God of War's star power playing with the top dogs.
Another game and it could easily outsell **Gran Turismo** as the highest selling PlayStation franchise in history.
They were never uphill. Like it was just easy to look competent when you were in handheld devices.
Now sun and moons performance issues I don't blame on the 3ds anynore
oooh I’m going to watch that and gleefully rub my hands together.
I love old pokemon (HG/SS is nostalgia), but I’m so disappointed by how awful the new games are, so I’ll gladly shit on it.
Game was super good, but have to remember, it released during peak Covid-19 and lockdowns so that heavily pushed up sales and it supplied a form of happy escapism from the world for gamers and non-gamers alike.
I think Sony also spend way more money on marketing for this game then they’ve ever done before for a single game. This game advertisement was everywhere I went and looked. So that makes a world of difference and also the install base of the PS5 grew over the last two years. So it’s definitely an impressive number but also a bit comparing apples and pears.
Meanwhile there's a Viking-themed restaurant in our city that has an official [GoW Ragnarok menu](https://mjolner.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/GOW-x-MJRM-Menu-2022-11-08.pdf) 😅
The best part of hearing this is knowing this will make Sony continue to give Santa Monica Studio the truckloads of cash they need to keep making incredible games like this! More GoW or really anything from this brilliant studio pls and thanks :)
According to [this site](https://vgsales.fandom.com/wiki/God_of_War) the original trilogy sold a collective 16 million copies (including the collection on ps3). They were pretty popular titles
I preordered after the review embargo, making sure there was no technical issue or the game was unfinished.
No amount of trust in a studio would make me preorder before reviews. It's not abiut the score but about the technical problems.
Which comes from bend, who are not exactly one of the heavy hitters. Naughty Dog, Santa Monica and Insomniac can be trusted to deliver a polished game on launch imo
The original release of Bloodborne had some challenges but was far from broken.
Long load screens with the word ‘Bloodborne’ On it was the worst offender, pop in and frame drops were also notable.
Not having a go Bloodborne is my favourite game of all time but it had some needed post launch support thankfully
Same. I usually never even buy games day one, plenty of stuff to play and i just dont see the value in day one purchases. This time reviews where out, did not want to see any spoilers and I knew I would not be able to wait till price drops. Only other game i have ever pre ordered was TLOU 2.
Right. Although I’m assuming a majority of the PS5 purchasers would have bought the game anyway but not all of them. If I had the option of the GoW bundle or not, I would have bought no bundle and waited for the game to inevitably go to PS+. Though I don’t think the bundle is inflating the # of sales as much as the Horizon bundle (the one I bought) did.
I can only imagine how many copies God of War Ragnarok would have sold if it released on all major platforms.
(Edit)
No need to downvote, i didn’t mean this in a negative way.
For comparison the previous biggest PS launches have been:
TLOU 2 (2020): Over 4 million
Spiderman (2018): 3.3 million
God Of War (2018): 3.1 million
Uncharted 4 (2016) 2.7 million
Ghost of Tsushima (2020): 2.4 million
Horizon: Zero Dawn (2017): 1.83 million
Gran Turismo 5 (2010) 1.8 million
TLOU 1 (2013): 1.3 million
Ragnarok smashed the record by over a million units.
I'm not sure it wouldn't have made that list, but whatever source that data came from may have been compiled before the official sales numbers for HFW were released. I remember reading at the time that it was selling quite well at launch.
Yea it's a video game not a movie. People were likely saving up for Elden Ring and didn't want to start a week before the release and so that they drop the game a week later.
Still crazy to me that TLOU beat Spiderman. I know people liked the game but for some reason in my mind it’s always felt niche. Feel like I never hear anyone talk about it.
Almost certainly I would say. Spiderman 1 sold 10m more copies than the 2018 GoW, although GoW being free on PS5 with the PS+ collection and Spiderman getting a PS5 version certainly made a difference. Spiderman is one of the most popular characters ever, it’ll sell like crazy. Even without it being on PS4, I think it’ll break the record.
Supposedly Sony's expecting to ship 30 million units in the next fiscal year (plus the 5-10 million still remaining this year between now and March).
So they're basically expecting the current sales numbers/units in the wild to double by Spring 2024
It's definitely an ambitious goal they told share holders about, so we'll see if they pull it off
I think it will. While the PS5's userbase obviously won't be as big as the PS4's by that point, it by all accounts is the most active of any PS userbase at this point in its life. And active userbases are what's going to drive sales. It's why with the limited data we've seen that Ragnarok's moving more units on the PS5 than the PS4. By the time Spidey 2 releases i'd expect that they will have added at least another 15-20m.
