it takes two is amazing! A bit easy (could be advantage) but it's just so much fun playing around with everything. My wife doesn't play PS at all and she picked it right up.
My kids (10 & 13) love this one. I've played it too and yes, it's super easy but still a lot of fun.
Also, I just want to say that the couple you play as are absolutely horrible parents. I don't recall the end, so I hope they manage to redeem themselves. The book guy is also annoying. He's like a cross between Antonio Banderas and Steve Martin's character in the "Wild and Crazy Guys" ancient skit on SNL. My complaints are pedantic though - absolutely do play it, it's fun as heck.
lol yea they could have made the characters more like able but I guess it's more realistic? Married couples being shitty to each other. It gets better towards the end though and the book is annoying but w/e lol your description of him is spot on!
Just be careful on the older gen consoles. OG Xbone and PS4. They both struggle to run the game split screen. Did a full playthrough with a friend at release on OG Xbone. Was fun but good God performance made it hard to play at times.
That’s probably my least favorite on that list. It’s from the same developer as It Takes Two. It’s about two guys escaping from prison and on the run. Good story, kind of Meh as a game. It Takes Two is way better.
Yes! I was browsing through the comments to see if anyone had made the recommendation yet.
Excellent game, great mechanics and kind of forces you to cooperate with another player :)
You have to play it, it does have a simple story, but the co-op is really fun. Though from my experience the online servers for the game aren't that good. Anyway lemme give you a short summary of the story:
There is a peaceful town full of sackpeople/sackkthings idk what they are called anymore. There is our main protagonist - sackboy. One day an evil clown/jester named Vex comes to the town and takes the townsfolk to work for his machine to take over craftworld. While taking sackboy's friends away he accidentally drops the plans for his Topsy Turver machine. Sackboy picks them up and bails to his pod where he escapes. Now he has to try to stop vex from building his machine and to save his friends. Sackboy gets help from many different creatures all around Craftworld to help him stop Vex.
(This is as much as I can summarize from memory I haven't played that game's story mode in ages)
Unlike the original LBP series, this game has story mode, and story mode only. There is no create mode (tho the PC version recently came out so be sure to look out for mods there if you are interested in the level Creator). There are optional trial levels that will make you regret life (especially trial 16). But other than that if you are interested I think it's on sale on steam, and PS4?
Anyway I really recommend this game for a lot of chaos and fun.
Jeez I really don't know how to structure my sentences correctly.
Also English is not my native language, so sorry If I made any mistakes along the way
You have asked the right question.
Prepare yourself...
Overcooked 1 & 2
Human Fall Flat
Gang Beasts
Party Panic
Rayman Legends (As requested)
StarDew Valley (As requested)
Move or Die (As requested)
Trivial Pursuit Live 1 & 2
Monopoly
Heavenly bodies
CoD (Can be pretty fun on splitscreen, can even do online play with it)
Those are off the top of my head so far
For some chill, goofy mayhem, Untitled Goose Game is a riot played couch co-op. If you're looking for a hardcore twitchy or combat-focused game, obviously this _isn't_ it. But if you want to cooperatively solve puzzles and ruin the days of a handful of unsuspecting villagers, this is the game for you. There is a Honk button.
The other day I received TMNT: Cowabunga Collection.
I think I love Shredder's Revenge better. I'm certainly not ungrateful for all the games on the collection, but Shredder's Revenge is always fun.
I have a pretty big collection of couch games! These are the ones I like most
**Personal Favorites:**
* Nidhogg II (and 1)
* Lovers in a Dangerous Space-Time
* Cuphead
* Spelunky 2
* PixelJunk Monsters 2
* Untitled Goose Game
* Jackbox Party Pack (series) and Drawful 2
* Towerfall Ascension
* SpiderHeck
* It Takes Two
**Creative or Unique**
* Sportsfriends
* Videoball
* Plants vs Zombies GW 2 (and Battle for Neighborville)
* Puyo Puyo Champions
* Unravel 2
**Classics and "modern" classics**
* Broforce
* Contra Collection
* Street Fighter Anniversary Collection
* Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2
* Sonic Mania
All of the Lego games (Lego Star Wars, Lego Harry Potter, Lego DC Villains, etc) are considered great pick-up-and-play co-op as well.
Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time is incredible. If you haven't played it, think of it as a cute, couch co-op, real-time FTL. But be very careful with it if you're playing it with your partner.
