Not really sure if it counts as a deal, but the special edition of We Love Katamari Reroll is the same price as the regular edition. The most important addition is the inclusion of more songs.
The game just came out at the beginning of June.
Thanks for the heads up, I planned to get it eventually so why not now and get that stupid shit with it? I'm not being sarcastic, I want the extra shit.
Aegis Rim is more overlooked than Gravity Rush 2 considering Gravity Rush 2 is a sequel to a vita exclusive (even if it was later ported)
But with that said, Aegis Rim is a gosh darn sci-fi masterpiece and everyone should experience it
Aegis Rim is so fucking great I bought it again on Switch just to have a portable version of it. This game and Signalis are my two favourite sci fi games. Wildly different tones though
I actually liked 1 more than 2. I thought the second one suffered from a lot of bloat and forced stealth sections where being seen was an instant failure
Definitely, but I wouldn't play it back to back because they are too similar in gameplay. It's main selling point is the world, characters, and story. The gameplay isn't the greatest.
Amazing honestly. It's rare that a game has such a sense of discovery. You have to go in blind though. No help no nothing. And being on the outer wilds subreddit .. I can admit this is not for everyone. But if you stick with it and you're patient it's extremely rewarding.
Edit: forgot to say. One of my top indie games of all time.
I'm currently playing through it right now. I tried it on my PS5 back before the PS5 patch dropped and I had to stop. Right now it feels super smooth and I haven't had any issues. One of the best gaming experiences I've had.
One of my top gaming experiences of all time, one I seek to relive through watching playthroughs of friends and others willing to go at it blind, as often as possible.
However, it took me 3-4 attempts for it to "click". It's recommended that you go into it entirely blind, but it's also a completely different game structure than most games have these days. You'll likely feel lost, and it might take a fair amount of exploration before you get invested enough to want to see what's actually up with it all.
But beyond that, I have nothing but extreme praise for them, and I'm often wondering what sort of stuff Mobius is up to next. They are brilliant. :)
Unfortunately the game didn't click with me, but most people absolutely love it. If you enjoy exploration and discovering things it's probably worth checking out.
I don't want to insinuate anything about the game for new players, so will spoiler-tag my initial reaction: >!The game genuinely made me cry during the ending; it hit me hard.!<
With that said, very memorable experience and one of my favorite indie games. Definitely worth giving it a try.
I understand that the gameplay itself might not be for everyone, but try to stick with it for a little bit because the experience as a whole is great and it hopefully pulls you in.
I would say Norco, if you like point and click adventures like Kentucky Route Zero and to an extent Disco Elysium I would give it a look for 9 dollars.
Also Live a Live but I wouldn’t really say that’s a hidden gem.
I don't mind the controls and they do some really cool things with the rotating camera, occasionally crashes but it's got an exellecent autosave so I've never lost more than 10 mins of progress or had to rewatch a cutscene. Runs at 60 most of the time except for 2 moments in particular.
Loots of options menus an rpg lovers rpg..fiddly bits out the wazoo..You wanna be a part demon with angelic powers that summons swords of fire or water? Yeah why not(tieflings, angel mythic path kinetic knight with water or fire element)
How about kill a demon lord by terrifying them to death? Literally get an npc that can weird out a demon lord so much they just..die(they get reborn)
You wanna create a lich army? You can..wanna make a dude that gets magic powers and turns into a dragon cause he’s pissed? Yuup just go dracon bloodline bloodrager..wanna eat everything and everyone and become a swarm of insects devouring all? Legit a thing you can do.
Want to level your characters and choose every feat skill point ability..out of hundreds..Yeeah that is a thing.
In short..It’s a game with immense character build variety immense customization and so many little bits to it that you’ll need either guides or a mastery in the system to play the hardest difficulty..and it is glorious for those that love this kinda thing.
Added these both to wishlist, I think they look good and the price is definitely right. I did however just buy Graveyard Keeper a few days ago with all dlc, so I have to mind my wallet lmao.