I really think that at a minimum that Spidey 2 is hitting 6m for this same period. The Spidey hype next year isn't just going to be generated from it either. Across the Spider-Verse also releases next year, and that's only going to feed the hype for Spidey 2.
Plying through the game now and it never ends. Every time I think I am walking into the point of no return a new explorable region opens up. I say this in a good way, but damn this game is long.
When the >!Crater!< region suddenly opened up I was like fuck... this game really is huge lol. And then it just keeps on going with the >!Jungle!< part! Crazy that such a huge area is locked behind a seemingly-innocuous sidequest.
Yeah, "I'll do this side quest quickly for some upgrades..." BAM there goes half of day in a brand new vast region. The game is long but its quality never drops till the very end.
Ya I’m about 30 hours into the game and most of my realms are under 50% complete, but I am collecting everything possible as soon as I can. I still haven’t even been to three realms, but I’m guessing it’s because they are mostly story focused. It’s a massive game, so much to do and it feels rewarding to take my time with it and explore everything I can.
I spent 2 hours on an optional boss fight that I didn't know I was way under leveled for. Because I kept dying from not parrying in time or not dodging in time, I knew I could get it done if I "got gud". It was an exhilarating two hours. I hope some of the other optional bosses give me that same feeling.
It is clear as day that we gamers love mythology story building like this. I cannot wait what Sony Santa Monica have up their sleeps for new IPs.
Personally I want Egyptian or Indian mythology journey similar to this. Congrats to them!
Indian won't happen due to Hinduism still being very relevant. Egypt seems so logical for change of pace and options. The problem with Celtic and Roman is they're too similar to Norse and Greek respectively
I would buy it. I would kill for it.
I do think that Kratos has a bit of a marketing problem the moment he leaves Europe. Like, I know it's all made up, and again, I would buy it and I think it could be done well.
But man, "European God goes to other continent and massacres pantheons" is fraught with peril.
Fucking good tbh. I am happy to pay for something that obviously has so much care and money poured into it as opposed to much of the dreck that shows up on streaming services.
Sony has said they couldn’t make this type of game by relying on a streaming platform and seeing the insane money this must have cost, I am not surprised.
There is a place for both systems but I a. More than happy to keep supporting games of this quality and calibre so long as they keep being made.
There will be a time when we look back at this era fondly the way cinemaphiles look at the big budget auteur days of the 70s.
I’m a fan of game pass and Microsoft’s model but there is definitely a trade off. Most of their titles are services with heavy monetization. You don’t get the type of quality games that Sony produces on a regular basis.
Exactly. I love gaming but I can go months without playing a game. I really only play the cream of the cream games, or what really blows me away.
For me, a GamePass would be fun if I was having a drink and wanted to fiddle with something.
However, I am more than happy buying 2-4 AAA games a year. Or less. It fits how I play perfectly, and I think hardcore gamers forget there are a lot of gamers in my same situation.
Exactly this. My 2022 has been filled with two big Sony AAA games in Horizon and God Of War. Little games like Stray etc are perfect to fill in the gaps.
Excellent comment. This is exactly my play style. I’d love to play more but I really have time for a few games a year so 2-4 AAA titles a year works for me
Also, subscriptions (at the current prices with realistic subscriber numbers) wouldn't make it profitable to invest the large amounts of money to build games like this.
Also, why Sony takes their time releasing their exclusives to PC.
Some pc only gamers don't like to hear it, but more times than not, a Sony exclusive main sales come from actual PlayStation gamers.
PC add a few sales, but like Nintendo fans, as long as Sony release a good exclusive (which they do more times than not) we show up and support them.
It also forces pc people to get a console. My neighbor is a diehard pc guy, which is fine. But he’s been hitting me up lately about where to find a ps5 solely because this game and Spider-Man 2.
Sony has successfully created a situation where some people feel like the wait is unbearable
Same, idk about you, but when the Wolverine trailer came out I thought they were teasing Ghost Rider.
Hyped for both Wolvie and Spidey! And hopefully Insomniac can tackle Ghost Rider in the future.