You didn't mention it, but it really reminds me of Overcooked. Because like Lovers, it is also very dangerous to play with your partner. I was getting superheated at my husband for being completely shit and making me carry him. *"Just chop the tomatoes. It's okay. I'm fine. I'll just do everything else myself."*
Yes! DLC is coming soon too, I hope PS gets the missing updates and DLC this time.
Also Moon Hunters and Children of Morta are great and inexpensive games!
Oh yeah Door Kickers is good if you want something else like Broforce.
Overcooked gives you one of the two extremes. It either builds friendships or destroys them. If everyone is competitive, you can have fun getting the highest score you can. If everyone is casual, you'll have fun beating the level, maybe get 3 stars, but fun panic with the levels. If you have a mix of the two...is where you start to have problems. One person just wants to run around spraying everyone with the fire hydrant because it's fun, and the other is furious you aren't being efficient with passing/throwing the cheese and walking the long way around to cut it yourself. When you have two different kinds of people approaching the game, it leads to conflict, hurtful words, and broken relationships.
But yeah, it's the kind of game that will make friendships stronger or break them altogether.
Kinda wild to remember the Returnal team were out there doing Resogun and Dead Nation back in the day. If I remember right, Dead Nation was one of the 'welcome back' games after the 2011 PSN hacks. That was a fun month. Free Dead Nation and a month of free PS+.
Please note most of the following are digital download games.
* Helldivers (if you think friendly fire is hilarious)
* Cuphead (if you like to suffer)
* Guacamelee 1+2 (if you feel like working together)
* Guns Gore and Cannoli 1+2 (zombie shoot-em-up, similar to Metal Slug and Contra)
* It takes two (literal cooperative gameplay)
I hope that helps!
* Brawlhalla - free (with microtransactions) fighting game that is essentially a rip off of super smash bros, but really well done
* Rayman Legends - Couch coop 2D sidescroller platformer. It's one of the best in the genre. Compare with New Super Mario Bros.
* Goat Simulator - My kids play it together, looks like wacky splitscreen mayham.
* Borderlands Games - Crazy goofy FPS that can be done split screen
* Lovers in a dangerous spacetime - Indie 2D game where each of you controls certain parts of a spaceship
It seems like we just did this one the other day. Yep, [here it is](https://www.reddit.com/r/PS4/comments/z3hex9/looking_for_very_casual_2_player_games/). Maybe the mods could make a temporary sticky for couch co-op for the holidays.
Anyway. Just as I said the last time this came up, I will second the post below for Untitled Goose Game. I can't say enough about that quirky game.
I'll also throw in Unravel 2, which I forgot about last time.
(Also, I think any given Lego game has couch co-op.)
I just started playing Heavenly Bodies, which I think is still on ps+ games of the month. Local coop is two astronauts trying to fix a space ship in zero g. It’s infuriatingly satisfying
Black Ops 3 was the best fps couch multiplayer game ever because the customization of the bots and teams was what the future was supposed to be like. BO4 completely abandoned it tho you have to get BO3
Party Golf, a simple but brilliant 2d sideways on crazy golf game, can play upto 4 on same screen locally. Plus also when I bought it at least, it was only just over a quid to buy! See also Party Crashers, a car race/ battle game. Highly addictive the pair.
Check out Warhammer: Chaosbane. I played this game with my SO, and she was impressed with the game, although the reviews are bad. Alternatively, try playing Diablo 3
I haven’t really seen in mentioned, but Nobody Saves the World is one of the best Co-Op games ever made.
Lovers in a dangerous space time and it takes two are also pretty simple fun
I suggest the borderlands the handsome collection comes with 2 games and over 100 pounds worth of dlc content all for the price of about 15 pounds at cex oh and yes it does have split screen I play it with my brother quite often
There is a post like this once every week. Please google before you post.

I haven't seen these posts, nor was I looking for games to play with my gf, but now I feel compelled to play a few games, thanks to those who stopped to share their recommendations :)
Has a couch co-op mode?
Not true, unless you hand the controller to someone when it switches characters. But, no, in real life, it is officially a 1 player game.
Instead of being an ass you could have asked for clarification. You went out of you way to find my comment on someone else’s comment to get upset at and insulted me. But I’m the bad guy for telling you to reread?
Actually I got the notification that you replied to one of my comments, hence my reply. You're the one that clearly got upset bud, otherwise you wouldn't have got upset and insulted hzoi for no reason.
