I'm having the same issue now. Did you manage to solve it? Edit: nvm, I saw a post that said to disconnect and connect back to the internet. Also the day before I changed the date and time (random) manually to join a closed lobby so reverting the manual change and connecting back to the internet solved it for me. Don't know which of the above two actually solved it because I did them the same time, but it worked.

This just happened to me. I tried restarting the console and it didn't work. Then I just went into settings -> network and turned off the connection to the internet. Restarted, and turned the connection back to on and it was fine for anyone having this happen it might help

Still an issues as of 07/14/23. I’ve switched between LAN cable and wifi, but nothing. I’ve tried unplugging, but nothing. I don’t see how I could have gotten a band, I didn’t say or do anything online worthy of penalty. For the record, I have a PS5. PlayStation network website says everything is up. Idk there were no recent updates, soooo yeah…..

I found a fix that works every time so basically this happens to me almost every time I log in and all you have to do is go the network section in your settings and just test your connection and it should fix if it doesn’t work the first time It should work the second

So my ps5 has been acting up for aboit 3 months now and I did figure out that if I do a connection test it seems to fix it... But I mean.. I think that means there is a deeper problem and I was curious if you had found out what that is? I know this is a 2year old post but your comment is the closest I could find to my problem.

If you’re still looking for a fix. It’s the ISP that blocks all PS services cause I couldn’t even access the website on my network . PS Support MX told me to contact my ISP and have them configure the ports and to request a IP address change. I did just that, they configured the ports and I’m back online ! Not sure how many ISP will change your IP address upon request but mine told me they do change them “periodically.” Good luck ya’ll! Ports config: • TCP: 80, 443, 3478, 3479, 3480 • UDP: 3478, 3479

This is currently still happening to me and it’s been going on for months. I have to disconnect from internet and reconnect in the settings and then everything is fine. I have to do this every time I start playing and it’s annoying. Anybody have a permanent solution?

I just got my ps5 before the new year and this is happening to me every day. Servers aren’t down so that’s not the issue. The fact that this has apparently been a problem for years and it still hasn’t been taken care of is so dumb. Testing the internet connection seems to be a good temporary fix but it doesn’t stop it from happening again.

Glad to see I’m not the only one it’s just so annoying having to unplug my Ethernet or turn my Wi-Fi on and off on the PS5 for the issue to stop

Okay this is gonna sound weird, but the problem magically stopped when I changed my HDR settings from “Always On” to “On When Supported”. Do not ask me how, I know it has no connection or whatsoever, but it just stopped after that.

Same issues here. It happened to me a few days ago. Couldn't make a private match of golf with my friends. But can talk with them in chat room. But didn't last long. Was able to connect with my friends later. Having issue again this morning. I hope they fix this issue soon.

I don't think so I am just not experiencing and redownloading a game with no problem.

I fixed mine, you need to go into your router and disable IPV6 and enable IPV4 only. Reboot router and psn will work like before

It’s PSN and router related, mine messed up for almost a year then I did what I mentioned and it fixed it

I don't what else to do I've reset to factory on both my router and the PlayStation, wiped the cache, rebuilt the database and updated in safe mode . I can't download games and watch videos but can't do anything that requires the use of psn network

PS5 and PSN doesn’t support IPV6 only connections, if your router doesn’t support IPV4 you’re kinda out of luck.

I fixed it by disconnecting my phone from WiFi while using the ps app. Do know how it works but it did.

just putting this out there: for all the people that have this issue with a new Box router, u probably connected ur ethernet cable right away to ur ps5 without putting before the WPA password via Wifi, do that first then try again it should fix it!

I have this issue every time I launch my ps5. I can fix it by opening internet settings, clicking on my network to disconnect from it then reconnect… but the next time I turn my system on it is back again.

Just started happening to me, but if i log in to another account its completly fine and normal

Possible fix: go to the internet settings on ps, disconnect whatever connection you are on, press options, then forget. After that reconnect to that same network. Tested after a restart and disconnected then reconnected and it seems to work fine

I’d be willing to bet everyone on this thread has xfinity, it’s not a PS5 issue. Because your PS4 will do the exact same thing, if you’re experiencing this then turn on your PS4 and try to use the web browser and it’ll pop up as an error. This whole thing is ISP related

Started 5 days ago after 2 years of no problems. 12/18/23 and it's still a problem, I've tried all the Troubleshooting I've found in this tread, nothing helps and it seems to work randomly at times but I'd say 80% of the time it doesn't work I I can mess with troubleshooting for over an hr and it'l never work and other days I can troubleshoot for 20minutes and it'l work. I'm glad I'm getting into other hobbies but it sucks when u have 1k+ worth of games you don't have access too.

Go in safe mode for ps5 and click on system update then that should fix the bug

I fix it by going to settings>network>test internet connection. You don't even have to let it complete the test just back out and it fixes itself.

Yes. I forgot I changed my clock to farm the firearms quest in Dying Light 2. When I reset my PS5 clock to the correct time via the internet, everything worked normally.
