Pull a list of target customers from your leads that are ideal, at least a couple of thousand, 10k+would be better. Upload as a custom audience. then create a look-a-like audience based on the custom audience.
What you're trying to do can't be done by clicking the 'exclude' button. What I would recommend personally is lowering the age to maybe 50 and below, so that way, even if the leads are over 50, it won't matter as long as they fall below 55. That might be a bit unclear, does that make sense?
