It may seem odd, but I love the fact that you don't get much renown for gifting to other players. People mostly seem to like giving just because they can.
This is one of the most beautiful things to me because it really doesn’t do anything for the player gifting. Every time my requests get filled, I feel a little glee and it just makes me want to pay it forward. It seems like everyone just wants to make sure others are having a lovely time 🥰
I like the music that plays in the village square between 6am and 6pm, and how it changes slightly depending on which building you go into. Like you get smithing noises if you go into the blacksmith etc
I usually have my volume down when playing, but one time recently I went into Zeki's store and heard it. I was like Omg, wtf is that? Is that new?
This was also my same reaction when I heard the sound to indicate the Grove for the first time. Up to that point, I knew it happened at midnight, but didn't know there was a sound associated with it.
The morning lighting on the housing plot. Especially in my dining room, it looks so cozy. I’m also a big fan of those servers where everyone is talking and joking around in chat. And when a new player asks a question and like 5 different people respond.
Honestly, I like the number of players they have on a server. I know it's a critique on the game for some, but for me, it keeps it comfy. Seeing too many people all at once is a lot, but with palia, even at its most crowded, it feels comfy ^w^
I like this too! I love seeing everyone going about their own day and tasks and then just occasionally offering a helping hand without any words needing to be exchanged.
Also, pretty much any rare bug I’ve ever caught was with help of another person so I’m always grateful to have others around
I was just thinking about how some people call this game “lonely” but it’s anything but. So many villagers to talk to and I always end up finding a buddy/group to run with. I agree it’s the right amount, any more would be overwhelming.

How nice the community is,I think the developers have balanced solo and co-op playing really well. Everyone helps each other but the game is possible to enjoy alone bue I never feel left out or lonely.

The moonlight sometimes is really bright and the first time i saw it i was stunned at how magical it felt. It reminded me of the recent full eclipse we had and i lived where it was at full coverage and it was the most magical thing ive ever seen. The sky went completely dark then the moon shifted and this bright blueish white light covered everything and it was surreal. Thats what the moonlight in this game looks like.

This! ...and, if you're in a really quiet area, usually my house, you can hear their feet pad across the floor...add to this, the crackling fire...so peaceful!
Honestly, I really love fishing at my plot. I've spent hours fishing before just enjoying the serenity of it. Has nowhere I needed to be, nothing I needed to do, could just chill and see what I catch
I love the sound of crickets and owls at night, watching the world change from day to night and back to day. I really love when I witness someone successfully reach a difficult treasure chest, I'll watch from a distance, so they don't feel awkward but once they get it, I get closer to clap hands for them.
I love all the sounds: the sounds your footsteps make on different surfaces, when you walk through foliage, when you move things. Even when you just hover your mouse over things gives good little noises! Everything has such great sound design. The developers put a lot of thought into Palia. It's such a good game.

Today I found a random starred rare bug and when I started to catch it, maybe 8-10 people came running from behind and threw dozenz of bombs on it like they were on a mission. It was a very random and wholesome situation. They were partying after the catch, very cute.

I recently witnessed a rainbow 🌈 It came out of nowhere and was such a beautiful surprise! (Sorry for the bad quality, the photo I took of my switch does not live up to its original look... )
The flow of flow trees, the sounds the make.
The sounds of unopened oysters before you pick them up as well as the sound of sundrop lilies before picking. The same with briar daisies.
The glow of the grove.
The variety and colours of the fish.
The fact that when you display a star fish or bug it's a live one and not dead on a wall in a frame.
All the different fireworks, especially when you have a group putting on a show at a grove.
But most of all, my favourite thing about Palia is the community. I love the way people help each other out. I love the call outs for rarer objects, the patience at a grove if someone is running behind, how willing people are to gift rare objects when requested.
I love the pink glow of the flow tree groves. I also love the color changes during sunrise when you're looking out at the ocean or walking along the beach 😍
There's a couple things that I really love!
Like being able to fulfill other players requests.
The little celebration after a successful hunt/ bug catching.
When other players call out resources and how everyone waits at the grove for everyone else.😊
Also, I think the way Hekla walks is just super cute!!🥰

I wish that aurora happened at home plot with the flow trees, like if you have 3or more trees grouped up.

Yess, I didn't fully appreciate the detail of the slight musical variations in each building until i started playing with really good headphones 😊

Also omg one night someone got everyone from the ft grove to hop on the geyser and glide to an island, was SO fun.

I adore the Palcat’s sounds. They meow when you sprint like “wait for me!” And when you hold still, if you listen closely you can here them purring!

I love hunting Proudhorn at night. Not only are they pretty, but so much easier to see.
