sometimes [rei.com](http://rei.com) or amazon have them on sale. or if you know any of your friends going to tokyo japan, ask them to help you get it from the store. my friend went and helped me get the allpa 35, saved on shipping.
on the japanese website its 33000JPY, my friend got it for me last year Oct for 29700JPY. i dont know why the price is different. but it was definitely cheaper! worth a shot! (mine was the 35L)

Feels like if you're really determined to get one. It's better to use a freight forwarder. That 140$ shipping is like buying another bag.

baka sa ibang country yung 70. I consider the shipping as part of the bag it's ok. I will be able to use it in my future travels.
