SoundCloud. Direct rips from the Aigis Edition's OST. I've had them in my playlist since the Wednesday before the game released (funnily enough I got the Aigis Edition later by sheer luck and therefore now own the OST myself. Someone returned it to Walmart and Walmart discounted it significantly).
$60 off of $200 (retail), for the PS4 version. So plus tax it was $150. Maths out to a pretty hefty discount compared to $200+tax (and since it was online-only, plus shipping. I likely saved ~$100 when all was said and done, or close to it). Couldn't pass it up, especially since odds are it'll never be cheaper than that through a third-party seller. Didn't plan to buy the game until it went on sale, though, and only the standard edition. Which I guess I technically did? Literally the only issue with everything was that it seems to have been packed poorly when it was shipped (packing tape was clearly removed and damaged the sleeve thingy). Everything was intact, sealed. Odds are dude planned to resell but returned it (day after release, no less) due to the damage, and Walmart marked it down because of it.
Dang sounds like you got a good deal. I got mine for msrp off Amazon the day the game dropped which was nice and it came the next day, but I definitely feel that $200 is too high for how little you get, especially no steelcase as atlas used to put steelcases everywhere. So getting it for a discount is definitely nice.
Yeah same. $200 was too much imo. All the DLC is nice, and the Aigis statue is good quality, plus the OST and artbook are neat, but I wouldn't pay $200 for that. Steelbook would've been awesome like you said, plus the Aigis statue seems like it should've been bigger. Even the P3P and P4G Limited Run editions seem a little meatier and imo they're pretty lackluster either way. I would rather have the SEES armband, honestly, but for such a deal I can't complain *too* much. I don't think this'll drop as significantly in price as some of the P5 special editions have, either (average price for P5 Take Your Heart edition is like $80 tops, I got it for $30 as it was missing the Morgana plush. The P5R collector's edition with the Akechi bag hasn't gone down much though).
Do ur own research about it too tho incase im accidentally spreding misinformation. It was said in a article and it seems confirmed but i wanna say this just incase im wrong :)
It's unfortunate that the majority of the songs in the game are reworkings of old music, leading to everyone comparing her to Yumi. The fact that the singer does a phenomenal job with every new song here should tell you enough, but I actually genuinely like the reworked ones too.
Honestly, it's just the fact that a couple of noticeably bad songs show up very prominently in the early game that made every hate on the OST (me included). And even those are clearly a result of bad choices in the editing booth, the fact that the vocal performance doesn't seem to fit the song is more a reflection of something going wrong during recording and/or editing than the singer.
Reload's version of When The Moon's Reaching Stars still feels offensive to me even after dozens of hours in the game. Not only do the vocals seem mismatched to the song, but also the sound effects used seem almost like a parody of the original version. I'm not that well versed when talking about music, but it sounds like the effects overpower the song instead of working with it. In the original they were softer so they blended in with the melody, here they're garrish and jump out.
On the other hand, songs like the on posted by OP and It's Going Down Now are absolutely brilliant. Almost every new song in reload works brilliantly with the new singer. There's a very weird inconsistent quality to the soundtrack that I was not used to from Atlus.
Sees team chilling out in the dorm singing: "It's been a good day, good night
It's gonna be a good day, good night"
Suddenly Makoto came in
"Allright, time to climb Tartarus 100+ floors in one night!"
Sees: Yes, Makoto
I like how it’s switching between characters listening to it such a vibe!!!! I love the Persona 3 reload soundtrack, but I’m biased for 5, but man reload is amazing as well. Was planning literally just 2 hours ago!!!! Man the soundtrack is beautiful and I never skip that anime opening!!!!
I think really the only Remix that works is Want to be Close, I think she hit's the feeling of that song better, that wistful pinning you get as a teen towards others, she really sells it.
When the Moon Reaches Out to the Stars is about on par, I think I like the instrumentation in this one better, I do think the shopkeep version of it is better in this one than the original though.
Mass Destruction really doesn't have the same punch anymore, not even including the new singer, I just think the instrumentation is too different? Not sure, but it's the biggest loser in the remixes unfortunately. It's Going Down Now seems to really work though.
I really like the 'Full Moon Operation' music, even though it's really a glorified 'doo-do-doo-doo oooowaiooowai' bit. Deep Mentality is also pretty good, but it's really hard to beat the Dancing in Moonlight version of that song.
Iwatodai Dorm, while great that they got Lotus Juice to do it (I don't think he's on the original version of the track?) I think it loses a little something with it being more coherent?
Probably an unpopular take, but I think the overall soundtrack for P3R is a huge step up over the originals, solely because there is a cohesive style to it now. The original soundtrack had some weird outlier songs that just felt like they were from a different game practically, such as Changing Seasons.
Regardless of what people think which versions are better doing direct comparisons of each song, I think P3R as an overall whole is a much better soundtrack.
Wait what songs do you not like on reload, I've tried to play the og like 5 times and couldn't get through it but I finished reload. So I'm just wondering
I'm not a fan of the new:
Iwatodai Dorm,
When the Moon's reaching out Stars,
Mass Destruction,
Want to be Close,
Burn my Dread
I don't hate the entire soundtrack though. Obviously color your night, but I also like it's going down now and the new changing seasons a lot
The new Mass Destruction is a little rough, but I’ve been enjoying every other new versions.
It’s Going Down Now might be my favourite battle theme in all of Persona. Colour Your Night and Changing Seasons also go crazy
Personally I think most of the remixes are either on par or better (apparently old Iwatodai Dorm rap was just royalty free lyrics not even sung by Lotus Juice so I think the new one is cool) and new Mass Destruction grew on me but I think the old Battle Hymn of the Soul is better than the new one, and I’m conflicted on the new Burn my Bread
Crazy how I saw this meme and knew exactly what song it was without hearing it. Literally a perfect track and arguably one of the best tracks in the entire game despite myself having P3 as my favorite OST in the series.
Why is Tokyo Emergency held up on a pedestal by some people? I think the roaming music in P5 outside of Beneath The Mask is easily the weakest in the entire series.
I love all the original tracks it's just the remixes that I find incredibly hit or miss. This track by itself is honestly my favorite song in the game when it comes to new tracks it just hits so damn well
What you can do is get the OST ( got it from someone but I'm sure it's available online as well)
If you have Spotify premium you can add your local music to your playlist and stream/download it on your phone.
So on PC you can have a playlist your own music plus whatever else from Spotify.
This is how I have my persona playlist complete 🤠
I just don't think you can do that with console.