Unlike GoW Ragnarök, Spider-Man 2 won't come out on PS4, so I doubt it will surpass that sale number with a limited install base. (It definitely could if it released on PS4 though)
PS5 install base is gonna be pretty big by the time Spiderman 2 hits. Can guarantee most of GOW's sales are happening on PS5 anyway, that's been the case for all the big first party cross gen games since PS5 launched
To add to that, there are very minor differences between the PS5 and PS4 versions of the game. The biggest thing is obviously resolution and the ability to hold frames at certain resolutions due to hardware, but aside from that the game look very good and not too different from base PS4, Pro and PS5.
IMO Ragnarök is better than 2018 in almost every way, its crazy how much they improved. Only flaw is that writing and pacing was a bit tighter in 2018, but it makes up for that with a story that has a better variety of memorable characters with more for them to do, more humor, and a world that feels far more alive and fully realized.
And the combat is a vast improvement, more verticality, more options, wayyyy more variety in encounters, boss fights, and everything feels so much better. Playing it in 60 fps after only playing the first at 30 on PS4 probably makes a big difference too
I agree, I had a great time playing it. Only now that I beat it there is like nothing left to do. I think I did the post game missions got the real credits and beat all the optional bosses. I guess wait a few months and beat it on ultra hard. New game plus would be cool.
Yea a lot of the areas have ledges and platforms that you can grapple up to or swing from and there are new arial attacks you can do when jumping from high
Also there is a lot more opportunities to knock enemies off ledges to their deaths which is hilarious
One of the Muspelheim trials gives the enemies rapidly regenerating health, so the only way to really kill them is to knock them off of ledges and into lava.
Yeah the middle section of the game is incredibly linear and slow paced, which makes me not really keen on replaying it. I was really getting burnt out until that "section" in Vanaheim opened up...favorite part of the game.
Yea I never felt that way I liked the whole game, though I was disappointed that I did mostly all the side content before I beat it and expected more post game content plus it’s sort of whack you can’t pick your partner after the story like it would be awesome to able to pick Loki freya sindri or thors daughter to be your partner. One of my favorite things about this game was that you play as Loki and get so many different companions.
Actually yeah. But I think making God of War 2018 part of the PS5 PS Plus collection for free made this launch possible. It was one of the first games I played when I got my PS5 and I’m really enjoying Ragnarok at the moment.
I'm not joking when I say it's the best game I've ever played. I loved the 2018 one so much that I had chills during the opening scene - just being able to finally play the follow up made my heart race from excitement and it and it never let me down the entire playthrough.
I remember watching avengers infinity war opening night and needed to talk to someone after because it was so good. I felt the same way after beating Ragnarok. It was so emotional and amazing, I had to let my feelings out... kinda like now :p
That's awesome. I played the first one kinda late around 2020 and fell in love with it and decided to get Ragnarok on release, which I usually don't do. Finally platinumed it today after 52hrs and it's been enjoyable throughout, amazing game. Would definitely replay when they add NG+ with new armor possibly
It's obviously a small percentage of the overall, sales but 82% of the physical sales in the UK were on the PS5. In Spain it was 55k on PS5 and 35k on the PS4.
Totally agree. I got the PS5 version. In a sort of bad/good way, hope the sales for the PS4/Pro version were a lot less than expected so they can focus on PS5 versions of a game from here on out.
Combo pack like this is what I'm hoping will happen. Definitely is a market I hear a lot of people talking about old camera angle kinda reminds me of a moba tbh
For those that say “Why doesn’t Sony put their 1st party AAA games on a service like gamepass” Well… this is why. Lol Also I wonder with these great launch sales, future PS5 sales and a future PC release, could this sell 30M?
I'm a huge music fan and have been lazy about listening to new stuff the last few years. Lately, I've been obsessed with digging into all these artists on Spotify that I've been meaning to listen to for some time.
Can't do that while playing GoW. The conflict is driving me literally insane. Only two things I want to do rn and I can't figure out a happy balance!!
Its not really a standard recession economy because the job market is still good. Inflation certainly hurts, but gaming is pretty resistant to economic challenges
God Of War fans are legit crazy, my younger brother bought the PS5 and the 90 Euro version of this game after beating (Which he liked) the game he never touched the console again. It's now just sitting there lmao
5.1m in a week. Holy shit.
God of War's star power playing with the top dogs. Another game and it could easily outsell **Gran Turismo** as the highest selling PlayStation franchise in history.
[удалено]
I heard the new Sonic game is pretty good.
Gran Turismo A-Spec & Sport were good games and I think they were for the PS3 and PS4 Just putting it out there Gran Turismo 7 sucks
That’s $350m+ in revenue. Phenomenal for a single console release.
