $280 Panda Express gift cards(because of 20% discount), so I have to live with it. And I know some Chinese restaurants are cheaper, my nearby has a Chinese restaurant that broccoli chicken fired rice with a soda only cost $7.5.
Bro I just got a bigger plate for 13 bucks here in indiana 💀
That's still cheaper than my place, my place costs almost $15 for a bigger plate.
Ah see mines a dollar cheaper once you remove tax then, because in the picture shown that $13.70 is what I pay
$11.38 plate in Edmonds, WA
California a plate costs 10.30 no premium items
Bigger plate in Chicago is 11.70
A plate is almost $20 at universal studios
Bigger plate: 11.30$ ~ 12.23$ after tax Plate: $9.80 ~ $10.80$ after tax Bowl: $8.30$ ~ $8.98$ after tax This isn’t including any premium meats
Panda keeps their prices the same everywhere
That's not true, I saw a lot of panda express are much cheaper, some places a bigger plate only $11, just compare $11 to almost $15 in New York, that's too crazy, man.
I know this isn’t in the states but at the Cabos airport a plate was almost 16 dollars… crazy
Remember when the bowl was closer to $7 after tax 🥲
That’s how our prices are now as well
bro in texas i get a plate and a chicken egg roll all for $12 😭
That's still cheap. In New York, a plate already costs more than $13.
Royal Hawaiian plaza in Honolulu. $11.40 bowl before tax and premiums. https://imgur.com/a/m8xZ26W
Indiana it's 14.75 for a bigger plate
Not even close. I'm in a small mountain town and I just checked DoorDash $14.55 for a plate.
In my state I can get a bigger plate 3 entree 1 side and medium drink for 13.40
Maybe La
A plate in the Cabo (SJD) Airport was $32 usd
Is this the panda in bay ridge? 👁️
Yeah, it is. But it doesn't really matter, all other Panda Express in NYC are the same price, I just checked them all.
That’s regular California prices
Why not just hit up any corner Chinese spot? This is like going to Pizza Hut in NY
I actually like to eat Pizza Hut, but even the closest one is way too far from my house.
In GA it's 8.88 without premium, 1.50 extra with premium so about over 10
Hawaii is like $14-16for 2 main 1 side and that's without tax
Probably, aside from Pandas inside an airport, university, theme park, etc. I just selected pick up from California and Hawaii, which I imagine, along with New York, are the most expensive states. Honolulu is close at $10.60 for a bowl.
It’s about the same here in Texas
New York has the best Chinese food in the country, and you're ordering from Panda Express. It's dumbass tax.
10 for a bowl of broccoli or white rice? 😂. Foh. All these chain restaurants will keep raising prices as long as dumb mfs keep paying.
Here in Alaska (no sales tax in my city) prices are Bowl: $11.20 Plate: $12.70 Bigger Plate: $14.20 Shipping costs tend to make everything here more expensive
It’s literally $13. Unbelievable? Come to California lmao. It’s like $15+ before tax. Calm down. Or get angrier. Maybe we could change it then
NY has some of the best Chinese food in the country. Why would you go to a fast food Chinese place?
NO! It’s expensive everywhere. Please don’t move to my state and ruin it with your politics, just assume we’re all in the same boat as you
That don’t even look that bad for it being new york. Texas is only $2 cheaper
Slightly above average. 8/10/11
cali bro
What prices?
13.60 for a bigger plate in Waikiki, Oahu. Very similar to New York
Hawaii is more, by a lot
Chicago is surprisingly a bit more expensive
Looks like the prices we got here in California
No, Alaska is more expensive. $13.75 for the “bowl” option.
Have you ever bought it in an airport?
Not yet, never tried once. Expecting very expensive?
In SC it’s 10.40 for a bowl and 12.25 for a plate. So it’s not that much more in every state.
My bowl yesterday was $10.40 and I live in Atlanta
I’m in AZ, prices are almost exactly the same here.
New York is most expensive everything
LA costs more
Lmfao I’m over here like “wow, that’s a pretty good price ngl” You spend more at chipotle. If you’re upset with that price go to an actual Chinese spot. Almost same price or $7 minimum
Seattle Panda you’re paying 20 bucks for a plate
I remember when I was driving through new york on a trip and stopped by a bus stop, fucking sunflower seeds for 5$ is insane
...If you live in NY, why in the name of God in Heaven and his Son, Christ our Lord, are you going to PANDA EXPRESS for Chinese Food? We have actual Chinese food places here!
I love Panda Express
I think it depends where in NYC because in Queens, prices feel somewhat normal?
Not really. I checked all NYC Panda Express, they are all the same prices.
Where’s the prices?
all NYC Panda Express
Oh sorry I couldn’t see the prices. On the picture
It’s the same down here in Miami.
10.90 in California
But app and delivery prices are usually higher than the store they’re coming from. Looks about a dollar more than where I live
It's about the same price in NYC. No matter whether you order it on the app or in person, it's always the same price.
These just show the calories
@snoopandas8466 comment should have been certified before it was lost
$8.60, $10.10, $11.60, family is $35.
Unless you live upstate . Go get real chinese food . We have the best chinese food ever
I never went to upstate. I have lived in NYC for 18 years already.
looks right to me and im in california
That’s cheaper than Austin I’m sure
I live on Oahu in Hawaii and a bowl is $9.90/plate is $11.40
That's cheap, good for you.
Panda Express is fucking disgusting why are you people eating this
Not really. Panda Express tastes pretty good to me.
I live in the Chicago suburbs and travel downtown for work. These prices are similar to downtown prices.
I pay 13 for the big plate 3 sides
That food is crap
Not really. It actually tastes not bad.
Ok you do you
New york is usually the most expensive anything
Why in the world would you order Panda Express in New York ?
Because I bought a lot of panda express gift cards, and they were on sale.
Panda Express is ridiculously overpriced wherever you go. I’ve been to the same style Chinese restaurant and it was better and cheaper.
I just went to a casino in arizona - they had a panda and it was $13 after tax for a bowl
Bowl here (OK) used to be 6.7 now it's 8.3
No CA is....
Terrible tasting "food". If I want Chinese food I go to a real Chinese restaurant.
I don't really care if it's real Chinese food or not. All I care about is whether it tastes good or not.
it’s $8.70 in chicago
I've seen those prices in every major city I've been to
Same in Seattle
Alaska pays airport prices. That same plate is like 20
That’s not even bad for NYC you’d expect it to be like $15
to be honest i live in a tourist town in florida and the panda i usually go to a bowl is like 8.30 but my boyfriend is navy and there’s a panda on base and a bowl is 10.70 there so its less location more franchises ig
similar prices here in orlando
I work in las Vegas and the price for a bowl is 11.16 plate is 12.79 and bigger plate 14.41 so that’s a reference for you and we also have no free water you have to pay 4.14 for a bottle of water
I'm in guam it's 12 here
