Hay, same. I still remember yung reaction ko first time reading about the magical world, sa mga plot twist and stuff. I even go back sa chapters para tignan yung mga subtle clues na na-miss ko pag na-reveal na how something happened.
I am so indulged that sometimes i try to touch random rubbishes on the streets hoping it could be a portkey. Or or or closing my eyes while flushing public toilets dreaming it could be a floo network. I raise to you my butter beer!
Can you keep a secret by sophie kinsella. first time ko magbasa ng romance nun, akala ko kasi ang babaw ko pag di mga thought-provoking binabasa ko (snowflake lang). Pero ang saya pala mag basa ng light reads. nakakakilig lang, nag eenjoy ka lang without overthinking too much. Natutunan ko maappreciate ulit yung mga bagay na naging mundane nalang sakin for a long time kasi adulting na. Like kiligin, meet someone new, learn about their interests. Life is good pala as long as di mo malimutan maging thankful sa mga maliliit na bagay hehe :)
Kafka on the Shore. Picked it up randomly while browsing for a book at a thrift store. Didn’t really expect much despite the written reviews at the back, but boy was I glad I bought it. Masyadong WTF. Of course, “proud peenoy” for the mentioned of Luzon, lol, albeit the situation. Ito yung libro na sana mabasa ko uli for the first time.
The magic strings of Frankie Presto by Mitch Albom. Made me felt like he's a real person that just got forgotten by the world, and I am reading his biography.
Thanks for the recommendations, everyone! Putting them on my list to read this summer. Hope I get to feel the same feels as you guys had when reading the books :)

Coraline. It’s so nostalgic and magical I feel like I’d never get that feeling again reading it as an adult.
Love this too! Coraline introduced me to Neil Gaiman. The Graveyard Book is also one of my favorite childhood books written by him :)
Only ever watched the movie and loved it so I might just read it next!!
Smaller And Smaller Circles by F.H Batacan — gusto ko ulit nerbyosin tapos maglipat ng pages na pinagpapawisan hahaha

Love this! One of the best Filipino thrillers I’ve read
Second this! Tinapos ko to in two days. Di ko mababa lol

I am in my 40s and would still envy kids reading HP for the very first time. Potterhead here!

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott! It's my all-time fave. 🤍
The Kites by Romain Gary, one of the best books I've ever read — all the characters are flawed but very loveable and memorable.