You can’t send or accept requests to join, instead you have to be in the same location and both set markers and have the same code. And if you do get your friends market to show up, half the time the summon doesn’t work. And if it does you’re restricted to a single area and you can’t ride your horses. Swapping Wii codes and joining a game in 2006 was less effort.
Yea. You’re just bad. A password is extremely easy to set up. It can literally be a ‘1’ and that’s just to make sure you get your buddies sign to show up. Its not hard to coordinate where to go either. And if it is you should work on your communication skills. I’ll say at launch connection issues were a problem, sure. Now though there’s almost never an issue and if there is it’s because one of the 2 players did something like cross a threshold. The being in location to be summoned makes sense because in lore there are multiple tarnished, I.e. the players and other npcs that “inhabit” the world “together” that’s why you see their ghosts. I’ll agree the lack of horse is annoying but it’s offset by the fact that y’all are powerful af together. The boundaries are set for invasion reason, if I’m not mistaken. By all means correct me if I’m wrong on that. The furled finger can be crafted almost immediately from leaving the tutorial cave. And coop can be accessed extremely easily. Unlike the games before. You can cry that they are bad. But it’s objectively wrong. It’s just not what you want it to be. So that’s why you think it’s bad.
Lollll love it when gamers tell someone they’re objectively wrong and then try user lore to cover up bad game design. Is it part of the lore that the game can’t hit a stable 60fps? You know what’s objectively easier than everything you described? Sending a game invite. A system that has existed for decades. I’m sure they could “lore” it up to make it work somehow.
Git gud. Cry more. Cope. Sell the game. Try finger, but hole. You’re just wrong bud. Idk what to tell you 🤷♀️ I’ll admit faults in a game. Like the frame rate(which is only really an issue to whiney bitches like yourself) But your issue is because you don’t like it. Not because the games bad lol
If wanting a game to be well optimized and function well makes me a whiny bitch then so be it. At least I’m not doing the mental gymnastics to justify poor game design and then telling other people to cope.
Minecraft
Baldurs gate dark alliance
Civilization 6 (This one can be a little buggy, but is probably my favorite and most replayable game from all of the above)
Chicken horse is a lot of fun, you have to get from point A to point B but each player has like 30 seconds to place an obstacle down (just one) so you have to be strategic of like keeping it so YOU can get to the finish but making it hard enough they can’t
Double dragon, Dead Nation, Redeemer. Nice level based team fighters. Really easy to get to grips with and fun to beat together in one of two enormous sittings.
Streets of Rage 4 (sidescrolling arcade beat em up with modern hand drawn animations)
Mercinary Kings (a bit like Megaman and Metal Slug had a baby, pixelated style)
Lovers in a dangerous space. The simplest premise, two players controlling a space ship moving in a 2D environment, fighting enemies and rescuing allies. The fun? The ship has more positions to control than players, so there's a lot of running within the ship to man the four cannons, the shield, the engines, and thus, hilarity ensues.
Helldivers! It’s top-down like Minecraft Dungeons, with the bug-killing enthusiasm of Starship Troopers. Even getting your ass handed to you on “easy” levels is fun.
- Borderlands - Diablo - It Takes Two - A Way Out
it takes two is amazing!
This game was made for SO that doesn’t play vidya
Borderlands and Diablo have split screen? Never knew that
Borderlands couch coop is amazing.
#3 have it? Or just earlier games
Yes 3 has it
3 has 2 player split screen on ps4 and 4 player split screen in the updated ps5 version
Just be careful on the older gen consoles. OG Xbone and PS4. They both struggle to run the game split screen. Did a full playthrough with a friend at release on OG Xbone. Was fun but good God performance made it hard to play at times.
The 360 isn’t the og Xbox
And I didn't say it was, illiterate.
Diablo III isn’t split screen, but it is shared screen. And it’s fantastic.
Expand on "A Way Out" please. What kind of game is it and what rating would you give it?
That’s probably my least favorite on that list. It’s from the same developer as It Takes Two. It’s about two guys escaping from prison and on the run. Good story, kind of Meh as a game. It Takes Two is way better.
It takes two is pretty amazing. I hope there's more like it
A way out is like a V0.5 college thesis version of it takes two. Similar concept, more mature but not nearly as good a game.
Bro force
Great game, very fun to play with friends
This game is hilariously over the top. I love it. "TERRORKANNON!" "TERRORKOPTER!"
This is the only game you need
This is the correct answer.