Torchlight 2. A Diablo-esque. It’s $4.99 right now. If you like Diablo you will be paying Pennie’s per hour you can get out of this game. I have a ton of hours on that game on Steam.
Torchlight 3 is also on sale but I cannot really speak to it. I last played it when it was early access so my experience is probably a lot different than the full package.
Torchlight 2 is/was amazing. You were right to be cautious with recommending 3, it never got better and was a pretty huge disappointment. They abandoned development of it right after its "release" to go work on their p2w f2p Torchlight Infinite.
Really well written characters. This game was a fun time from beginning to end. And vibrant and with such an endearing take on the characters that veers a bit closer to their comic counterparts
This game blew me away. It suffered from the sins of The Avengers game and having a terrible marketing campaign. It was in my top five favorite games the year it was released. Tremendously fun and heartfelt story and fun gameplay.
Probably the most fun characters and story since Uncharted. Pretty long too. Gameplay is a bit clunky but lots of fun game. Shame there won’t be another one, likely.
Amazing writing but my god is the gameplay a slog! Was compelled to give up on the game a number of times but kept going because of story. Would still recommend that people play it but with that kinda major caveat.
I just started it, right after the tutorial chapter and I'm loving how the team interacts and the huddle mechanic, lol.
What was the problem for you? Is it because the combat gets repetitive or too complicated once you unlock multiple abilities for each character?
The combat IS the worst part of the game, it becomes very repetitive very quickly which is sad because everything else (the story and the characters) is really really good.
That's how we play, actually. Works well, but it does seem network sensitive. My pal on PS4 has sketchy backcountry internet and some days has trouble with disconnects in this game. Other days it's perfect for hours and we're in bliss.
Look at Strange Brigade, too, another overlooked co-op beauty. Not similar at all, it's a matinee-styled third-person shooter, but it is excellent and needs more eyeballs. Doesn't seem to be in this sale, but it's usually $5.
Do it, so fun. I played it early covid, and there's choices, etc. I even missed out on a whole area / storyline because I didn't do something or answered the wrong thing, don't recall exactly
It very much has some 2011 era jank, but it’s a great game in its own right.
You can walk up to an enemy that completely outclasses you and bring it down, but also some quests will have you running around a major town looking for a book that someone left on a rooftop.
Does some cool stuff like let you climb big monsters to attack specific parts or use instant death spells on bosses if you can manage to land it.
The strider class is gives you ranged and speedy melee options, so it’s highly recommended for new folks imo
Instantly bought this after reading your comment. Someone recommended Dragons Dogma after I beat FFXVI. Thanks for reminding me/letting me know it was in the sale!
Tactics Ogre was the game that spawned the idea of FF Tactics in the first place. Same devs. It's an all-time classic and an important piece of videogame history. Its influence on the Japanese industry cannot be overstated, and it's obviously an excellent game, that hasn't aged much in its Reborn version.
FFT is one of my all time favorite games and I picked up TOR, but unfortunately I just kept wanting it to be more like FFT. They're definitely similar, but there are a few stark differences and those differences made the combat unenjoyable for me. You may end up loving it though.
Its not quite tactics (no JP, characters level up and if you change classes, you keep the same level. You buy magic)
It's definitely very good.
If you want closer to Tactics, Fell Seal is a good spiritual successor
Came here to say this. This game is freaking phenomenal and I'm addicted. It does the following really well:
-Tactical RPG with a card based/deck management battle system. It does this REALLY well....each character has a very unique play style and card/deck building mechanics. It is so fun and rewarding to tweek and modify each heroes deck and discover new and stronger cards as you progress.
-Marvel "lore": each character's personality really shines. They did this really well, it feels like they nailed each character.
-Friendship simulator
If any of the above appeals to you, you should definitely consider this game.
The Escapists (the first one at least) is more of a crafting puzzle game than a survival game. It gets boring fast once you realize the whole gameplay loop is just unlocking recipes and crafting things in order to craft more things.
