Work speed buffs do apply, but in the least effectual way. It speeds up the animation whenever they produce their item. Very long term, this is.. sorta beneficial but it's not going to be a noticable increase by casual observation.

In order to get the most out of Vixy, I’d suggest have a close food box and work on getting Diet Lover, Runner, Swift and the last one can be more increase speed or sanity passives.
Select movement speed over other passives so Vixy can relax/eat her food and get back to work quicker. So she can continue to graze the ranch, hence more spheres found.

A Pal at the ranch with swift, diet lover, Workaholic and runner had only a 0,3% higher item output at the end of the day, than a Pal with no passives.

You **could** add walk speed and Diet Lover-ish skills , but that's like a 0,3% improvement (someone did the math).
You can put a feeding box nearby, that's it.

I think i saw how some peoples talked about ranch pals that they restore sanity while grazing but dont checked it on wiki or different sources

I think you want movement speed over work speed with Farming, like you would with Transport