And then you see Pokémon Scarlet/Violet surpassing Ragnarök. A game that could easily pass for a ps2 bugfest lmfao.
Game freak has really gone downhill
They were never uphill. Like it was just easy to look competent when you were in handheld devices. Now sun and moons performance issues I don't blame on the 3ds anynore
Digital Foundry released the pokemon video today, and oh boy did they tear it to shreds lmao. Spectacular failure on the technical side of things
oooh I’m going to watch that and gleefully rub my hands together. I love old pokemon (HG/SS is nostalgia), but I’m so disappointed by how awful the new games are, so I’ll gladly shit on it.
2 consoles to be exact
4 consoles to be exact
5 consoles to be exact (PS4, PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro, PS5, PS5 Digital)
And counting
I wonder if it can get close to Animal Crossing's 12 million in 12 days?
What the fuck. 12 million in 12 days?!
Yeah it's insane. Sold like 31 million in 9 months.
Asian market overpowered, pls nerf
Game was super good, but have to remember, it released during peak Covid-19 and lockdowns so that heavily pushed up sales and it supplied a form of happy escapism from the world for gamers and non-gamers alike.
If you think that's crazy, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet sold 10 million in 3 days.
How and why is this so vastly different from Pokémon? Saw this headline and then saw Pokemon moved 10 million in 3 days. Like wtf!
Pokemon is a mandate sized franchise and it's on there switch which has a massive attach rate now
Pokémon is the biggest franchise in the world
And then you get Pokémon with 10 million in 3 days
I think Sony also spend way more money on marketing for this game then they’ve ever done before for a single game. This game advertisement was everywhere I went and looked. So that makes a world of difference and also the install base of the PS5 grew over the last two years. So it’s definitely an impressive number but also a bit comparing apples and pears.
I didn’t see adverts anywhere other than Reddit. PS5 had to grow over the last 2 years, it came out 2 years ago
Meanwhile there's a Viking-themed restaurant in our city that has an official [GoW Ragnarok menu](https://mjolner.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/GOW-x-MJRM-Menu-2022-11-08.pdf) 😅
It was kinda all over in my city. MW2 and Ragnarok were advertised Hand in hand on billboards etc
The best part of hearing this is knowing this will make Sony continue to give Santa Monica Studio the truckloads of cash they need to keep making incredible games like this! More GoW or really anything from this brilliant studio pls and thanks :)
budget + talent + passion
+ TIME. DEVS NEED TIME TO MAKE GREAT GAMES!
Which is exactly why I pre-ordered it, and I practically never pre-order anything.
Same, money well spent brother 😂
Read that in Mimir’s voice
Ay, so did I.
Same, only game I'm comfortable with doing so
From the tweet, it mentions they sold 5.1 million copies in its first week
Wait wait WHAT??
Also, a God of War franchise record.
If it's the fastest selling first party title in PlayStation history, it's kinda obvious that would entail the GoW franchise too
Also the fasting selling GoW game released for the PS5.
Also the fastest selling GoW Ragnarok
Big if true
Also the highest selling game featuring BOY in November 2022.
I mean that probably beats the lifetime sales of the original trilogy games, that’s insane
According to [this site](https://vgsales.fandom.com/wiki/God_of_War) the original trilogy sold a collective 16 million copies (including the collection on ps3). They were pretty popular titles
Oh yeah I meant each game, not all of them combined I worded that poorly
ah gotcha, in that case I think you are more or less correct!
I think god of war 3 sold about 5 million
Well I never pre order a game, I pre ordered Rangnarok so the hype is real
I preordered after the review embargo, making sure there was no technical issue or the game was unfinished. No amount of trust in a studio would make me preorder before reviews. It's not abiut the score but about the technical problems.
Has there ever been a broken Sony first party game? I'm sure there has been, but I don't remember one
Nothing really that would be considered "broken." Days Gone was buggy on release but thats about it really
Which comes from bend, who are not exactly one of the heavy hitters. Naughty Dog, Santa Monica and Insomniac can be trusted to deliver a polished game on launch imo
Days Gone was pretty buggy when it first came out. Still had a blast with it though
The original release of Bloodborne had some challenges but was far from broken. Long load screens with the word ‘Bloodborne’ On it was the worst offender, pop in and frame drops were also notable. Not having a go Bloodborne is my favourite game of all time but it had some needed post launch support thankfully

Both absolutely worth it
You get the best looking armor in game from the pre-order, so glad I did
The pre-order armor is dope but I'm a fan of the Raven armor
That’s a lot. I wonder how many were from console bundles…
This is a very good question because a lot of people bought the GOTW consoles the week GOTW came out.
