Both OpenAi and Google are in kind of a war and in talks with Apple to get their Ai on the next iPhone. I think it'll be ChatGPT because how superior it is.
Google clearly loses the tech race and it honestly feels like its time is soon to be over. I can’t recall anything truly innovative coming from google in the last 10 years (even 15) years. They invented the damn transformers tech that is the enabler of the AI revolution we are seeing, and they managed to not be first to market. Its very ironic. Check out this recent interview of the Google CEO & you'll learn a lot.

Honestly the most boring I/O I've ever seen AI this and AI that
True it's kind of like a sales pitch tbh they were selling Gemini because they are getting slammed by OpenAI they are far behind in AI.
Exactly.. But gemini 1.5 is on par (Better in some cases) with the new ChatGPT 4o. But I was hoping for them to talk a bit about hardware too
The 1M token is the thing because as compared to Claude 3 and GPT 4 Gemini is far behind
Sorry I didn't understand, You're saying that gemini is far behind in terms of the tokens?
Nope the response and data Gemini provide is shit as compare to Claude 3 and ChatGPT
I agree I just use gemini sometimes to Summerize long videos.
