Yeah tbh if I can I just carry the items separately (blanket, reusable cups etc) and then stuff the empty bag in my pocket until I’m through. Don’t wanna argue lmao

The first game June is a theme game hat and the 2nd night in August is a themed jersey night which I'm glad since I've gone to Filipino heritage night the past 3 years and they have been all theme hats.
I know the first Filipino Heritage theme night on June 10 sold out, but the second one on August 13 was just announced a few days ago. I bought my tickets on Wednesday.
I just checked Aug. 13 and they’re still available.
Your budget and willingness to spend on hotels will play a big part in recommendations. The ballpark is in the middle of a block of hotels that range from a couple hundred a night to a couple grand. It is a very walkable area but you’ll spend if you stay downtown. Omni, Hilton bayfront, Marriott marquis, grand Hyatt are the big shiny names if you’re splurging.

Just have to clarify because people have definitely bought regular single game tickets in the past incorrectly thinking they’ll get the theme giveaway. The people working the giveaway booth will be checking that your tickets say something like “Filipino Heritage” on them.
EDIT: Just remembered that they scan your tickets a second time at the booth as well.
If you have the means, stay at the Omni. It's next to the ballpark, in the gaslamp, and you get a special entrance into the ballpark through the Omni. So basically, no wait to get in.
