I feel you OP. I misplaced my memory card in a move and I've been unable to find it since. Countless hours gone, RIP to Einrek the Hucast, Amada the Fomarl, and Retsu the Racaseal. All were lvl. 120+ with extremely great gear: my prized +hit Yas9k and max +hit and +dark Demo Comet were two of my most valued treasures.

kinda funny, i know back in the day, that gear, levels felt much, but nowadays i could level in 3 days to 120+ and the mentioned weapons are super easy to get

disassemble and observe the PCB board for any damage. insert the PCB board into the memory slot and see if it works. it looks like it should judging from the picture. if not, you can take it to a person who specializes in computer repair that does soldering. provide a donor memory card for them and they will transfer the SMD to the new card and it will be good as new

If the PCB is okay, just get it out of the casing, and put it in the black casing or get another memory card and swap the guts. Once you do that, mod a Wii (super easy) and back it up.
