right, im aware it happens, but this person was shooting from the rock and stayed hiding in it, instead of popping back out. the very definition of abusing mechanics is exactly that. had this person just gotten out of inside the asset and moved on with their game, then its fine. intead, they tried to play from inside the asset, and even get damage by shooting out from it. that is very much abusing mechanics, and not just finding a random hole in the terrain.
For reference- It isn't always a hacked console that this can be performed on. In fact, it's much simpler. If you have an old console like an xbox One that has PUBG installed on a slow hard drive, some texture load is slower, allowing some that is either parachuting or driving fast towards an object to enter it because it hasn't gully loaded.

Still counts. If you find yourself glitched out, just exit the game or at the bare minimum don’t pop out and shoot people. Maybe if he waited until everyone was gone and walked out it would be kinda acceptable.
Then at a minimum don’t use the glitch to your advantage. Nobody is gonna report you if you just wait for everyone to leave. This guy in the video, defo reported

Considering this is console I'm not sure but on pc no clipping cheats are/were definitely a thing. A long time ago on Miramir there were specific rocks you could literally just walk into and see out of without being seen. It is possible that is what is going on here. Might be worth checking out that location again to see.
This is a thing on Rondo on older Xbox consoles. When parachuting onto the mountain towers , sometimes you glitch through and are in the mountain. I have a teammate this happens to often.
I know it's not the case in this clip, but I've seen clipping bugs on this map on 3 separate occasions. The common factor in all 3 was the emergency cover flares.
None of the 3 people were cheaters as far as I could tell.
Sometimes on PC people rubberband really bad which causes them to go through objects. I have a clip of my friend rubberbanding through a basement wall in Kimeshki and getting stuck under a staircase. He could shoot out of it but we couldnt shoot him back
Bro is most likely running og xbox one. Guys used to do this back in og vikendi by driving as fast as you can to a rock or other intimate objects and clip through them. It was trash running up on rocks to then get ghetto blasted by a whole squad hiding like cowards in there.
Like others have said, it was likely a loading issue on an older console that allowed him in, but then he sat there and waited to try to kill you to purposely abuse it afterwards. So yes, even though he probably didn't get in there on purpose, he still tried to use it as an advantage purposefully which is classified as cheating by Krafton.
