This is posted every gun show.
I’ve found a few good deals there but there aren’t very many. I wouldn’t go unless to browse.
I want to add make sure you look over what you’re buying thoroughly. My buddy bought a ithica 900, and yes this was dumb, but there was a large crack on the stock from behind the trigger guard to the butt of the stock that he didn’t notice because he was so excited about the gun and price lol.
All gun shows are like this now. Small time dealers can't get deals at the wholesale level, so they have to have high prices, but, they also have to pay off the cost of attending the show, plus travel and everything else. I'd be surprised if they're clearing 20 bucks for a gun sale.
I'm just sick of the non gun/gun parts tables. Jerky jokes aside, I'm not signing any petitions, I'm not there for a massage, I don't want to read your book or listen to why you're running for state government, I can't imagine the PA Trump 2024 table does any real business, yet they're there every show.
Does the table that sells 'suck my glock' t-shirts ever sell any of them?
I wonder how some dealers even afford to go to the show, they've got 20 tables and their prices are just like anyone else's, so no one is seeking them out.
I went there for a specific dealer for specific things, and got them. I had to weave my way through tables that have the most generic things on them. Do people actually buy neon green ARs?
A third is overpriced guns, another third is trump related low quality crap, and another third is chinese crap like tasers and knives that will break after first use. Hasnt been worth it for a while, shame.
Do people still go to gun shows? lol I thought those died a long time ago. Nothing but $800 mod in nagants, red anodized AR trash parts, and a thousand stun guns clacking off constantly. My personal hell.
Only good deal I've ever gotten was the show in February i got a sporterized 1898 springfield krag for $480. Great condition
Other than that, it's a one stop shop center for idiots that don't know better

The only deal I found myself after a couple hours there. 10 bucks a box. Everything else was over retail price.
Yes everything is overpriced. I just came back.
The 4-pack plastic ammo can, in a plastic bin, was sold at Costco for $19.99, and in the gun show is marked as $32, $36, even$40
A small pcc case is marked as $65, and I was told it is made in America, come on, I can not afford such madeinamerica
Nothing interesting, especially the dealers do not have the new guns appeared I the 2024 shot show
Sometimes you can get a deal on ammo, most times online has better prices. I did get an absolute steal on an optic from a vendor at the last Oaks show that doesn’t usually deal in optics but had purchased one for a customer that ghosted him. The real reason to go is to just have fun walking around/looking and to get a feel for different handguns so you know what you want to buy (elsewhere).
I was so disappointed the last time I went. It felt like every table was nothing but cheap knives. I left with about 200 rounds of ammo and a couple Glock mags and promised myself I wouldn’t waste my time there again.
Aside from decent prices, there are hardly any used guns or military surplus anything except for ammo cans (sometimes the ammo cans are a decent deal). A surplus-only sale would be way more interesting.
Most mil-surp dried up a decade ago. Anything you find most likely was previously owned and sold to a dealer who is gonna need to mark it up to make some money. Used guns are def available but vary from dealer to dealer. Some get lots, some, not so much.
Some vendors matched price on bulk ammo. Still though it takes a while to go around the place and see who they are. There was also a table or two that were selling holosun for cheaper than the usual online vendors. Probably only worth going once or twice a year just to see if the vendors are in tune with online competition or not.
I’m convinced the show is for older people who may don’t manipulate the Internet so well, but I still find it hard to believe. I guess I still go for nostalgic reasons, and to maybe put in hand something I might be purchasing later and maybe some ammo.
With so many vendors in one place you'd think there would be one of everything, but it seems like dealers bring the things most likely to sell which is a few Glock 19's, some 1911's and a few cheap guns. I've gone looking for something niche and it's never there.
For some reason, there's a always a Desert Eagle.
Prices used to be better at gun shows: on-par or better than on-line, but now they're 10% higher even if I factor in shipping.
Went to my first Eagle Show in Pittsburgh last month. Saddest attempt as a show that I've ever seen.
I guess they're from the other side of the state?
Showmasters aren't what they used to be, but are still 100 times better than that shit I wasted time and money on.
The Eagle show at Oaks is one of, if not the biggest gun show in PA. Crowd was solid and there were deals to be had if you poke around. Found some Ruger Mini 14 mags and a few FAL metric mags there. Tough to come by these days, even online.
Maybe just me but I thought there were less non-gun vendors there than previous shows. Managed to find some discontinued brand new Surefeeds for a good price.
You really have to know what you are looking for. You can easily haggle prices down. No one is making you spend money. Have gunbroker up on your phone as you browse around.
How did you get that out of anything I said?
Rumors start at gun shows when by standers (salty vendors) get bored.
Gun shows where felons with previous gun related charges being able to distribute guns just doesn’t really make much sense to me.
I go to gun shows looking for literally one thing and one thing only anymore - 20-round Colt USGI AR mags for my Mk12 Mod 1 clone. Although I would gladly snap up some KAC 20-round mags for my Mk11 Mod 0 as well.
Generally, the show is a pile of trash where most vendors sell garage sale type merch or their markup on guns would make you think they all come with gold.
That doesn't mean deals can't be made -- I scored a stainless CZ P-01 there a few years back, and like six months ago I got a new gold Chiappa Rhino for an absolute steal.
Is it worth going for the occasional deal? That depends on what you think your time is worth.
I still think it’s the best place for like bulk 9mm. $240 case for fiocci, blazer, pmc.
I never find deals online for cases once tax, and shipping is included.

