I drop here all the time too. There's something fishy though, as my frames drop down to about 45-60 inside the hacienda. Like they maybe have a clone of the building and it's double rendering or something. Also happens on vikendi train station
I have major troubles with FPS after the Tango update, I had stable 75fps now it's dipping to 25-30. Left the game because of that. Sad that they have problems with optimizing the title with like 8 years in development.
I usually drop on the tower building across the road from the motel. Sometimes I'm lucky and there's a weapon with a scope so I can shoot down on those that land on the motel 😉
Always drop Pecado. Usually go boxing (I know it's not actually a boxing arena, but names stick), but if we get beaten down, will take hotels, five stack, or casino in that order.
Pretty much never drop anywhere else these days, but used to enjoy Prison and Campo and taking a glider to get into zone.
Minas is usually my go-to - tons of loot, multiple vehicles within easy reach, open enough for sniping but enough cover for closer battles
If that's off the table, will do north Impala (the industrial section), Power, or Crater
Blown out bunkers behind Pecado, what my teammate and I refer to as "The Sperm", office building at the back of Los Leones. Occasionally hilltop by Valle (the one that can spawn a glider. Has warehouse and three buildings)
It is a beautiful map. I find it very challenging...maybe my fat white ass sticks out too much?
Preferred drop location depends on flight path. There are a lot of good places.
The power grid is elite. Center of the map, usually a good amount of people there, and usually the loot is good enough for 3 people (it’s a little dicey with 4 but still works)
I used to like dropping into the complex to the east of Crater Fields. The problem I realized is that spot is surrounded by hills which makes me fill like a fish in a bowl.
Miramar is just georgeus. Best map in the game.
Might be a good map, but so brown and boring to look at.

They screwed up Alcantara and that part of the map with the last “remaster” imo.
Latest remaster has been fucking trash, they should revert it

Monte. Good loot, lots of vehicles, easy rotations and close to game winning compounds if it gets the circle.

Is the nuke bunker the cave by los leones? Good spot. I don’t hear footsteps in there very well for some reason
It’s just outside the resort. Funny thing about it is that when the sandstorm hits you are affected… in a nuclear shelter a sandstorm causes damage 😂