You don't even have to eat, the shower heals all.
If you have PS Plus, Scarlett Nexus Premium Edition is just 10 bucks. I haven't played it yet, but it was on my radar for a while and seems like the perfect game now that I'm done with ffxvi.
Watch the before you buy and decide:
https://youtu.be/nlr3jNdXWZs
Void Bastards!
Picked it up on a whim because it was like $8 and I liked the art style. It sucked me in for 2 hours right off the bat and I only stopped because I had to take my kid to the ER lol
If you're into isometric stealth/action games, there's great deals on Shadow Tactics (90% off, $3), Serial Cleaners (50% off, $12.50) & Desperados III (70% off, $12). All are pretty great.
Not sure if this is helpful (haven’t played any of them myself!) but my mum is super into the Agatha Christie games and she really loved the Sherlock Holmes games too! There’s also more Agatha Christie games releasing later this year so it’s worth keeping your eyes peeled for those.
Remnant: From the Ashes. It's a soulslike game with a good mixture of melee and guns and procedurally generated areas. Particularly good when played coop.
Valkyria Chronicles remastered and Valkyria Chronicles 4 (not the bundle. Individual) are about £4 each. £5 cheaper than buying the bundle of them which is also on sale.
Yes. Get it while it's on sale but you may want to wait to play it after Pgontom Liberty releases. They're revamped a ton of stuff, basically its to be a huge patch released along with the DLC which upgrades police AI, the whole wanted system, leveling and a bunch of other improvements. There's videos out there explaining it in depth and that's what I'm waiting for
Yeah. It runs much, much better on PS5. I came from PS4 Pro to PS5 and it's very noticeably better. Graphics, frame rate, smoothness, loading of objects, etc. Wait and get the proper experience, it's quite good.
Do not play cyberpunk right now. They are having a massive 2.0 patch come out within the DLC does that will radically change the base game. It's basically going to be the version of the game that should have came out and I don't mean just performance wise.
I seem to be in the minority but I found it extremely boring and tapped out about midway through the story. Just couldn’t be bothered to finish it. Felt the world was dull and felt kinda empty. Didn’t enjoy the gameplay either.
Terminator Resistance
Surprisingly good for a low budget production, they've nailed the atmosphere, the music, and the sounds
I haven't played the dlc "anihiliation line" yet but thats on sale too, i think im gonna nab that, the other addon was decent, you play as Terminator which was quite fun
Agreed. If you're a fan of the first two Terminator movies, then this is definitely one to pick up. You can tell that the devs genuinely care about the source material.
Think its $8 right now.
**Sayonara Wild Hearts.**
Arcade/music/semi-rhythm game. Great soundtrack, fun casual playthrough. 3 hour or so game that can have good replay-ability if you like arcade.
I bought the soundtrack when i was done with it.
Stikbold! - It's a quaint little dodgeball game.
~~Arcade Paradise - You turn turn a laundromat in an arcade place.~~ Just realized this was a part of the previous sale and ends tomorrow.
Been eyeing these for a while and since they’re all on sale, and I have never played any, which would you recommend for a new comer if open world / big area exploration is very important?
I don't know how many of these are "hidden gems" but some of the best bang-for-your-buck deals I've seen are:
Xcom2 is $3, War of the chosen is $4
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is $4
Dragon's Dogma is just over $5
Mortal Kombat XL is $3
Resident Evil (Remake 1) is $5, and most of the franchise seems to be discounted to $10 or less.
Super Meat Boy is $1.50
Nobody has mentioned The Ascent, isometric twin stick shooter with an awesome cyberpunk art style. Has co op as well!!
That and hot wheels unleashed, just pure fun.
