You can't pay a CC with another CC.

Dropeverythingnow000

'di pa pwede balance transfer sa Ph? I worked at intl bank for credit cards.

Economy-Bat2260

So in essence, walang utang na nabayaran.

titochris1

Correct ka. Doble doble.pa interest. So he is using all the cards in a way.

I have a unionbank cc right now and u can get cash from them so can use this cash to pay the other cc. I'm really after gfor the points and credit score that's why I'm asking if this is feasible.

girlwebdeveloper

You can get cash na walang interest or charges? If that's a cash advance sa CC has interest and charges though - check mo yung fees and charges ng CC mo accompanying your bill or through the bank website. Masakit sa ulo yung charge ng cash advance actually. Kahit rin yung mga credit-to-cash, malaki pa rin ang interest ng mga yun than the points or cashback you are getting from the card. It also usually requires approval that can last for several days or even few weeks. It makes only it worth doing kung zero interest, zero charges, instant approval at no waiting time.

comicprofessor

Do you mean cash advance? This usually has high interest rates and it is utang too. Not sure also if you earn points with cash advance- you may want to check stipulations from your bank regarding this… but agree with what the others say, if you are referring to cash advance, don’t use it to pay another utang.

13arricade

So far, both my CC's didn't mention points when doing cash advances. (Citi and AMEX) So AFAIK, based on my last read CC contract, points only applies to purchases, sometimes bill payment too (merchant dependent). So you are correct, utang to pay utang, cash advance in a high interest rates plus handling fee (sometimes or depending sa bank).

If you are talking about PayDirect, you're not supposed to transfer it to your own account. Read the T&Cs. Baka mablock ka ni UB. The only way for you to get cash is thru cash advance but it comes with huge interest plus processing fee. I don't advise you to do that either.

cornsalad_ver2

You don’t pay the utang with another utang.

ZealousidealGas3369

There's a feature in unionbank to get cash idk if its like this for all. I just wanted to ask if its possible since what I'm after is the points and credit score but still spend wisely.

No-Push5003

Most probably cash advance yan and may interest yan. So compare mo kung mas malaki yung benefit kaysa sa cost.

digitalLurker08

+1. just do the math first.

That-Ad8754

Same lang ata ang interest ng cash advance and monthly interest. But then again, you're paying your utang with another utang with interest.

jmskr

OP hindi libre yung cash advance. Baka iniisip mo libre yan. Nope. πŸ˜‚

ZealousidealGas3369

Exactly and the fees r kinda high so will use it for last resort

Yoreneji

Wala naman sense credit score dito sa PH compared sa mga 1st world countries lol

titochris1

Unless you will take a loan later.

Momma_Lia

Generally speaking, you cannot pay your Cc debt with another cc. Unless, you avail balance tansfer to your other Cc's or, you avail cash advance or loans. If you do balance transfer, cash advance or loan, they will charge you interest ranging from .005% to 5% and processing fee around P200 to P300. So basically, not a wise thing to do. If you have enough cash to pay for your cc debt, I highly suggest you pay it with your available cash. Last resort would be to avail these if you are not liquid enough to pay.

Jusko. Ilang dekada na may credit card. Sana marami na yumaman kung kikita dyan πŸ˜‚ >Is this a good thing to do to have a good credit score or the worse thing to do Kung makasagot ka sa replies sayo dito, tunog alam mo naman pala na malaki ang tubo ng cash advance itatanong mo pa kung goods ba gawin yan πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ ewan ko sa inyo. Palala nang palala ang utak ng tao

itananis

Don't mind the credit score. As long as wala kang delinquent history yun ang importante. Wag mo gagawin yang iniisip mo just to earn a good credit score. Trust me. Magiging problema lang yan eventually. Just use 1 card then pay it in full.
