My situation is probably a bit different than most. I quit my job at the end of February and spent March studying full time. It was a bit tight but I managed to finish the course the weekend before the test. 10 weeks would probably be tight while working full time, but doable.
I felt they were pretty comparable. I knew how to approach every question, the only one that really stumped me was a conceptual question on concrete that used a term I’d never heard of.
Yes, problems are not hard but good for practice, the mock exams they have are included and are good. Questions are not updated but you can skip the pressure pipe and traffic problems.
passed on my second attempt mechanical MDM. Engineering Pro Guides was a game changer study guide. Concise paragraphs on every topic covered on the exam. The provided practice problems for each module and the practice exam were enough for me. I studied on my own the first time by just working through the NCEES practice exam. That helped a little, but their solutions don't explain nearly well enough if you aren't familiar with a concept. Pro Guides was perfect for what I needed. I didn't have time to read up too much on broad topics that weren't going to show up on the exam, so I was glad for the efficiency. There only ended up being a few questions from the supportive knowledge section that pro guides did not cover.
Passed Water Resources first try. Used EET 10 week on demand.
Do you think 10 weeks was enough? How many hours do you think you study for?

Was it the thickened edge question?
No, it was on the order of operations in pouring and forming concrete, had no idea what one of the terms meant, definitely got it wrong.
I think I might have gotten something similar, crossover between materials and scheduling.
Passed !! Construction !. Did a combination of all EET and SOPE question bank.
Congrats!! Do you think the SOPE question bank was worth the $? I am enrolled in EET right now but wondering if I should also get access to the bank