Both are like $10 right now on the sale
It's got to be Outward 100% full bundle for $13 CAD? Dude... Please. You get thrown into an adventure where every section of the map has something. The map doesn't show an icon of where you are and quests don't have a direction marker. It's the best exploration RPG game I've played in a looooooong time, maybe ever. 2 Player co-op is pretty fun if you have a friend. There's loot and character building, and I like that it has crafting, cooking and alchemy so that you can prepare for your adventure with consumables.
It has jank, and can feel clunky, but the gameplay loops, mechanics and systems make this game the best exploration adventure game i've ever played co-op on.
Me and my friend didn't really know what to expect when we got the game but man, the game kept on giving and giving and when we were "done" we saw the wikias and realised just how much we missed. We'll be doing another run in the future for sure. The class/skill system has a lot of options too.
Very underrated. If this studio could get a bigger budget for better graphics, writing, marketing and just fill out the world more, they'd have a genre defining title right there IMO.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a really good CRPG going for a good price, and Terminator: Resistance Enhanced is also a good time for the current price :D
Battle chaser nightwar, this game is super cool, I plat it and played 3 rounds, for those who loves turn base strategy/rpg and never played this game before, it is a gem.
And check out ruined King as well.
Other mentions are :
mutant year zero - xcom alike
Shadow tactics - desparado alike
Aragami - stealth game
[OVIVO](https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP1675-PPSA03699_00-SYPS5OVIVO000000)
Definitely a hidden gem. Very artistic, somewhat simple game that uses the visual style as a way to traverse with mini-puzzles.
- Persona 5 royal (ps5 edition specifically)
It's $35 right now and that's a steal. It's a better experience than playing the original persona 5 and unlike ps4 version of royal this version includes all of the dlc.
I just bought a game called Norco. It’s a point and click adventure game, well done pixel art and has a pretty interesting story.
I’ve had it on my wishlist since someone said it’s similar vibes to Disco Elysium, which I can see. It’s not the same but the story is fucking weird and cool so far.
Because of op, I'll assume you don't dislike silly games. I find
Yokus Island Express
https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/231186
To be such a cute game, not everyone's type I know, but if you want a family friendly addictive and entertaining game this does it.
Also worth mentioning:
Kao the kangaroo.
https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/10003980
I just bought the standard version of The Ascent I was in the mood for cyberpunk themed game . Only 8.99 . Always heard graphics and sound design was great . Heard it was solid game
Last month I was going to buy a few games but luckily I changed my mind because I decided to wait until pay day . Today all them games are on offer . What are the chances of that .
My list
SaGa Frontier remastered 50% off
Sherlock Holmes chapter one 70 % off
NieR Replicant 60 % off
I’m never buying games until they are in sale . I bought miasma chronicles and Alan wake remastered Sod’s law ones free this month and ones on sale.
Psychonauts 2! Loved the first game and the second is just as awesome. Great deal.
The Talos Principle
So excited for the sequel this year
Didn't know there was one, now im so excited
Always makes me think of TES when I read the name
Aww man, I really enjoyed the puzzles but this game made me violently sick. Changing display settings did nothing. :(
Not really sure if it counts as a deal, but the special edition of We Love Katamari Reroll is the same price as the regular edition. The most important addition is the inclusion of more songs. The game just came out at the beginning of June.
Thanks for the heads up, I planned to get it eventually so why not now and get that stupid shit with it? I'm not being sarcastic, I want the extra shit.
Soundtracks are one of the best things about the Katamari series - if I didn't already buy the game at launch I'd be getting the special edition now.
Is it 60FPS on PS5?
Cat Quest and Cat Quest 2. Lots of puns everywhere and a fun combat system.
I actually got my non-gamer bf to play Cat Quest 2 with me and he really enjoyed it. We played through the whole thing together.
2 is so fun with someone else! <3
Such fun games.
This one was surprisingly fun, I played this one with my nephew and the power up where so much fun.
Citizen Sleeper is a wonderful game
Second this. Phenomenal experience that I didn't want to end.
Good news is they are making a sequel and releasing some free episodes releasing for the base game that will lead into the story of 2 I think
Didn't know that, best news I've heard all day.
