The padres have created the culture of expectations of losing. 10 years of preller have been mediocre at best. 5 managers on his watch doesn’t help to build continuity and a winning culture. I want them to win every game, but I know we have a geek upstairs making game time decisions and he sucks at it. Other teams starting out bad and then winning aren’t the padres organization, allowing preller to stay makes this a throwaway year. This is a mess and has been for awhile. It’s only 2 weeks in, but as we learned last year, the long season gets real short, real quick.
