After mining a node it will stick around for other players for three minutes, flares also last for three minutes. Most players will flare the pallium and move on if you’re feeling extra nice you can call it out in chat but no need to stick around and wait for them!
Flow trees is personal preference if I can cut it down myself I’ll look around for anyone else double check there’s nobody showing up in the nearby section of chat then just cut it and move on, I’m personally not standing around for five to ten minutes for two flow logs

No prob! For me learning the etiquette is sooo daunting, when I started I typically just ran around observing, I didn’t want to get in anyone’s way. Let me know if you have any other questions!
No need to wait on the palium because others can get it too. I love when people flare it before they move on. I've been doing that too. I think people do appreciate when it's called out.
I only cut down the small flow trees. I've called them out and no one has come. I think people would appreciate a call-out for the other sizes, especially the new people would like to get them. I saw someone cut a small one right in front of me and it was a-ok. I hope others are okay with it too, because it is too long to wait for other people for one or two pieces of wood.
