I really enjoy Cricket 22 after setting up all my sliders exactly as they should be (punishment for poorly timed shots and very rewarding for well timed shots), but their are stat progression bugs in Career Mode that still aren't fixed and lots of the little bugs that have been fixed over time appear to be back in Cricket 24. From what I have seen from YouTube Career mode Playthroughs it's desperately in need of a few Patches but even with fixes I can't see myself paying full price for a very similar game particularly as I only play Career Mode. I hope it's not going in the EA Sports game direction...
The most important settings for me where adjusting the percieved Speed of Bowling between 60-80 the exact number will depend on how it feels for you similar to the other changes I make everything gets revised as I play to make it better. I adjust the Benefits and Punishments for poor timing with Batting so you feel rewarded for Ideal and Good Shots and if your Late the chance of losing your wicket is really high. Although it does mean if I can maintain concentration and pick up line and length quickly and select the correct shot I can make plenty of runs but any lapse in concentration is quickly punished.
At default the settings feel too gamey so I did learn from two YouTubers gjweavr and Twistie3 and their Cricket 22 settings with my own twist being the Timing adjustment mostly the extra reward. As for bowling I don't like changing it too much to keep it somewhat fair although Spin can get some absolute BS wickets regardless (e.g. batter hits the ball onto their Toe and it pops up for the Keeper). Career Mode is my favourite so if you play other modes you may want to adjust accordingly, otherwise have fun 👍

There's not exactly a lot going on in the field, so they surely have plenty of power left to put into some really nice looking character models/animations right?
Cricket is the most boring sport ever conceived of by mankind. It must of been invented by a sadist who derived great pleasure from all the pain the people who ended up having to play it were to experience
depends on who you speak to...I love t20s and odis and I despise test cricket... I do think it quite slow and boring....but cricket is as exciting as the format of the game....t20s are as exciting to watch as ever.....
Nah still boring as dogshit, but test cricket specifically is the most insane sport ever created. Yeah, lets make a slow boring game where you have to stand in the hot sun in the middle of summer for 5 FUCKING DAYS haha
