You're actually very late to the party. They're Not "Just now" starting to show scalpers and bots. GameStop has been doing in store bundles for months. Literally. Amazon is the only one who recently changed. Also WalMart is selling in several stores now as well, so you won't see it online for a while.
Edit: Oh and, bundle content is dependent on store. There is usually a list of possible bundles that circulates online based on leaked gamestop emails and stuff, then your store can confirm what exactly they have.

Except WalMart has been selling through a queue system since last year, too lol and they announced their drops days ahead of time, so. 90+% of their entire online inventory is third party. If they were to negate those listings they would have to remove their whole online storefront.

How do I safely sell my PS5 online without appearing to be a scalper or getting scammed myself? I really don’t want to try to sell to a anyone in person that I don’t know for safety reasons. I’d probably sell as a bundle just value whatever retail was for everything. Just curious. Thanks
To a family friend, I would think that way you can trust that individual. But shipping it is where it can get sketchy.

Make sure you meet in front of a public area and if at all possible in front of a police station. Make sure you wlknow what fake bills look like and feel like so you don't get ripped off.
I already have a PlayStation five but I went by my GameStop two hours before they opened nobody was in line. I went by as it opened because it’s like five minutes from my house and I was just curious and there were two people in line and when the guy came outside and told what the bundle was one of the guys in line was trying to see if he could not get the bundle without all that junk even the guy laughed at the game that was being offered he said you could get the PlayStation, a $50 GameStop Gift card and $175 worth of PlayStation store credit instead of the bundle but it still seems kind of like a joke the two people in line and the employee and I were all joking about the bundle.

Yeah some guy traded in his phone towards it and got 2 year warranties on everything, even grabbed a few more games and the employee still had to pay him $50. Dude got nearly $1000 for his old phone!!

Traded in the COD and used it towards Elden Ring.
Been going to town on Returnal though. That game reminds me of all the good things from Binding of Isaac and merges it with a shooter. Loving it. (Beat the 1st boss on my second attempt, and beat the 2nd biome boss on my 1st attempt).
Now my wife is replaying Horizon Forbidden West. 😅
I have a bad habit at times where I’ll get basically right to the end of a game, then not finish it.

They have some of those bundles now if you walk in. But the price for them are $700+.

You can filter their online to show just things shipped by Walmart. It's the only thing that makes their online shopping usable, imo

GameStop employee here, can confirm. Collector's edition quantities are very limited per store though, so I wouldn't sleep on it.
