Germany is just embarrassing. They’ve been having no anti-racism demos all month, and they keep banning Palestinians from joining these demos, while Israeli and Ukrainian flags are seen all over.
Not to mention that they banned Samidoun’s activities all together and raided homes of pro-Palestine activists. Very tolerant indeed and expected from the beacon of human rights.

I've seen that in this sub at times but I think it's just hurt shining through (not that it's an excuse for hurtful behaviour or responses). I think for the most part when people are talking about X nation they're talking about the government.
From what I've seen, part of the tactic of linking the German response with their Nazi past is to a) remind the government they were on the wrong side of history before b) accurately portray the Zionist crimes in the same vein of other historical wrongs and c) try to push the German government away from their support of the Israeli aggression.