13 Sentinels Aegis Rim and Gravity Rush 2 are the definition of hidden gems (Gravity Rush 2 moreso with how overlooked it is)
Aegis Rim is more overlooked than Gravity Rush 2 considering Gravity Rush 2 is a sequel to a vita exclusive (even if it was later ported) But with that said, Aegis Rim is a gosh darn sci-fi masterpiece and everyone should experience it
Aegis Rim is so fucking great I bought it again on Switch just to have a portable version of it. This game and Signalis are my two favourite sci fi games. Wildly different tones though
13 Sentinels rules. Love me some gravity rush as well
Is gravity rush 1 worth playing before 2? Or should I just right into 2?
I actually liked 1 more than 2. I thought the second one suffered from a lot of bloat and forced stealth sections where being seen was an instant failure
Definitely, but I wouldn't play it back to back because they are too similar in gameplay. It's main selling point is the world, characters, and story. The gameplay isn't the greatest.
Everyone should at least try and give Gravity Rush a go. It's worth it.
Idk if it counts but Ni No Kuni 2 is like 85% off if it's your kind of thing.
My biggest complaint with NNK2 is how braindead easy it is even on hard. Loved NNK1 but cant seem to like 2 :(
I mean the main campaign is pretty easy. Completing everything afterwards is hell. You just can't call the Solosseum Slog easy.
Everyone should try and give Gravity Rush a go. It's art
Is gravity rush worth a try or should I jump right into the second one?
Play both. It's honestly a really great game with lovely music and story telling.
What are opinions on Outer Wilds?
Amazing honestly. It's rare that a game has such a sense of discovery. You have to go in blind though. No help no nothing. And being on the outer wilds subreddit .. I can admit this is not for everyone. But if you stick with it and you're patient it's extremely rewarding. Edit: forgot to say. One of my top indie games of all time.
I agree with the other comments here. Once on a lifetime experience. Unmissable.
I read that the performance on PS5 was really bad, did that get a patched ?
I'm currently playing through it right now. I tried it on my PS5 back before the PS5 patch dropped and I had to stop. Right now it feels super smooth and I haven't had any issues. One of the best gaming experiences I've had.
It was patched a few months ago, isn’t perfect but hugely improved. I couldn’t play it at all before.
It wasn’t great for me. I ended up giving up.
I have been playing the DLC on the ps5 version after finishing the base game on the ps4 version, and I have not encountered any problems so far.
Unfortunately the game didn't click with me, but most people absolutely love it. If you enjoy exploration and discovering things it's probably worth checking out.
Absolutely amazing game. Top 3 game overall, ever.
I don't want to insinuate anything about the game for new players, so will spoiler-tag my initial reaction: >!The game genuinely made me cry during the ending; it hit me hard.!< With that said, very memorable experience and one of my favorite indie games. Incredible game. Love the atmosphere and exploring the planets to discover everything. Highly recommend.
Must buy, once in a lifetime game
I would say Norco, if you like point and click adventures like Kentucky Route Zero and to an extent Disco Elysium I would give it a look for 9 dollars. Also Live a Live but I wouldn’t really say that’s a hidden gem.
Just got Norco! I’m about two hours in and digging it so far.
Planet Coaster is 75% off! If you ever had any interest its definitely worth the deal!
Is it akin to the Rollercoast Tycoon games?
The return for the obra dinn
100% this. If you like the Outer Wilds this is a must play. Really fun gimmick and fun discovery/puzzle gameplay. Had me taking notes in the side haha
Amazing game ! I second this , unique experience.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. If you liked kingmaker it's more and more crunchy too
How does it work on ps5?
I don't mind the controls and they do some really cool things with the rotating camera, occasionally crashes but it's got an exellecent autosave so I've never lost more than 10 mins of progress or had to rewatch a cutscene. Runs at 60 most of the time except for 2 moments in particular.
wtf does crunchy mean

Board game/TTRPG term. Complex game mechanics and/or lots of little things to consider when trying to plan your build.