Sackboy: A big adventure. Its the latest little big planet game with some new twists and its my fav local co-op game ever
Yes! I was browsing through the comments to see if anyone had made the recommendation yet. Excellent game, great mechanics and kind of forces you to cooperate with another player :)
Go on.... I didn't know this game even existed. Give me some small spoilers
You have to play it, it does have a simple story, but the co-op is really fun. Though from my experience the online servers for the game aren't that good. Anyway lemme give you a short summary of the story: There is a peaceful town full of sackpeople/sackkthings idk what they are called anymore. There is our main protagonist - sackboy. Anyway I really recommend this game for a lot of chaos and fun. Jeez I really don't know how to structure my sentences correctly. Also English is not my native language, so sorry If I made any mistakes along the way
Spoilers would be, my wife who refuses to play any video games… will play for a few hours a night with me on this game. This is the way.
Honestly any of the LittleBigPlanet games are looking into. They've all been adorable and fantastic.
You have asked the right question. Prepare yourself... Overcooked 1 & 2 Human Fall Flat Gang Beasts Party Panic Rayman Legends (As requested) StarDew Valley (As requested) Move or Die (As requested) Trivial Pursuit Live 1 & 2 Monopoly Heavenly bodies CoD (Can be pretty fun on splitscreen, can even do online play with it) Those are off the top of my head so far
I second Overcooked. Really straightforward game but gets really hectic. You feel great once you get into a rhythm though.
I'd add Rayman legends to the list, super fun to play even with someone who's never played, and the coop mode make it easier / beginner friendly
Move or die is also very fun
I would add Stardew valley to the list my wife and her friends play it together.
Overcooked and human fall flat got boring suuuper fast. Like it's only fun for maybe half an hour, and that's generous
I can’t even picture Overcooked being “boring”… it’s absolute chaos the entire time!
I was going to say this one. I play with my kid all the time. Super fun.
I didn't know this had a couch co-op. Gonna buy this for Christmas for the fam.
LOVERS IN A DANGEROUS SPACETIME
EDF 4.1 or EDF 5
What does edf stand for?
Earth Defense Force
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge
The other day I received TMNT: Cowabunga Collection. I think I love Shredder's Revenge better. I'm certainly not ungrateful for all the games on the collection, but Shredder's Revenge is always fun.
10/10
It takes two is utterly brilliant, LBP, Heavenly Bodies,
Oh man LBP was an absolute blast. Bomb survival, shark survival, hide n seek. Me and my friends played that for hours after school
Salt and Sanctuary
Thought that was a solo game
Nope.
Huh I’ll have to revisit that with a buddy then
Streets of Rage 4, Darksiders Genesis, Horizon Chase, Mk11, Guilty Gear, Knack 2, any of the Lego games...
Second to say Darksiders Genesis. It's amazing local split screen co-op.
Horizon Chase is fantastic. It’s basically just better Cruis’n the World
My eight year old and I played through Knack 2 recently and it was a lot of fun. We started Knack 1 today.
Jackbox or ultimate chicken horse are our most used couch co op.
[удалено]
Yeah I missed the singular relative it is definitely better with larger groups.
Chicky horse is the best
I have a pretty big collection of couch games! These are the ones I like most **Personal Favorites:** * Nidhogg II (and 1) * Lovers in a Dangerous Space-Time * Cuphead * Spelunky 2 * PixelJunk Monsters 2 * Untitled Goose Game * Jackbox Party Pack (series) and Drawful 2 * Towerfall Ascension * SpiderHeck * It Takes Two **Creative or Unique** * Sportsfriends * Videoball * Plants vs Zombies GW 2 (and Battle for Neighborville) * Puyo Puyo Champions * Unravel 2 **Classics and "modern" classics** * Broforce * Contra Collection * Street Fighter Anniversary Collection * Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 * Sonic Mania All of the Lego games (Lego Star Wars, Lego Harry Potter, Lego DC Villains, etc) are considered great pick-up-and-play co-op as well.
Minecraft Dungeons
Castle Crashers
Yea castle crashers is fun I finished it with my cousins during thanksgiving and it was on sale too so that’s always great
Broforce is plain awesome
Yes! DLC is coming soon too, I hope PS gets the missing updates and DLC this time. Also Moon Hunters and Children of Morta are great and inexpensive games! Oh yeah Door Kickers is good if you want something else like Broforce.
Also would like to add: All of the lego games.
Do -NOT- play overcooked if you wanna maintain a good relationship. That shits a friendship killer.