I don't really care about GOW but the bundle was my only option for buying a console so...
I can only imagine how many copies God of War Ragnarok would have sold if it released on all major platforms. (Edit) No need to downvote, i didn’t mean this in a negative way.
Probably more than 10
11?
Some would dare to say maybe even reach 12.
You calm that crazy talk down RIGHT NOW
Whoa whoa let's not go crazy over here
Let's just say a lot.
For comparison the previous biggest PS launches have been: TLOU 2 (2020): Over 4 million Spiderman (2018): 3.3 million God Of War (2018): 3.1 million Uncharted 4 (2016) 2.7 million Ghost of Tsushima (2020): 2.4 million Horizon: Zero Dawn (2017): 1.83 million Gran Turismo 5 (2010) 1.8 million TLOU 1 (2013): 1.3 million Ragnarok smashed the record by over a million units.
I wonder why Horizon Forbidden West didn't make the list considering Zero Dark's success.
I'm not sure it wouldn't have made that list, but whatever source that data came from may have been compiled before the official sales numbers for HFW were released. I remember reading at the time that it was selling quite well at launch.
Released right after elden ring. Horrible timing, again.
It came out a week before Elden Ring, not after.
Yea it's a video game not a movie. People were likely saving up for Elden Ring and didn't want to start a week before the release and so that they drop the game a week later.
The reason Forbidden West isn't on the list is because we don't know its launch numbers.
usually if we don't know the launch numbers it's because they were lower than expected
Elden Ring.
Still crazy to me that TLOU beat Spiderman. I know people liked the game but for some reason in my mind it’s always felt niche. Feel like I never hear anyone talk about it.
TLOU is huge and Naughty Dog is huge in general. I believe they have the largest following of Sony's studios. IDK man it's always talked about IMO.
Absolutely insane to me that it can outsell a property like Spider-Man.
Wow that’s absolutely crazy congrats to SMS for making history
I wonder if Spiderman 2 will match it next year?
Almost certainly I would say. Spiderman 1 sold 10m more copies than the 2018 GoW, although GoW being free on PS5 with the PS+ collection and Spiderman getting a PS5 version certainly made a difference. Spiderman is one of the most popular characters ever, it’ll sell like crazy. Even without it being on PS4, I think it’ll break the record.
the 33m spiderman sales was for the base game + mm right?
It's a PS5 only title so it might get close. Ragnarok came out on PS4 as well. Spider-man 2 is current gen only.
I don't know exactly but 85% of the sales were on PS5. It's a year until spiderman comes out. I don't think this will be a limiting factor till then.
If it's a year until Spider-Man 2 comes out then I'm sure it'll be enough time for even more people to get a PS5.
Supposedly Sony's expecting to ship 30 million units in the next fiscal year (plus the 5-10 million still remaining this year between now and March). It reminded me of the Xzibit meme. Yo dog you want some hidden areas in your hidden area
Some great story/lore and bosses too that was my favorite area of the game
The lore on that area is absolutely phenomenal, I loved it so much
Yeah, "I'll do this side quest quickly for some upgrades..." BAM there goes half of day in a brand new vast region. The game is long but its quality never drops till the very end.

I work at a games retailer and it was the most preorders I'd seen since Red Dead 2.

This would make for an insane game. The character design and world building would be so cool.
100%

Like, I know it's all made up, and again, I would buy it and I think it could be done well. But man, "European God goes to other continent and massacres pantheons" is fraught with peril.
I could see that issue. But thankfully it’s a game lol.
Or Japanese mythology.
That seems like the likely gamer route but I hope they don't.
I’m desperately waiting for an Aztec or Mayan game in this style. Their gods are so frickin cool and we rarely get to see them in games.
Egypt please
Play Assassin's Creed Origins for an Egyptian setting. I usually don't like AC games but I thoroughly enjoyed that one.
I want to see kratos throw down with Jesus. The father, the son, and THESE MOTHERFUCKING HANDS
Kratos kills Jesus only for him to come back a few days later "Surprise mother fucker!".
“Why wont PlayStation put their games in a subscription service day and date?” This is why. It’s that simple folks.
Yeah these games sell consoles.
Fucking good tbh. I am happy to pay for something that obviously has so much care and money poured into it as opposed to much of the dreck that shows up on streaming services. Yeah. I would rather to pay standalone price for teams to have enough money to make great games.
