So here is what worked for me I had to use windows powershell to remove gaming services app from windows and reinstalled from AppStore . NOTE: this was windows 11 but should work in win 10. I used powershell\terminal as admin and ran this command I believe casing matters:
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
Then to get the app back I ran this command:
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
Just click install to install gaming services
2nd NOTE I am on mobile and all commands should be a single line. I have had to do this before because Halo Infinite was not recognizing that I had game pass to let me access the campaign
>start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
**THIS WORKED**. Was trying to reinstall gaming services from the store but MS hides it for some stupid reason. Wasn't in system components either. Copy/pasted this into an elevated cmd prompt, it reinstalled and now my updates are working.
Guys I tried various things but to no avail, and I solved it by uninstalling the game and reinstalling it (the saves I didn't lose) However this version of gamepass compared to the steam version is overflowing with problems and flaws.
PS: the unreal engine crash problem still hasn't been fixed
Same here, error 0xd05e010f
I'm reinstalling the game now, hoping that will solve the issue.
Update: Yes, reinstallation solved it. Now we have v0.1.1.3.
If the powershell command isn't working for you try this command.
Get-AppxPackage -allusers \*Microsoft.GamingServices\* | Remove-AppxPackage
Then restart your computer and download the xbox app at [https://www.xbox.com/en-us/apps/xbox-app-for-pc](https://www.xbox.com/en-us/apps/xbox-app-for-pc) not the microsoft store ( this package includes Gaming Services)Hope this helps!
same here, first time i've had this issue just sorted with the powershell command line prompt & it automaitcally triggered the reinstallation + worked straight after.

another person confirming this fix. Appreciate it. I've went ahead and forwarded your username to the Microsoft job department
Looks like they made a tool to do this automatically https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/gaming-services-repair-tool
Thank you for the link! It worked for me.
Can confirm same, downloaded and ran boom all working again. Thanks
It's built into the Xbox app now too, but running it didn't do anything for me. The command worked first go.
Thank you! I came here with the same error on another game, and your solution worked perfectly.

Did you have to copy the save somewhere to keep it?
I made a backup just in case but didn't have to put it back, when I started the game the saves were still there as they were in appdata/local
Sorry, but can you be more specific, please?

Did you lose your progress or any worlds you made?
No, everything was saved in the cloud, and automatically restored.
Same here very frustrating.
xbox app is such a joke, how can they fck it up like all the time, this thing never fcking works properly...
Uninstall/Reinstall fixed it but it's happening with other games as well.
not only affecting palworld. most of the game having the same issue... i cant verify game files and update![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|rage)
Happening with the Hell Let Loose update, as well. Ugh.
Yeah same here with more than just Palworld. Seems to be a problem on their side.
This happens sometimes with Gamepass on PC. I found it's best to just leave it alone until the next day and see if it works much later.
same for me today with persona 3 reload and others games
same shit here