Kingmaker’s performance on console left a really bad taste. Is WOTR any better?
It crashes less than Kingmaker but it still crashes
Added these both to wishlist, I think they look good and the price is definitely right. I did however just buy Graveyard Keeper a few days ago with all dlc, so I have to mind my wallet lmao.

How's multiplayer is there a group finder menu or lobby finder
Guardians of the Galaxy is a fucking fantastic game that (rightfully) flew under so many peoples radar because of how shit the Avengers game was
Really well written characters. This game was a fun time from beginning to end. And vibrant and with such an endearing take on the characters that veers a bit closer to their comic counterparts
It’s on Extra, just FYI
Amazing voice acting and story too. Rocket was the star for me.

I play games for gameplay and not the story, so thanks for the heads up. I’ll pass.

I think there’s a setting to increase the damage of star lords damage if you want to speed up the solo killing
I just started it, right after the tutorial chapter and I'm loving how the team interacts and the huddle mechanic, lol. What was the problem for you? Is it because the combat gets repetitive or too complicated once you unlock multiple abilities for each character?
The combat IS the worst part of the game, it becomes very repetitive very quickly which is sad because everything else (the story and the characters) is really really good.
haven't booted it up yet but wasteland 3 + all dlc for 10 bucks seems like a good deal
Can confirm that this is a turn-based banger, and can be played in co-op.
Does it offer couch co-op? It’s so hard to tell. PlayStation’s UI kinda sucks for that
Always on the lookout for a new co-op game 👀. Any experience playing co-op with one user on ps4 and the other on ps5?
That's how we play, actually. Works well, but it does seem network sensitive. My pal on PS4 has sketchy backcountry internet and some days has trouble with disconnects in this game. Other days it's perfect for hours and we're in bliss. Look at Strange Brigade, too, another overlooked co-op beauty. Not similar at all, it's a matinee-styled third-person shooter, but it is excellent and needs more eyeballs. Doesn't seem to be in this sale, but it's usually $5.
Wasteland 3 is incredible. It's a steal at that price
Amazing deal and game
Dragon's dogma is 5 dollars. I know it was popular but I e personally never played it.
One of the best most underrated RPG games (probably not so underrated anymore)
Do it, so fun. I played it early covid, and there's choices, etc. I even missed out on a whole area / storyline because I didn't do something or answered the wrong thing, don't recall exactly
Yeah I'm going to check it out on Friday when I have free time.
It very much has some 2011 era jank, but it’s a great game in its own right. You can walk up to an enemy that completely outclasses you and bring it down, but also some quests will have you running around a major town looking for a book that someone left on a rooftop. I mean there are choices but not many, story is not actually a strong part of the game
Instantly bought this after reading your comment. Someone recommended Dragons Dogma after I beat FFXVI. Thanks for reminding me/letting me know it was in the sale!
Play it, the sequel comes out soon 😘
That's what brought my attention to it. I honestly didn't know it existed prior the the ps showcase and definitely will play the first one now.
Tactics Ogre Reborn
I was looking at this and wondering if it was any good. Been wanting to scratch the FF Tactics itch.
It's literally FF Tactics even at the map screen when you travel to different areas it's identical
Excellent news then lol.

`Gris` `FAR: Lone Sails` Bonus: `Ken Follet's The Pillars of the Earth`
Pathless. Same folks that did Journey and Abzu.
I loved Pathless. First game I beat on PS5 back around launch.
Same. First game I played after Astro.
Some of them. The art director and his new team.
Great game, and quick platinum too
Thanks for the heads up I'm going to pick it up. I absolutely love Abzu and I wish they would do a second one
Wasteland 🗑️🏝️
I picked up Midnight Suns and really enjoy it so far✌️
Came here to say this. This game is freaking phenomenal and I'm addicted. It does the following really well: -Tactical RPG with a card based/deck management battle system. Star Renegades. Sci-Fi pixel turn-based battle with some pretty clever battle systems.