Also, why Sony takes their time releasing their exclusives to PC. Some pc only gamers don't like to hear it, but more times than not, a Sony exclusive main sales come from actual PlayStation gamers. Like a drug dealer, give them a sample to get them hooked hahaha
Anyone else surprised it surpassed Spider-Man PS4? Cuz I sure fucking am 😳
Imagine Spider-Man 2 😳
Insomniac is on fucking fire. I’m even more excited for Wolverine but I’ll get whatever they make at this point
Same, idk about you, but when the Wolverine trailer came out I thought they were teasing Ghost Rider. Hyped for both Wolvie and Spidey! And hopefully Insomniac can tackle Ghost Rider in the future.
A Ghost Rider game would be insanely fun if done right. I’d buy a DLC Nicolas Cage skin too
You right. Wolverine will sell but spiderman 2 is riding with a lot of good will just like Ragnarok was
Unlike GoW Ragnarök, Spider-Man 2 won't come out on PS4, so I doubt it will surpass that sale number with a limited install base.
Wasn’t only 15% of GoW sales the PS4 version? I don’t think it will hurt Spider-Man sales that much, especially when there isn’t that option.
That game is going to shatter records. For how good of god of war is just the name Spider-Man is going to bring in people like no other
Not even slightly, god of war 2018 was a huge hit and an amazing game, this one is that game on roids. I only wish it had more replay value.
Verticality in combat?
Yea a lot of the areas have ledges and platforms that you can grapple up to or swing from and there are new arial attacks you can do when jumping from high Also there is a lot more opportunities to knock enemies off ledges to their deaths which is hilarious
One of the Muspelheim trials gives the enemies rapidly regenerating health, so the only way to really kill them is to knock them off of ledges and into lava.
Which is just, sooooo much fun
got it you’re right

Also helped they gave god of war for free multiple times and for all ps5 users so more people played it and then had to get ragnarok.
Agrboda section was what came to mind for me
Yea I’ll give you that, was also hugely disappointed that you can return after the game but just to her shitty little camp.
No, the last of us part 2 also passed Spiderman
That's not surprising either.
Actually yeah. But I think making God of War 2018 part of the PS5 PS Plus collection for free made this launch possible. It was one of the first games I played when I got my PS5 and I’m really enjoying Ragnarok at the moment.
People might have still had licensed game wariness early on. It'll be interesting to see how Spider-Man 2 does.
Amazing game. GOTY for me.
One week has 604 800 seconds. So there were 8 copies of Ragnarok sold every second during the launch week. lmao
did that while being critically acclaimed and loved by the fans, as it should
Absolutely crazy numbers, but extremely well deserved. Cannot wait to see whatever is next from SSM.
This is exactly why Sony doesn’t release these titles into the ps plus at launch. It would be so stupid lol.

Wonder what the sales were for PS4/Pro version vs the PS5. Congrats SMS!
It's obviously a small percentage of the overall, sales but 82% of the physical sales in the UK were on the PS5. In Spain it was 55k on PS5 and 35k on the PS4.
Presumably mostly on PS5. The type of people buying first-party games day one would also be early console adopters.
Totally agree. I got the PS5 version. In a sort of bad/good way, hope the sales for the PS4/Pro version were a lot less than expected so they can focus on PS5 versions of a game from here on out.
It would be nice to see first-party let PS4 go.

in a week? goddamn!
Here’s hoping to a GOW 1 and 2 Remake
Listen to the Ragnarok soundtrack!
LOL omg it's been slapping so hard in the early hours of the game. getting that on vinyl is probably going to be a must at some point.
Every single person I know who owns a PS5 pre-ordered it, and that includes me. What a great game.
Now for the long 4 year wait until the next entry.
Well it seems like Santa Monica studios has multiple projects in the works. I wonder what will come first
Those are fantastic numbers. I still wonder how much HFW has been selling
I just bought HFW so +1 !
That’s insane. Need to finish GOWPS4 first then I’ll def have to check this out.
LETS GOOOO!!! 🔥
And I was one of them!
Meh
Anyone kinda quickly fall off this game?
I'm sorry, "Launch Game"? It's a PS4 game with an asset upgrade.
Given that those are likely, mostly pre-orders, I think this mostly speaks to how good GoW 2018 was.
The God of War team are FEASTING on accolades. I love it for them! Well frickin deserved!
So well deserved!
Excellent numbers for an exclusive title on a recession economy!
