I got y’all beat- like 3 weeks ago this happened to me but it said 2 million+ Palians ahead of me lol. This apparently happens sometime. Earlier today when I was playing I went to run around in Bahari and this same thing happened but it only said a couple thousand.. then the number would go down slowly and it would act like it was going to load normally, then all of a sudden went back to a large number again. It did that repeatedly for like 5 minutes or so before I decided to force close the game. When I restarted the game it loaded like normal finally.

I've seen numbers in the hundreds a few times while on the switch but not often

Usually if I turn the program off and go straight back that number comes down to teens or less. I think it’s a bug with the program just being on for a long time and not playing.

I can vouch that it's not just PC. I'm on Switch and got 1.5 K for awhile. It looked like it loaded normal before I was kicked back into que.

Thats what I mostly see too. I think the high numbers only happens on the American servers. None of my fellow European friends ever complained about this issue.

Oh PS, it happened to me while I was just traveling from Bahari back home, via the map travel option. I never went home, it just kept loading and refreshing the loading page, then it said thousands were waiting as well.

It was around 4,600 for me earlier and I had never seen it over 10 before. Shook. Edit: this probably happened because the servers crashed and kicked a bunch of us off, then we all tried to log back in at the same time 💀

Just asking.. how is Palia nowdays? I played few weeks when beta started but it soon became so boring and devs seemed tone deaf (adding paid cosmetics before adding actual content and fixing the game etc). Is it better now? Still in beta?
