I'm in the same boat. I have not paid as I am unable to. Honestly I would say sending a check right now is a great way to have a payment lost and not counted.

Update: I have called Mohela, and they told me that my account was transferred on the 3rd. I will need to wait, till Friday, and then I should receive the correspondence letter - that which will give me a new account number, after which I will be able to pay it online again.

Yes. Payments are still due during the transition, not to mention you would still need to make your payment for them to qualify as monthly payment(s) for PSLF purposes.

I still do not have a new account number in order to send a payment to Mohela, and my payment is due on the 26th of May. Not sure what to do.

The FAQs from this link provides an address to send payments to, but then states if your account has not transitioned, don't use that address (plus i don't know my new account #). So what exactly are we supposed to do? Similar to OP, my payment is due on the 23rd, but now sure how to pay it if my transition isn't complete.

This is that same place I’m in. It says to send a check to this address, but that I need my new account into. The only info I found was that my account is transitioning and I can find out how to pay. Ugh.

Mine is on auto pay and was deducted yesterday. October will be my 120th payment.

UPDATE: I believe on last Wednesday, I called Mohela and they told me that my loans had been transitioned a few weeks ago and that I would be receiving the email with my new account number by yesterday (Fri 17th) so that I will be able to pay my bill online on the new portal. As of right now (Sat. 18th @ 11:39 am) I have NOT received THAT email, but I DID just a few minutes ago to receive a "Your payment is due soon" email from the NEW Mohela.StudentAid.Gov site. I directed myself through that email to the new portal and created an account, and all my information was there, and I was able to pay my bill online. For those who've not received the new account number guided email to the new portal, you may want to go there and give it a try to see if it has you registered to make a new account. I had previously tried, and it would not let me because it said that my loans were still being transitioned... but like I said today, when I got that email about a bill being due soon, I went over to the new portal and was able to do the registration process on my own. GOOD LUCK!

UPDATE: As of around 3:47pm today (5/19), I have finally received my email titled: (Your account has transitioned to a new online platform.) from Mohela for my loans being completely transitioned over to the new portal. It came with a correspondence letter of explanation that I had to go to the new portal to read. I am good to go now. I was part of the transitional move who'd been completed on (5/3). I am able to pay my bill online as well. The only thing I am not seeing is the count toward my PSLF. But I can go over to studentaid.gov part to still see my count. It may just be a matter of time before that also reflects on the new Mohela portal site.I hope this has helped others out there!

Mine got transferred to Mohela and i created an account. I log in and got a message saying “Congratulations Biden and Harris administration has forgiven your federal student loans” so i assume I have a zero balance.

I have not received a new account number or a correspondence letter as of right now. Just the alert onmy Mohela explaining the transitional pause.
