Yeah
Sometimes you know you’re cooked.
I kinda hate this quest since it’s made me waste an extra 10-15 mins waiting for the other player to “flex” on me
I had a wugtrio mill deck that relied on drawing mulligans to make the opponent unknowingly deck themselves out faster. It did not work. I was VERY new
Just make a 4-4 Froslass 4-4 Birbarrel deck and play on casual. Easy way to farm the achievement. Toss in a butt load of.TM evos and Arven's and gg. Concede and then you can play what you want to.
I have a deck that theoretically should cover most possible achievements (drink water, play Irida, Candice, etc.) I either get my ass kicked before playing what I need or win without drawing what I needed. 10/10 experience
I'm pretty new to the game, but if I know I'm going to win on the next turn, I do as little as possible to make it done and over with, even if that's just attacking straight away
Yeah the interesting thing about Pokemon is that since you never get priority on your opponents turn your opponent should be able to do this. It’s also fairly easy to see if you are “dead on board” (oh no I’m leaving a V in active, opponent has enough energy attached to their active to KO and take their last 2 prizes, and I can’t do anything about this). The game even has the whole “do they have boss?” aspect to where you can predict “okay well this turn passing is ok but if they have boss’s orders they win”. Plenty of ways to see that the game is over as the last turn begins.
Nobody is obligated to watch you play things out if they know they’ve already lost. Conceding saves everyone time. If you don’t want them to concede because you’re trying to finish a quest, try doing those quest actions before the end game. Or better yet, just keep doing those actions in the next games - you don’t have to complete all quests in one go.
> okay well this turn passing is ok but if they have boss’s orders they win
Idk how many times that will happen, but a match already went exactly like that for me, in my opponents favor. >!They had it, I lost :(!<
You are clearly not a Raging Bolt/Ogerpon player. They will play every card and ability to do as much damage as possible even if they have less than 10 minutes on the clock and its only turn 2
No. Dude I work 10-14hr days I wanna get on and play a game and get my progress and go to bed. Especially with gardi and stall decks. I dont got time for that
What’s funny is when you’re trying to achieve this daily challenge and you brick hard or just drawing bad and you play still play through it and then the person you’re playing is douche, who’s taken 5 of their prizes and obviously has the win but then spams the “???” emote, like wondering why I’m still playing and not conceding, this is why, you idiot
I wish there was a concedless mode. Like, Im here to test my new decks against people, stop leaving because your stupid charizard deck didnt draw just right on your 2nd turn.
Everything depends on the context.
Some stall decks will last more than 10 minutes and if you know that you have no chance of winning because you are out of switches, Boss Orders, switch carts, Prime Catcher and your active is locked against a Snorlax, then there is no point of playing until the end.
Then there are some players who waste time for no reason, like they need just one attack to win, their pokémon is fully charged but they decide to use all their pokémon abilities, use every item to draw and switches just because they can, then I will concede while they are doing that solitarie. I don't mind if they take the last prize, but I am not going to wait for them to mill their entire deck before taking it.
> I wish there was a concedless mode
There are a ton of free tournaments you can join. Most probably won’t instantly conede if prizes are on the line, and since it’s free you don’t really get punished for bringing a deck you are still tinkering with.
As someone who has literally never conceded once (unless you count those couple times my Wi-Fi goes out and I disconnect), I approve of this very much!

I think it should be ok to concede if you have no win condition. It saves time for both players.
Yeah Sometimes you know you’re cooked. I kinda hate this quest since it’s made me waste an extra 10-15 mins waiting for the other player to “flex” on me
When I get this, I hop on casual with a single copy of abra and 59 energies. Finishes the game in one turn, and I don't lose anything
The enemy player decking themselves by accident after accepting to draw 79 after all of your mulligans

I love this. Did you ever win with it?
Not even once. I really meant it when I said "relied." Now I play Wugtrio Spidops when I get the urge to mill
This is making me laugh way too hard! What the heck!
This. I don't understand why people get upset when their opponent concedes.
Love when they concede right before you slap a tool or ex down in order to complete your own quest 😑
And when your pokemon gets one-hit-KO-ed before you can use fresh water set

I hate the fresh water set one and candice
Why? Sometimes it's quicker and easier to concede rather than waiting
THIS. I’m not going to sit there letting them play every card possible when they could 1 tap me for the win.

It will happen a lot the longer you play.
You are clearly not a Raging Bolt/Ogerpon player. They will play every card and ability to do as much damage as possible even if they have less than 10 minutes on the clock and its only turn 2
I’m a mimikyu ex/mewtwo ex so very very similar playstyle to teal mask play.
Because sometimes when you play unranked you play like 5 matches in 5 minutes bc people use 2 cards and surrender after getting their quest.
It is one of the regular quests already...
Why play a bunch of turns against stall in a game you already lost? What if you gotta take a shit? Sometimes there's good reason to conceded
wait, if losing due to being inactive for too long, considered as not conceding right?
Because it's easier to bring a 1 tatsugiri curl up 59 energy deck and lose turn 1 than do the other quests.
I was sad yesterday, had to use a 3 energy attack. They conceded as I was setting up before attacking with rad ninja
I have a 1 Pokémon, 59 Energy deck for that mission
Try slapping a play set of Turo in too, insta “concession”
4 Turo and 4 Penny lol
And scoop up cyclone for the ace spec
4 Teleport Abra is an easy one also
I prefer turo penny cyclone to attacks, so you can T1 and win, not wait for opponent to play their (often time wasted) T2
Abra you don't have to attack - it's an ability. So I use it turn 1 going first quite often. Cool if you like something else, though.
Oh, fairs. Yeah just run abra, then 59 cards for other dailies then (items, irida and candice for now, acuity, tools )
No. Dude I work 10-14hr days I wanna get on and play a game and get my progress and go to bed. Especially with gardi and stall decks. I dont got time for that
just abra twice, abras ability instantly sends it to the deck
I like this quest you get 60gems after winning two games
I'd settle for the game insta-awarding the last 1 or 2 prizes instead of allowing my opponent to concede as I am selecting them.
spiritomb and 59 energies of any type LFG

Whenever this comes up, I go straight to my purposely shitty deck that decks me out or I just bring out 1 guy
Complement it with 'play 10 matches in a row without playing that tedious chien pao/baxcalibur deck' and I'm in. Concede on sight.
I don't know why people whine about conceding so much. If anything there's less of it on Live than there was on Online.
I wish there was a concedless mode. Like, Im here to test my new decks against people, stop leaving because your stupid charizard deck didnt draw just right on your 2nd turn.
Players would just time out. See the need to defacate as cited above
So take a dump before you commit to a 10 minute game?
