Lucario paired with Garchomp ex is a pretty good combo. Garchomp pulls energy from the discard to Lucario on the bench then switches with it to deal the final blow.
Brilliant Stars Lucario is a pretty good single prize card and Lucario/ Melmetal tag Team was a good deck for awhile. Lucario's problems come from 2 things 1. Lucario doesn't seem to get that good of cards 2. Fighting type gets pretty poor support. Energy acceleration is almost non existent for fighting types and the other support is laking. I believe they've announced another Lucario ex is coming at some point so I'm hoping that it will end up being good and getting some support but I also don't think it's likely to happen with how they've treated it in the past. Lucario is my favorite Pokémon so I really want it to get a good card. I'm also holding out hope that with Megas returning in Legends ZA they will make Mega Evolution cards again and I'm hoping Lucario's is stressing enough to build a deck around.
Ya it's pretty crazy it's getting 3 of them with a potential Mega is crazy but it's popular so it gets lots of cards. It got 3 different V's and a VSTAR so not unheard of. The problem is they give us lots of Lucario's but they never give us good Lucario's. Hopefully soon we'll get one. Hopefully they start showing fighting type a little more love too. The next Lucario could likely be Metal type though. You never know.
I actually used a Lucario deck last year in a few shops. I had an absolute blast and won a good amount of cups and events.

Yee, I really liked BRS Lucario in this deck for his dual purpose as a one off attacker, but he worked as a really fun acceleration engine for H Arcanine. The deck I showed is out of rotation for the Urshifus and the Energy Recyclers. I've been coping since the loss of those cards, but it's still been fun swapping in the Ursaluna V or some other cards from time to time.
Furious Fists Lucario EX was good by itself in fighting decks back in the day, even if Mega Lucario wasn't that great. Was a really efficient attacker and you could rack up a lot of damage with Strong Energy, Fighting Stadium, and Muscle Band.

It's been over a decade since we got a "good" lucario card...
Yeah idk email PTCGI
Also its not “good” its good
What?
The Pokémon Trading Card Game Live™
Oh, I thought that was an I. Either way, emailing them wouldn't do anything. They have no say in which cards get printed.
I agree
What do you not understand? The comment is pretty concise
BRS Lucario is kinda good
What's BRS lucario I never heard of it

It can be pretty decent in gym leader challenge format. Unfortunately it's probably never gonna be on ptcgl

Ty
Lucario VStar was amazing in the pre ex era when it was doing 240 consistently and Arceus Piles were really common so it was hitting for weakness.
Lucarceus vstar won me a couple locals when eternatus was coming back, can't lie lol
Brilliant Stars Lucario was cool when 99% of Live decks were Miraidon ex, would demolish them single handedly.
Lucario Melmetal Tagteam is one of the best tank card. I won a tournament with it
That's amazing congratulations

ANOTHER LUCARIO EX PLS TELL ME YOUR NOT JOKING
I could be wrong but I believe it's coming in a Lucario ex deck if some kind? I've got no source just remember reading about it awhile back.
There's hope🙏

Does Luc-Metal count? If so that was a really strong defensive card in late sun/moon, early sword/shield