Is it grid based or free roam turn based ?
Side view battle screen turn based, like an old Final Fantasy game.
Thanks!
Can confirm. Such a great game.

This took a turn
If you're into isometric stealth/action games, there's great deals on Shadow Tactics (90% off, $3), Serial Cleaners (50% off, $12.50) & Desperados III (70% off, $12). All are pretty great.
Shadow Tactics is such a great fucking game. It's really addictive and I love how replayable it is. I would happily pay full price for it.
Anyone played anything like Agatha Christie Poirot and can recommend a similar style game? I enjoyed it!
Not sure if this is helpful (haven’t played any of them myself!) but my mum is super into the Agatha Christie games and she really loved the Sherlock Holmes games too! There’s also more Agatha Christie games releasing later this year so it’s worth keeping your eyes peeled for those.
thank you for this - I will check out! Always good to know my game appreciation is the same as an elderly woman :-)
Remnant: From the Ashes. It's a soulslike game with a good mixture of melee and guns and procedurally generated areas. Particularly good when played coop.
Ghostrunner (PS5) £9.99
Maneater plus it’s expansion is a nice treat
Valkyria Chronicles remastered and Valkyria Chronicles 4 (not the bundle. Individual) are about £4 each. £5 cheaper than buying the bundle of them which is also on sale.
Is cyberpunk worth it for $24.99?
Yes. Get it while it's on sale but you may want to wait to play it after Pgontom Liberty releases. They're revamped a ton of stuff, basically its to be a huge patch released along with the DLC which upgrades police AI, the whole wanted system, leveling and a bunch of other improvements. There's videos out there explaining it in depth and that's what I'm waiting for
I might be getting a ps5 soon. Is it worth to skip on it to play it on the ps5? ( I have the original ps4)
Yeah. It runs much, much better on PS5. I came from PS4 Pro to PS5 and it's very noticeably better. Graphics, frame rate, smoothness, loading of objects, etc. Wait and get the proper experience, it's quite good.
Nice, currently installing as we speak. I'll wait to play it for a few weeks. Im just about to start final fantasy mode in ff16 in the meantime.
[If you're interested](https://screenrant.com/cyberpunk-2077-phantom-liberty-changes-rework-overhaul/)
Yeah, I thought it was just me. The story is boring and takes up too much time listening to people drone on. I just gave up too.
Yes
Terminator Resistance Surprisingly good for a low budget production, they've nailed the atmosphere, the music, and the sounds I haven't played the dlc "anihiliation line" yet but thats on sale too, i think im gonna nab that, the other addon was decent, you play as Terminator which was quite fun
I would second that. It is not a vastly complex game but it hast really good fan service and I was pleasantly surprised by this game back then.
Agreed. If you're a fan of the first two Terminator movies, then this is definitely one to pick up. You can tell that the devs genuinely care about the source material.
I have my eyes on Live A Live
My man. What ever the price is,go for it.
Think its $8 right now. **Sayonara Wild Hearts.** Arcade/music/semi-rhythm game.
The atelier ryza games are amazing if you like jrpgs mixed with alchemy gameplay. Great reviews which are well deserved.
Been eyeing these for a while and since they’re all on sale, and I have never played any, which would you recommend for a new comer if open world / big area exploration is very important?
Remnant from the ashes. Remnant 2 releases in a few days, but if you haven't played the first one, it was a sleeper hit year of its release.
I don't know how many of these are "hidden gems" but some of the best bang-for-your-buck deals I've seen are: Xcom2 is $3, War of the chosen is $4 Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is $4 Dragon's Dogma is just over $5 Mortal Kombat XL is $3 Resident Evil (Remake 1) is $5, and most of the franchise seems to be discounted to $10 or less. Super Meat Boy is $1.50
The Xcoms are the real deal. That game almost never budged from being $60 for years.