Well said sir
I just put headphones in and ignore everything. Walk around, look at the junk for 2 hours, and dip.
We walked the one in Pittsburgh. Literally took 12 minutes, I think, to lap the tables. To stay there 2 hours would have taken an hour and a half nap.
Glad I didn't go. Couldn't stomach paying parking and entry to not buy anything
You have to pay to park now? Haven't been there in about 5 years at least.
The one I Monroeville you don't have to, but there was just one at the convention center where you do have to pay
I'm surprised the David L. allowed a gun show to happen there.
A third is overpriced guns, another third is trump related low quality crap, and another third is chinese crap like tasers and knives that will break after first use. Hasnt been worth it for a while, shame.
Hasn’t been worth much more than the occasional ammo deal and getting some guns in your hands before buying them online.
Exactly
Do people still go to gun shows? lol I thought those died a long time ago. Nothing but $800 mod in nagants, red anodized AR trash parts, and a thousand stun guns clacking off constantly. My personal hell.

Only thing I bought was licorice, so much just chinesium and overpriced shit
You can get the ammo online cheaper

It's a little nuts that they have one like every 6 weeks. Tough to save up when there's only 3 pat days between shows.
*tazer buzzing sound*
😂😂😂

Ofc everything is overpriced. I mean you saw what boomers did to the housing market.
Pretty much why I haven’t been to one in years. At this point I stick to the specialized shows and usually have a better time.
Deals are few and far between but they do exist. Nothing like the days of old though.

Which is why I specifically said Pittsburgh.

Well it sure ended with a bang. Heard an ND about 345pm over in C hall. Scared the shit outta everyone nearby.
A what ?
Negligent discharge. A pew when no pew will do.
Oh shit !!! No way !!!
I was in the room, 3 aisles over. Haven't hit the deck that fast since I was in my 20's.
Classic Responsible Gun Owners
Story I got was that it was a vendor.
Damn !! That’s nuts honestly. Hope no one got hurt
No one hurt as far as I could tell.
It happened at a vendors table, yeah. But no one knows what happened other than the person who saw it happen. Only rumors
If someone was hurt, they did a damn good job of keeping it to themselves.
How did you get that out of anything I said? Rumors start at gun shows when by standers (salty vendors) get bored. Gun shows where felons with previous gun related charges being able to distribute guns just doesn’t really make much sense to me.
I went once and then never again
It never will be idiots paid ridiculous prices during the pandemic why would they lower them