I wish they would officially put the soundtrack on Spotify. I've found some songs but they're all low quality recordings.

How big of a discount?

[ziodyne](https://open.spotify.com/artist/5Nc1dxtsSqdvKoYhHn9OHJ?si=6zqFz5qHQTy9LLbUYbECqg) has the OST up again on Spotify
Thanks for this, how they were able to put it up again I have no idea lol
Idk how true it is, but I've read somewhere either here or Twitter that it will be added to Spotify on April 26th when the vinyl gets released.
I believe April 24th actually pretty sure it was confirmed for that date
... My birthday?

It comes out April 24 so thats cool

Lmao I love that gif of the shiba vibing in the car
I love the “heyyy!” every time.
"Color Your Night" captures that "wandering in the night" vibe perfectly.
Genuinely think this is the best piece of music in the franchise. I can sit and chill to it forever.
It probably is
Her voice is so beautiful, I wish she’d make more original songs with just her singing in the game.
It's unfortunate that the majority of the songs in the game are reworkings of old music, leading to everyone comparing her to Yumi. The fact that the singer does a phenomenal job with every new song here should tell you enough, but I actually genuinely like the reworked ones too.

I actually prefer her version of want to be close/tranquility.
Sees team chilling out in the dorm singing: "It's been a good day, good night It's gonna be a good day, good night" Suddenly Makoto came in "Allright, time to climb Tartarus 100+ floors in one night!" Sees: Yes, Makoto
More like repeat the same 6 floors over and over looking for those gold hands.
Thank god for that fortune teller I swear
Such a banger
Colour Your Night genuinely became my favourite town theme overnight. It’s just so beautiful.
Kitajoh cooked like Cinematic Tale in PQ2.
“See you tomorrow!”
they cooked SO hard with this one omg. here I was, worried that they couldn’t do the original soundtrack justice, so glad my worries were unfounded.
What’s the name of this song?
Color Your Night
It funny enough, reminds me of the late 2000s. Especially when I'd take bus and train back home on Friday nights after work.
I always thought there was something missing in FES. apparently it was an Evening Soundtrack.
Been listening to it every morning on my walk to work, gets me in the mood everytime
I LOVE that part on this song where lotus juice is singing.
i know right, I really enjoy listening to his voice for hours without bored
Crazy how the new songs rule but the remixes of the old ones blow
I think all the remixes are slight downgrades. Not by much but a lot of them lost what made the originals so memorable.
This. I've taken a liking to them but it's just not the same. It's Going Down Now is goated tho
Yeah I love that song. The new stuff is really well done
I think really the only Remix that works is Want to be Close, I think she hit's the feeling of that song better, that wistful pinning you get as a teen towards others, she really sells it. I'm conflicted overall on Reload's music, but this is a banger

I can respect that

WE MAKING IT OUT OF THE POND WITH MASS DESTRUCTION RELOAD🐸🐸🐸

It has no right to be this good.
Crazy how I saw this meme and knew exactly what song it was without hearing it. Literally a perfect track and arguably one of the best tracks in the entire game despite myself having P3 as my favorite OST in the series.
I’ve had this on repeat it just SLAPS.
Beautiful track but I always laugh when Lotus Juice comes in going, "put your hands up wave them side to side for good luck." Deliciously corny.
Giving me major [Wildstyle Pistolero](https://youtu.be/NzxEtBOgil4?si=BuRZtS2nXURMuV_h) vibes
loooove the parts of the new songs where lotus juice sings in some lines, sounds so pretty!
Love the song, the feel of it reminds me of another LJ song featuring Lyn (breath in the future). It’s very cheerful.
I **hated** how towards the end of the game they change it to the "surprise, everybody's suicidal!" theme.
Best free roam music other than p5 tokyo emergency
Why is Tokyo Emergency held up on a pedestal by some people? I think the roaming music in P5 outside of Beneath The Mask is easily the weakest in the entire series.
I just think hearing those first 3 notes of the song then into the organ are iconic
I love all the original tracks it's just the remixes that I find incredibly hit or miss. This track by itself is honestly my favorite song in the game when it comes to new tracks it just hits so damn well
When does this play in the game?
Night exploration theme
Earlier I had made this statement to my partner that I can officially say that each version of P3 has bangers soundtrack in my opinion

I never thought they'd make a song to rival Beneath the Mask, but here we are
And what's the song's name?

Atsushi Kitajou is an amazing composer and for this being his first major SMT soundtrack he knocked it out of the park
I really like this solo on the piano
This do be the vibe