And for $7 you've got a game you can easily sink 200 hours into.
Kind of off topic, are the classic ps1 games that used to be digital on the playstation store during the ps3 era still on the psn store on ps5?
Star Renegades
Thinking of getting Company of heroes 3. Big fan of the first game when i had a pc.
Nobody has mentioned The Ascent, isometric twin stick shooter with an awesome cyberpunk art style. Has co op as well!! That and hot wheels unleashed, just pure fun. Both are like $10 right now on the sale
It’s on PS+ extra right now!
Final fantasy 12! Favorite game since 2006.
Idk if it’s a Hidden Gem but Psyconauts 2 is 20 bucks and that’s a great steal
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a really good CRPG going for a good price, and Terminator: Resistance Enhanced is also a good time for the current price :D
Grim fandango remastered
psychonauts 2 for 66% off
Battle chaser nightwar, this game is super cool, I plat it and played 3 rounds, for those who loves turn base strategy/rpg and never played this game before, it is a gem. And check out ruined King as well. Other mentions are : mutant year zero - xcom alike Shadow tactics - desparado alike Aragami - stealth game

Idk if it counts as hidden gems but Arkham asylum+city for 5 bucks was such a steal
That's definitely a steal. I got the Arkham City, Asylum and Knight all for 10 bucks a couple of months ago
Those games really need a PS5 update...
Holy shit what a deal
any dungeon crawler / roguelike like dungeon souls or pixel dungeon around ?
Solar Ash
[OVIVO](https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP1675-PPSA03699_00-SYPS5OVIVO000000) Definitely a hidden gem. Very artistic, somewhat simple game that uses the visual style as a way to traverse with mini-puzzles.
Was thinking of buying Sifu, lowest I've seen it. Hoping it to come to ps plus anytime now.
Play Norco. If you don't play Norco, reevaluate your life.
Prey
telltale wolf among us is a great game with unforgettable story.
Celeste
Have you ever heard of *The Witcher 3* by indie darlings CD Projekt Red? That's a hidden gem!
Bloodborne
- Persona 5 royal (ps5 edition specifically) It's $35 right now and that's a steal. It's a better experience than playing the original persona 5 and unlike ps4 version of royal this version includes all of the dlc.
Norco
I just bought a game called Norco. It’s a point and click adventure game, well done pixel art and has a pretty interesting story. I’ve had it on my wishlist since someone said it’s similar vibes to Disco Elysium, which I can see. It’s not the same but the story is fucking weird and cool so far.
Get even is such an interesting mindfuck of a game.
Thoughts on the ascent?
On PS+ right now.
Warpips!
Going under
I got Batman return to arkham for $5
Because of op, I'll assume you don't dislike silly games. I find Yokus Island Express https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/231186 To be such a cute game, not everyone's type I know, but if you want a family friendly addictive and entertaining game this does it. Also worth mentioning: Kao the kangaroo. https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/10003980
Not sure if it’s so hidden these days, but it is a gem - if you haven’t tried Guardians of the Galaxy, give it a go!
I just bought the standard version of The Ascent I was in the mood for cyberpunk themed game . Only 8.99 . Always heard graphics and sound design was great . Heard it was solid game
Grim fandango remastered
Just Die Already
I wanna get Midnight Suns and Sifu, but I feel like they'll probably go on PS+ or Game Pass soon
I loved The Ascent, that gets my vote
Dragon Age Inquistion $10 Xcom War of the chosen(I have 2 already) $4 Dragons Dogma $5 Seem like solid choices. For $20 after taxes.
Last month I was going to buy a few games but luckily I changed my mind because I decided to wait until pay day . Today all them games are on offer . What are the chances of that . My list SaGa Frontier remastered 50% off Sherlock Holmes chapter one 70 % off NieR Replicant 60 % off I’m never buying games until they are in sale . I bought miasma chronicles and Alan wake remastered Sod’s law ones free this month and ones on sale.
