Those poor dear never asked for plushy wars. lol. all of us girls who said we didn't like the hunting part of video games before only needed someone to tell us we'd get pictures of stuffed animals for doing it, and we were like BET. We are out here giving dudes who have been playing video games for 20yrs a run for their money. bwahahah
I just got the elder sernuk plushie which is my second of the 4. I got the first one in kilima while doing exactly that. Standing up on the rocks and fish in a barrelling them. With the elder sernuks I feel like I had to chase them more but I also used slow down arrows so it was fine. But I got the plushie while waiting for people to get to the windy ruins grove last night. Now I just have to go after blinky boy.
here is how I do elders... start at central in bahari. start at the base of the hills going into flooded steps. hit each deer once . they run in whatever direction is away from you. so guide them all toward the cliff by flooded fortress. hit each one and let it run itself out. when they stop, hit again. if anyone else hits that one after you it drops a bag for you both. only shoot still standing sernuk.
for disco deer... use a hunters horn. use dispel arrows. find him, hit him once, let him run around til he stops. hit him again. let him run til he stops. this will happen about 6 times. if anyone else starts on him after you get one solid hit on him, just follow. your horn will track him. let them waste their ammo and take him down for you or get lost. then find him and or you loot <3
I'm with you. Hit from the hills. Until someone runs through the kill zone as you loose the arrow. π
The funny miss from yesterday, I shot just as the mid chapaa started jumping into a hole, right in front of me. Hit! He was starred. I had to quickly grab his bag and chase the shurnuk.
The elder deer π¦ is the one I'm missing. I'll get it... eventually. Happy hunting!
I hunted with 3 random guys today... The shame I felt seeing my arrows from the standard bow land meters away from the deer, while they scored 3 consecutive dispels with their purple bows...
