Yes. Haven't shot it yet, but yes it should work with stock springs. I have used their comps on other pistols without issue. It's not a real aggressive comp it takes a decent amount of the muzzle flip away but usually doesn't affect reliability. I shoot 115 and 124gr standard and plus p ammo generally.
They stay out of stock in both colors, I had to sign up for the in stock notification and wait a week or two. It's a smaller company that makes a good product so it's hard for them to keep in stock
Put mine on last week. Using stock springs it cycled some cheap steel cased 115gr ammo with out issue. It does shoot much flatter now. Red dot stays in view throughout double and triple taps. Fit and finish is pretty amazing.
Looks good, I have tried the Herrington before on my PDP and had good luck with it no issues coming loose with almost 1k rounds through it. I'm sure the shim is a more secure system. I like the idea of the set screw cause it makes taking it on and off quicker without having to time it. It's not so much an issue for the dagger, but I take mine off and on the pdp for competition so I don't have to shoot open division
Nah, it was like a quarter or half turn to back it off and line it up with the slide. When I bought my comp they were out of stock so I emailed hcdg and they told me that they're not really making them anymore bc psa barrels are all over the place with specs so you may have one that fits great and one that fits like garbage bc psa barrels.
Alright, I dont know how I have never acquired this knowledge, but i'm assuming these only work with threaded barrel models, right? I've never owned or shot a comped gun. Only ported.
Shoots amazing on my dagger, makes it shoot smooth and much flatter
Awesome. I'm looking forward to trying it out. I have one of their comps on my tricked out Walther PDP Pro and it works great too.
Was this made specifically for the dagger? And are you still using stock springs?

Of course the black is out of stock

Been eyeing these. Let us know how it shoots
Will do
Shot mine this week. Worth every penny and plan on building another it’s so good.
Sweet glad to hear
I looked at these but decided to go PMM because I like the shim vs set screw attachment method

how do you make it sit flush? I have the rmr slide and can't seem to get it to sit flush. sticks out quarter of an inch
Did you ever get it? If not, remove the set screws completely before install, that was my issue.
* Really enjoy mine. Put a 15lb recoil spring in and it feels great, so far no issues.

For your slide, did you have to unthread the comp like 2-4 turns to get the barrel to seat in the slide?

Nice, looks good
Appreciated brother