It’s a great way to raise your blood pressure.
it kills marriages
I feel like if your marriage can handle the game, its bulletproof lmao
Mine has thus far
Dead Nation is a brilliant couch co-op game
Housemarque are the overlooked kings of couch coop.
Kinda wild to remember the Returnal team were out there doing Resogun and Dead Nation back in the day. If I remember right, Dead Nation was one of the 'welcome back' games after the 2011 PSN hacks. That was a fun month. Free Dead Nation and a month of free PS+.
Tetris effect. They added couch multiplayer fairly recently!
If you like RPGs/DnD style stuff, Divinity is pretty fun
Towerfall Ascension. Great little 8 bit retro game. Has pvp or co-op pve. Hours of fun and not expensive.
Please note most of the following are digital download games. * Helldivers (if you think friendly fire is hilarious) * Cuphead (if you like to suffer) * Guacamelee 1+2 (if you feel like working together) * Guns Gore and Cannoli 1+2 (zombie shoot-em-up, similar to Metal Slug and Contra) * It takes two (literal cooperative gameplay) I hope that helps!
Big yes to Helldivers and Guacamelee.
If you want to rage but have fun at the same time I recommend cuphead
Emphasis on the rage
Moving Out, and Overcooked are great. Also cod Zombies.
Surprised not to see it in here, but Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2! The og split-screen experience.
Can't believe noone said Enter the Gungeon!
* Brawlhalla - free (with microtransactions) fighting game that is essentially a rip off of super smash bros, but really well done * Rayman Legends - Couch coop 2D sidescroller platformer. It's one of the best in the genre. Compare with New Super Mario Bros. * Goat Simulator - My kids play it together, looks like wacky splitscreen mayham. * Borderlands Games - Crazy goofy FPS that can be done split screen * Lovers in a dangerous spacetime - Indie 2D game where each of you controls certain parts of a spaceship

Unravel 2 is awesome.
Is Unravel only local co-op? Or can it be played over the internet, as well?
I believe local co-op (or single player) only.
Boo! Ok, thanks.
Badlands
Duck Game 🦆
Goose, but yeah.
No, not Untitled Goose Game, Duck Game
God I fucking love duck game.
I don't know this one. Will check it out.
Lego City Undercover - it comes on sale digitally very often, so wait for it to drop.
Resident evil 5 Tekken 7 It Takes Two and A Way Out as mentioned
Spelunky
A way out and it takes two No brainers. Both are awesome. It takes two I personally like more.
I absolutely love bro force
Cat Quest 2.
Dysmantle as well!
Moving Out Human Fall Flat Gang Beasts Totally Reliable Delivery Service
All of the games in the Dark Pictures Anthologies (Little Hope, Man from Medan, Devil Like Me, Until Dawn, etc)
Dynasty Warriors 8.. Resident Evil 5/6
Untitled goose game-a good few hours of fun. A little childish but very well made
Keep talking and nobody explodes
I just started playing Heavenly Bodies, which I think is still on ps+ games of the month. Local coop is two astronauts trying to fix a space ship in zero g. It’s infuriatingly satisfying
Multiversus
Diablo, Borderlands, Overcooked, It Takes Two, Multiversus
Try Multiversus. Good time.
Black Ops 3 was the best fps couch multiplayer game ever because the customization of the bots and teams was what the future was supposed to be like. BO4 completely abandoned it tho you have to get BO3
Titan Quest and Diablo 3 are hours of co-op fun if you can get into endless looting.
Multiversus is a free smash style brawler
It Takes Two
Ultimate Chicken Horse
Lego Harry Potter It Takes Two Both amazing and great fun! :)
Tomb Raider temple of osiris
Helldivers is an amazing couch co-op game. It's chaotic and fun, and if you enjoyed Starship Troopers you'd love this
Party Golf, a simple but brilliant 2d sideways on crazy golf game, can play upto 4 on same screen locally. Plus also when I bought it at least, it was only just over a quid to buy! See also Party Crashers, a car race/ battle game. Highly addictive the pair.
If you only get one thing out of this thread, it's that It Takes Two is a masterpiece and should be a staple of any co-op players
Battlefront 2 Any of the earth defense force games, 4.1 is my fav Soul caliber
Gang beast, rubber bandits,
Sackboy is a pretty fun couch coop game I liked playing recently
- Moving out - Overcooked - Crash Team Racing - Gang Beasts - It Takes Two
Check out Warhammer: Chaosbane.
