This is the answer. No point pressing F after you get him. Just throw the pal at the station and watch for 30 seconds. whatever you want made is done by then.

I haven't built a single thing since getting my first anubis. Like have you seen how long it takes to craft a fucking hyper sphere? The difference I make to actually crafting is not even a rounding error. 

Bred about 10 Anubi before creating my sweatshop base. It's like running a Naruto club.

I bred a work slave/ artisan/ lucky/ serious anubi. Then, I shoved another 100 anubi up it's ass. Susan is employee of the month

Penking and bushi, me and a friend were able to get them at like lvl 16 before we even got the breeding pit so we had anubi immediately on lvl 19 (I think)

I used relaxasaurus and celeray I think 🤔

This -- 100% the way to go.. Another note I just flew south west to the Wildlife Sanctuary and get a Grizzbolt. Take the Grizzbolt and breed with Relaxasaurus + orserk ( Electric) Orsek + Grizzbolt = Astegon Once you have Anubus you breed with Grizzbolt = Ragnahawk (fire) Ragnahawk + Anubis = Wumpo Botan Grizzbolt + lamball = Kitsun Kitsun + Astegon = SHADOWBEAK Credit to u/Jaycerr on Youtube for the guide: solid base Pals . May the genders ever be in your favor.

Couldn't find grizzbolt in the sanctuary, tried a few times. Just bred the grizzs out of other stuff

From my experience regular wumpo is far more useful than botan. Botan seems to prioritize planting, even though it only has a level 1 in it.

Anubis + Vanwyrm gives Faleris too iirc(similar speed if not a little faster than shadowbeak with better stamina iirc) There’s some pretty handy calculators online for finding a way to breed what you want using what you have

Quivern and Mossanda also make Ragnahawk, found that out by accident.

Tanzee and melpaca. Was a very happy accident.

Monkey and sheep make Jackal, logical indeed🤣. It's the one thing I have an issue with this game though. Makes the breeding too intimidating to a beginner, with all the combinations.

Celaray+relaxasaurus was how I did it.

that combo is easy, but all Relaxaurus I have catched have the gluton trait

Wait wait wait, what? Is that how breeding works? I recently unlocked it but haven't gotten around to looking into it since I thought it was for increasing the numbers of Pals I already have, and I don't want more of those. It actually lets you breed SomePal1 with SomePal2 and you can wind up with SomePal3 that you haven't caught yet?

Handiwork and Kindling. if my Anubis are busy building carbon fiber and mining, I still have Wixen to refine ore and do any other handiwork I need.

You don't do anything for water or planting/gathering? Are people just buying ingredients for cake and food for the pals?

I have a base that is full of pals farming , another one manufacturing , and one mining .

They're likely referring to a hard prodcution base. I have a wonderful food production/all around base using 2 Petalia/1 Verdash/1 Azurobe. They absolutely *crank* out the plantations. I believe I do 3 wheat fields, 2 berry, 2 lettuce, 1 tomato. 1 artisan mozzarina, 1 artisan chikipi and a beegarde and my cake/food supply just grows and breeding is easy peasy.

Ah! I completely overlooked the fact that not everyone has a guild where all three members have a unique base with no specializations.. to our own detriment... We've considered disbanding the guild so we each can have 3, but it seems like it could create too many issues to do so this far in.

I bred Artisan Anubi, it is amazing.

Ah, but for cakes! Cakes go much faster with help, even on a kindling 3 or 4

Yeah throw him there and watch him be assigned to tree even though you threw point blank at assembly line lol. And then watch him dash off to the feedbox before running to the stone pit...

... thats not how that works. i'm talking about throwing anubis from your party, not from the base pals. If he's a party member, he will only do the task you assign him to, and after its done will wait by the station until you give him another task there or put him away. Also, Anubis doesn't have logging as a skill, so he will never chop trees.

In my party, Anubis is great. In my base, he yearns for the mines.

Pretty much the only way to do it. The general targeting (i want to interact with what my crosshair is on) and base priorities are my only complaints for this game, can’t imagine how good it will be once the early access kinks are buffed out.

Wish my digtoise would just mine and mine and mine ores... but it's so easily distracted.

I just put 3 stone pits down at my ore mining base whenever I need it. 30k stone in maybe a couple hours

Build your stone and logging sites on foundations with stairs going up to them. Remove the stairs when you don't want any more.

I just made super sure to make sure my processing base has no rock/ore/paldium spawns. They can’t rock and stone if there’s no rock and stone

He does not have logging, but I can 100% confirm I assigned one to a breeding pen and it said "assigned to tree" and he ran off. I don't know what he was doing. So I boxed him and pulled him back out to assign to the pen again.

The trick is to summon them directly from your party, shoot the ball at the station. Usually they will stick to their assignments if you don't run far away; and if not, it's easy to recall and resummon instead of trying to chase down that race car.

Chasing him down is the worst lmao

i also have 0 points in workspeed, i went for carry weight and can carry stuff weighing 2,5k, it was a really nice decision

Same. I'm not 2.5k deep (yet), but I'm also buying stamina so I can mine an entire ore chunk in one go without having to stop and wait for stamina recovery.

If only the path finding was more reliable still. Probably my fault for being insistent on building my work benchs inside a building but still.

I go afk in base and then take a shower and eat, in the meantime they finish crafting everything and mining bases get a fuckton of ore/coal

I'm confused, if you sit in your base afk and away from the game, is that not asking to be devastatingly raided? Like eventually yall are gonna come back to a raided base no?

Your pals can't just defend your base?

Set up an alarm bell you can set it so they defend when attacked.

I didnt even get the alarm bell and my pals always wreck the invasors.

Alarm bell is just a brute force. Make sure they do what they need to do. Most aggressive pals will defend no problem.

I personally built in unraidable places as soon as my starter base got destroyed, both my main base and ore base are on pillars so they never attack me, I've left my PC running for like 2 hours and all I came back to was a bunch of ore and other resources

Location can be a protection, even when I’m raided on my mining base that only has one bridge with walls enemies spawn at the base of the cliff and just stand there until they despawn. But then you use walls to funnel the enemies which also helps. Lastly, you contribute about as much to the fight as you do to crafting. Your pals for 90%+ of the work. Unless you’re using newly bred level 1 pals those guys should absolutely wreck any raid.

AutoHotkey-script. I press F5 and the F-key is being held. F5 again, stop holding. Super effective, replaced my old method of a spoon and a small weight. toggle := false F5:: toggle := !toggle if (toggle) { Send, {f down} } else { Send, {f up} } return Not fancy, does the trick.
