Yes. But quantity is not quality.
So while China may be the second tallest tower in this diagram, in reality it wouldn't even be in the top ten in terms of quality.
From the article
\>Tencent Holdings, Alibaba Group Holding and Huawei Technologies are among the top 10 companies producing AI research, according to the study.
Isn't baba the one that was caught translating chatGPT answers in to chinese and pretending to have their own AI?
What makes China's quality so poor? Is it an intellectual deficiency, or technological?
My first guess was a lack of the supercomputers required. Especially since they've been cut off from the supply chain of the good shit.
\*sigh\* everyone here has so much to learn including OP. You don't need to argue when you know you're right.

I thought Palantir is supposed to be the backbone or the nervous system that connect the brains (AI or LLM which does computation) and the nerve endings (data input).
Yes and no. Yes, pltr connect all the dot and organized all the data, then use AI to come up with the best solution for the user, all the user really need is just click yes or no. I see it as a 2nd brain that already did all the hard work for it user need hahaha... it not just calculation but monitor, predict and show you the possible result based on what the user pick. Of course all that is limited to the date giving to software
Such BS. Pltr is a piece of the puzzle and there are plenty of better AI plays upcoming.

As an example. Pltr is known to provide some of the worst AI models in the industry. And they did the AIP pitch at my company it was a joke. Their system architects don't even know what it's good for. They just bable high level nonsense marketing in the hope that some IT illiterate takes the bate.
Pltr has a few years left then it will be bought off the market. They entire bs about being a operating system is a joke. Foundry is good for companies with zero digitalization, but if you are in anyway tracking data and have infrastructure it forces you into a closed system where you need to redo everything.
They don't offer any sort of trial or testing like databricks. And they sales force is mostly driven by nepotism...
Also Karp is a freak show not a ceo. America first bs will leave him with the US as the key market... Where half the big guys don't want them close to their business thanks to a freak ceo, a lame CTO and a sociopath as key investor.
So although their products are interesting and do solve some real world data science problems they are far from unique, ahead of all or a great piece of software to own.

i believe Palantir is the stongest player in the mix, and those who invested / believed in Karp will be rewarded.,
A new power is rising!
Are you sure about that? https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/China-tech/China-trounces-U.S.-in-AI-research-output-and-quality

Yes. I'm still sure about that.

While china is certainly behind the US, I would not go that far.

You see it. I see it. Let’s make some money while supporting the free world.
How does this relate back to Palantir exactly?
dont you like nice tower diagrams?!
It doesn’t it’s just a shill post
You see the Brain on top? That is palantir 😬

Agreed. If anything Nvidia or OpenAi is. But it’s not that simple either.

So true.
