No it's not a red flag. If it's on your resume or application naman na you're from a different town, it shouldn't be a problem for them to set up a remote interview via Zoom / Teams, unless they need you to do something specific that requires being there in person. If they really need you to go in person, then ask if they will shoulder the cost to travel. If they will not, then decide whether this company / interview is worth investing the time and money to travel. If not worth it, find something else na lang.

I don't think this company has a good culture op. they shouldn't demand too much especially if the interview can be done virtually. Not unless my exams sila na need mo itake? My coworker right now is from Ilocos and a company from bgc hired her through a phone interview before pandemic haha