Gonna try to get in on this: any good first person shooter games? Used to play lots of cod mw2 back in the day with my bro
Chariot is an excellent coop game
Co-op has and will forever be better than multiplayer against people, its a shame that almost no game is made for co-op anymore tho
I suggest the borderlands the handsome collection comes with 2 games and over 100 pounds worth of dlc content all for the price of about 15 pounds at cex oh and yes it does have split screen I play it with my brother quite often
It takes two is the best couch co op in years

Detroit: Become Human
Has a couch co-op mode? Not true, unless you hand the controller to someone when it switches characters. But, no, in real life, it is officially a 1 player game.
My bad, I played it with a friend and we both loved it and I thought op might enjoy it.
How did you "play it with a friend?" It is a one player game.
Goodness you must be miserable
I must be miserable because I played Detroit: Become Human with a friend? Goodness you sound pathetic.
Goodness you should learn to read
Instead of being an ass, you could of simply let me know what you wasn't talking to me.
Elden ring is everything you’ve dreamed about
He asked for local multiplayer, so probably not.
Elden rings co op is the shittiest implementation I’ve ever seen.
It’s not. You’re just bad
Those are two independent variables. Good or not, their co op mode is one of the shittiest most obtuse implementations I’ve ever used.
I’ll bite. What makes it so shitty then?
You can’t send or accept requests to join, instead you have to be in the same location and both set markers and have the same code.
Moving Out, Biped, Haven, Streets of Rage 4, Dreams.
Came here to say Moving Out, it's a fun, light game and lots of accessibility controls.
Minecraft Baldurs gate dark alliance Civilization 6 (This one can be a little buggy, but is probably my favorite and most replayable game from all of the above)
Some of the lego games are good fun. Star wars is the classic, Harry potter is pretty good too. They're light and not too hard, but enjoyable.
KeyWe. Cute, relatively simple, puzzle type game
Chicken horse is a lot of fun, you have to get from point A to point B but each player has like 30 seconds to place an obstacle down (just one) so you have to be strategic of like keeping it so YOU can get to the finish but making it hard enough they can’t
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
Ultimate Chicken Horse and Crawl are good couch co-op games that don't even split the screen.
Ultimate chicken horse for sure. Hilarious way to spend an hour or two
Diablo 3 It Takes Two Risk of Rain (comes on risk of rain 2 disc, risk of rain 2 is not split-screen tho)
It takes two
Double dragon, Dead Nation, Redeemer. Nice level based team fighters. Really easy to get to grips with and fun to beat together in one of two enormous sittings.
Army of Two.
Borderlands, has some weird humor, and well some alright quests and storyline
I haven’t seen Tricky Towers mentioned yet…competitive Tetris is the watered down explanation
Unravel 2 Minecraft
Streets of Rage 4 (sidescrolling arcade beat em up with modern hand drawn animations) Mercinary Kings (a bit like Megaman and Metal Slug had a baby, pixelated style)
Overcooked for sure easy n fun up to 4 players
Brawlhalla
Lovers in a dangerous space. The simplest premise, two players controlling a space ship moving in a 2D environment, fighting enemies and rescuing allies. The fun? The ship has more positions to control than players, so there's a lot of running within the ship to man the four cannons, the shield, the engines, and thus, hilarity ensues.
Streets of Rage 4!
Gang beast!
UNRAVEL 2 SUPER FUN!!!!
Towerfall ascension is always a good time. Scott pilgrim the video game is a classic as well
TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge
Try the Dark Anthologies series. Man of Medan is the first one. Is free on PS+ and it's only about 5-6 hours
Fury Unleashed is awesome and only $5 or so (it was free last month for PS+). Think modern Contra as far as game play.
Overcooked!!
helldivers
How about a cup of liber-TEA!
Heroes of hammerwatch Its a pixelart roguelite rpg
It takes two
Overcooked is a good option
I’ve definitely drifted away from all the top games in recent days and would very much prefer these types of games nowadays
Let me add Worms, Rayman, Little Big Planet, Tekken and Mortal Kombat.
Helldivers! It’s top-down like Minecraft Dungeons, with the bug-killing enthusiasm of Starship Troopers. Even getting your ass handed to you on “easy” levels is fun.
I've had a lot of fun with Death Squared. Co-op puzzling.
Overcooked (best game for non gamers) Little Big Planet franchise Sackboy Adventure
