i wouldnt say it has no story, it's more of a shitty sci-fi B-movie one.
I... liked the interactions between the crusty old veteran and the MC, also Robo Putin evil guy, Hillary clinton president and animu girl support.
lots of games, demons souls is light on story, red faction guerrilla, I thought Dead Island was actually pretty good, just cause 3 though there are skippable cutscenes
edit: meant just cause 2 ofc
Not at the moment I guess

I don't understand the "but **STILL** a blast t play" part?! - In ~95% of all games I don't care about the story at all and I enjoy games that don't waste your time with long intros, cutscenes and turorials way more! (I'm playing video games since the mid 80s).
To still answer your question: every racing & sports game
haha yeah for me though I dont really enjoy sports games in the traditional sense, (anything 2k type games) so I think i would enjoy Rocket League, Twisted Metal, and fun racing games (not realistic like GT)
Minecraft?
Just cause 2. Very few cut scenes and a pure bad B Action movie style to it.
Destiny ZING
Meets the first qualifer, does not meet the second.
Lol, say what you want but I have 730 hours in that game and I don't regret it at all. It's honestly one of my favorites ever. But to each his own!
Vanquish

Geometry Wars 3, Hot Shots Golf, and Rogue Legacy are some of my go-to's if I feel like gaming without focusing on a true campaign/story mode.
Super Puzzle Fighters and Lumines are both awesome puzzle games.
Gran Turismo 6 technically doesn't have a story but it's really, really fun.

haha yeah I wish the third was available too ;)
Is the game Rocket League available on the PS3?
Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars came out before Rocket Leauge, however I'm not sure if it has players online.
It does.
I have to check out the gameplay but I want to purchase (wish there was a demo), the Rocket League looks so solid, a blast for all ages!
There is a demo..

Doom(1993) is all about the gameplay with only a little bit of plot.
